I wonder if it'll be revealed that when Daniel and Charlotte "shut down" the tempest he was actually re-wiring it to Keamy's gadget.
-
"You look like Barack Obama. I am so dating Barack Obama".
-
According to Lostpedia it might be a very high-tech metrinome.
-
I'll echo the "I'll only see it on drugs" sentiment.
-
So what's everybodys thoughts on Keamy's little device? I'm thinkin' it's like a mini-sonic barrier designed to keep Smokey at bay.
-
It could be both. In the flash-forward it's clear when Ben talks to Widmore that he doesn't find the island but at one point had the co-ords for it.
-
See, that's you missing the point: Pam isn't in love with Jim. Or at least not yet.
-
No movie, it's from HBO's The Wire aka Best TV Show Eva.
-
Oh, 100%. Somebody at the TWOP forums brought up an interesting theory that Locke dooms everybody on the island because after the Oceanic Six depart he "moves" it, thus ruining any chance of rescue for the rest of them. Also, Aint It Cool News posted some spoiler info regarding the finale, not sure if it'll pan out but......

So, reading on Lostpedia it's confirmed that the symbol on the secondary protocol papers that Keamy had is the same one that Ben had on had on his jacket a few weeks back. Pretty obvious at this point that it's for The Orchid which, I imagine is what Locke is supposed to use to "move the island." I really, really hope we see more of Abbadon in season five because I am very curious to see what happened to him on his Walkabout.
-
Ah. I see. Clearly you you were a fan of Indie Kimbo when he was all about the street. Now he's sold out to the man. I can already see the writing on the wall with people crying "Thompson got paid to take a dive" when in reality it's more "Jamesy has a glass jaw and has no ground game".
-
I really dig how you flat-out admit you know nothing about Thompson but still assume Kimbo is getting schooled. That's a unique type of silly.
-
She's happy with Jim but keep in mind she just went through a 7 year grind with Roy. I doubt she's in any hurry to jump back into wedding mode.
-
Interesting to note that in the past it appears that Matthew Abbadon was trying to influence Locke on behalf of the island with the Walkabout suggestion but in the future he's working against it due to his relationship with Widmore. Wonder if something happened that turned him?
-
Michaels work is, for all purposes, done. He was there to get info for Ben and that's what he did. I really enjoyed the nervous way that Keamy asked "Does Benjamin Linus know my name?".
-
The Wire lives on! Dope on the fuckin table! It was confusing but I loved it. I'll continue to hope that Christian is not Jacob and that his line of speaking on his behalf meant just that. It sucks that Keamy likely won't live to see the end of this season as I'd enjoy seeing his backstory and how he got involved with Widmore.

Diego has excellent scrambling but Sherk has the wrestling to keep him back on the ground. It'd be a close fight I think but I wouldn't want to call it.
-
Not sure if you knew this but GSP already did that. Agreed on Koscheck though.
-
Good call, didn't think of Rock. That'd be a damn good fight actually.
-
But like I said, the inherent danger of keeping Sherk around is that he can (and likely would) beat everybody at that weight class not named BJ Penn. I understand that people hate Sherk but it would be suicidal from a business standpoint to match him up against exciting fighters like Huerta or Florian again because he'd out-wrestle them for three rounds and work his way back into title contention.

Leben/Bisping is off. Per Meltzer.... "Chris Leben was sentenced today to 35 days in jail after turning himself in on a probation violation. He will be released on 5/27, because he is being given credit for days served, but this won't leave him with any training time for a fight on 6/7 in London. It has been confirmed with UFC the Michael Bisping vs. Chris Leben match is off. Joe Silva had already had a back-up plan in case Leben wasn't able to do the fight. UFC expected Leben to be released today. At this point we can't confirm a replacement." I can see Bisping/Maia or Bisping/MacDonald as replacements as neither fighters took much damage in their 83 fights and are likely still in decent fighting shape.

I'm just wondering with the whole "UFC is cutting boring fighters" thing going on lately with JOB, Lutter and Starnes being released.........would they actually cut Sherk? My first reaction is that there's no way they'd allow somebody with his name and record go to EliteXC or Japan but at the same time if Sherk loses there's still a strong possibility that if he's kept around he can beat everybody they put in front of him.
-
So Tito thinks that if he beats Machida UFC will either refuse to interview him afterwards or cut his mic because they're afraid of what he'll say.
-
Word going 'round that Goulet is out of the Kelly fight. In somewhat-related news UFC has apparently signed UK Welterweight Dan "The Outlaw" Hardy to a four-fight deal.

Brilliant analysis, Mole.
