Lord of The Curry replied to RavishingRickRudo's topic in Mixed Martial Arts
Looks like UFC is attempting to one-up the lamest main event in a while by making Bisping vs Leben the headliner for the UFC 89 card in October. -
From what I've read the message is left there and you can take it or leave it as opposed to Happy Feet's message being an actual part of the plot. Pixar does a good job in all of its films of keeping the deeper shit hidden and I can't see them breaking form now.

I seriously don't get what your Noons hated is about. The guy obviously has skills as a fighter and (unless it's on the subject of Nick Diaz) seems really cool in the interviews. Hatin' cause he's a rich white boy? -
This movie is tops on my To-Do list for the weekend, I can't wait. From what I've heard this will very much be a visually communicative film with minimal dialogue so I'm extremely excited to see what Pixar can cook up as they haven't made a bad film yet and, honestly, I don't them doing one for a while if ever.

So, I'm having a debate with a female co-worker at the moment on the status of Kim Kardashian's boobs: fake or no? I say fake, she says no. -
Yeah right, chicken vs steak and steak wins in a walk.

So KJ Noons was a guest on Inside MMA and he was talkin' some pretty big smack on Diaz but the icing on the ice cream was when he pulled out a photo of Nick after their first fight and called himself 'The Artist' becase "This right here is a masterpiece and I painted it." I'm a Diaz fan for life but seriously......PWNED. -

So in a spot of retardedness EliteXC isn't planning on airing Bigfoot/Sergei on the main card of the CBS show, instead on the Showtime undercard. -
Cluck cluck bitches.

Sherdog is reporting that Sergei Kharitinov has agreed to fight Antonio Silva for the first EliteXC Heavyweight Belt. I can dig that. -
Done deal, O'Neal is headed to T-Dot!!!

Yeah, it is but MMAJunkie had it listed for 87 on their Rumors page, my bad.

UFC 86: Jackson vs Griffin
Lord of The Curry replied to Lord of The Curry's topic in Mixed Martial Arts
"I was recently watching 'The Bourne Identity,' and I decided that is the style I need to do," he said. "Whatever you call that, that's what I'm doing."- Forrest, discussing his strategy for the Rampage fight. I eagerly anticipate seeing Rampage getting stabbed through the hand with a pencil. -
At least you chalk it up to fandom.

Updated card.... GSP/Fitch Lesgnar/Herring Florian/Sexican J-Mac/Maia Manny/Dana's Cabana Boy (Rob Emerson) Evensen/Kongo Steve Bruno vs Chris Wilson Thomas Drwal vs Andre Gusamo Luke Cummo vs Tamdan McCrory J-Roc vs Ben Saunders That should be about it with Karo/Yoshida and Guida/Danzig being bumped to the fall.

Oh dude, you need to see Eddie Alvarez vs Joachim Hansen from the DREAMS tourney if you're thinking Horn/Nate was FOTY quality. It's not a bad fight by any means but like I said, check the above-mentioned fight and you'll see a step up in quality.

Yeah, Hazlett has looked good this year. I picked up 82 last night and I'm not sure if the Koscheck fight will hold up when it's all said and done at the years end but damn that was a fun fight to watch.

UFC 86: Jackson vs Griffin
Lord of The Curry replied to Lord of The Curry's topic in Mixed Martial Arts
If Diaz gets past Neer in September and comes out okay I see no reason why they couldn't do Diaz/Griffin on the November or December shows. I would pay dirty PPV prices to hear Nate's take on Griffin leaving the camp. -
YOUR Fight Team...MMA Draft!

These things confuse me. I am not really sure about being down. Plus it's kinda gay. Let fighters be fighters. -
UFC 86: Jackson vs Griffin
Lord of The Curry replied to Lord of The Curry's topic in Mixed Martial Arts
It's not a bad bet but like Carlito said Marcus has been beaten by fighters with similar styles so I see no reason why Tyson can't replicate a similar result. If Griffin wins I see no reason why he shouldn't be fighting for a title shot in his next bout. -

Maybe not standing but from the little I've seen in the Salaverry fight Rousimir has freakish strength and great control so if he gets Dan down Hendo may be in for a long night of getting out-grappled. Of course, The Big Right Hand puts an end to all this if it connects but I think Rousimir has the ground credentials to present problems. -

I think right now UFC will be giving pushes to gives like Phalhares and Demian Maia because they've realized that the only style of fighter who will give Anderson trouble is somebody with serious skills on the ground. Not to say they'll win but I can understand the selling point. -

Speaking of Chuck/Rashad it looks like Dan Henderson vs Rousimar Phalhares is set for this card. -
UFC 86: Jackson vs Griffin

Griffin isn't stupid, he knows a takedown and ground work could lead to a sub so why bother when he could easily take our Aurelio standing?
