I'm glad Bashir retained, but the 3 count looked a little off.

What would be a correct call if there's an injured defensive player on a play like that? Issues like that make it look like football and its rules are all still in progress of being perfected.

The card does look pretty good. I'd think that Angle and Joe would both win. Styles ultimately beating Joe would be the best, but that probably won't happen.

I guess Toys r us considers the PS2 to be dead, cause there were hardly any of those games there.

Liquor should be sold in vending machines.

Norm MacDonald did the best roast.

It's not something that's rotten, but I discovered the hard way that you cannot reheat Taco Bell. It just becomes inedible. And those Jack in the Box tacos literally cease to be food when they cool off.

The bird stuff was kind of avant-garde television. They should've made it the whole episode, because the Jesus stuff sucked big.

The Rays have a special force behind them. A fairly young expansion team in another sport had a logo change, eliminated the first word of their name, and won the championship that season. That's how it works.

I have some problems with the Japanese language, but one thing they've gotten right is the word tanpin. It's often used to say that you don't want a combo at fast food joints. English does not have such a word. Every time I just want to get a burger, they'll ask me if I want a combo, and I have to say no. Yeah, I can just say "by itself" to begin with, but that just kinda feels weird. Plus they'll probably end up confirming that I don't want a combo, anyway. English needs to step it up.

The Red Sox have given their curse to the Angels. I believe that they started owning the Angels right after winning the WS. Now, of course you can't just curse a team just like that, there has to be a reason for it. The Angles have a name curse. A stupid name curse. Until this Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim thing ends, the curse will not.

Announcers shouldn't be allowed to do the "We'll see you later tonight!!! haha we're on the east coast and it's past midnight" thing.

Yeah, American Dad has completely surpassed Family Guy. Every episode is epic.

http://www.1up.com/do/my1Up?publicUserId=5379721 It's funny to see Jeremy Parish, just like everyone else associated with 1up and EGM (except John Davison, who no longer works there) getting all butthurt about Nintendo turning their back on REAL GAMERS because they removed the GBA slot hardly anyone used at the same time they announced a slate of hardcore Japanese games for their system. Pick your battles, doggy. I don't even see the distinction between Game Boy and DS. It's a portable Nintendo system, and if it were called Game Boy Dual Screen from the start, I don't know if that article would have been written.

Guns/LAX was really good

Yup, these jokes were in the episode.

If the Beavers destroying the Trojans isn't a omen telling you not to have sex tonight, I don't know what is.

If it's bottled tea, I guess I've been spoiled by Japanese tea. No, not spoiled, I just miss having 3 or 4 different bottles of unsweetened tea to choose from in a vending machine. Tea with NOTHING ADDED TO IT. American tea might as well be soda with all the sugar, corn syrup, and wacky fruit flavors.

Yasunori Mitsuda was my first favorite. Chrono Trigger is a pretty exceptional debut soundtrack for him, and he surpassed it with Chrono Cross, and Xenogears, both of which are as close to perfect as I've found in game music. Then Masashi Hamauzu came along, and I think he has surpassed every other composer related with SquareEnix. Actually, it's because of him that I got into classical music, since I already liked Hamauzu, and read that he was influenced by the likes of Debussy. That classical background explains why he's been so good at arranging pieces for those piano albums. He also sang in the choir for One Winged Angel, apparently.

It's way too entertaining for me listening to Bill Simmons and Cousin Sal do the NFL lines game on the podcast every week.

He could've been referencing the Chinese version

Try some Melt-banana. They're all over the place, but the vocalist kinda raps. Well, not so much rap as free verse with purposely inconsistent rhythms and lyrics that are written for their sound, as opposed to their meaning. Good times.
