I could see Claire running into Locke, Hurley and Ben. BTW, tonights episode is called Cabin Fever.

Death Warrant would be an awesome name for a PPV with a big-time grudge match in the main event.

Looks like this is well on its way to being the biggest WEC show of all time. 8000 tickets sold out for the Arco Arena lower bowl very quickly and they've been forced to open up the upper level.

Right on. Thanks dude.

Did you order it online? And yeah, 40 bucks is decent. I'd rock that over an Affliction tee any day and they run up to $80 in some cases.

Even though I haven't seen the fight since first viewing I'm throwing down Sam Stout vs Rich Clementi from UFC 83. This nomination can (and will) be chalked up to me witnessing it live but this fight was insane. It's a shame that when the DVD was released they won't show entrances as both were choice with Rich coming down to "Here comes the rain" by Eurythmics and Stout coming out to his Eminem theme. The first round started off badly for Sam as Rich took him down and got mount very quickly but wasn't doing much damage. Crowd was just going off the chain with "Stout" chants and when Sam finally escaped the pop was on par with anything that went down that night and yes, I'm including GSP's win over Serra. Clementi however held his own standing, cracking Sam with punches and even landing a beautiful spinning back fist. Clearly Rich's round. The next two rounds were action-packed with Rich trying (and sometimes succeeding) at getting Stout down but he wasn't able to do much in the way of damage but controlled well. In the third round Stout went for the kill, hurting Clementi with body shots and hooks to the head with one body shot in particular making the crowd go apeshit as Sam tried to finish No Love but wasn't able to close the deal. This was a great fight, no lull in the action with Clementi more then holding his own with the stand-up and Stout showing his improved ground defense with escaping the mount. Add in a super-hot crowd and you have a FOTYC.

Dude, Mandy is totally saying "Go Georges". GSP was hittin' that shit strong. -
Okay, just because you (heart) Belcher doesn't mean Day put himself in the mix by beating him. Or is this you trying in some sick way to justify Talent blowing it?

Where did I say Noons and Berto are top-flight? Awww, right. Nowhere. -

He just got beat by Josh Neer who, while tough, isn't exactly top-flight so I don't think you're in much of a position to say he'd dominate Noons and Berto. -
Thanks to our awesome MOD for doing this thread up proper. This is something that we as a group can discuss but what are the feelings for spoiler tags being utilized in this thread? Yeah, anybody can go look up the result on Sherdog but if it's a fight people don't know the finish of they might want to come into this thread not wanting to know. What should we do? Spoiler fights or maybe just spoiler-tag what the result is?

Din to WEC makes sense but I'd also love to see him up against Diaz, Berto, Noons and Edwards in EliteXC. Hironaka should have been forced to walk out of the UFC offices with the Stone of Shame dragging behind him. This, of course, is the stone forced upon those who get KO'd by Jonathan frickin' Goulet. -
Oh yeah. Dana's a businessman at the end of the day and even though it would've been nice to see 83 loaded up like 84 and 85 he needed to better alocate his bigger names.
-
Okay, I'll be more specific. UFC knew GSP in the main would sell out easily so they neglected to make anything out of the card, thus we got screwed because UFC knew they could slack and did.
-
Jeebus Crackers, Paul Taylor vs Jess Liaudin is a go for this show. 13 fights, biggest PPV in UFC history. Even though I wouldn't change that night for the world UFC really screwed over Montreal.

H & K will recoup pretty much anything missed on DVD methinks.

File Jesse Bongfelt vs TJ Grant from TKO 32 under "FOTYC's you won't hear about." Fuck this fight was sweet, awesome grappling, reversals and sub attempts with Grant especially looking great against the champion. Hadn't seen much of him before but he's for sure a guy to keep you eye on. -

Okay, let's not shit ourselves: he was FIN-ISHED against Herring, it's only due to Heaths dumbassery that he won. -
Double quarter-pounder with cheese and bacon.

Seriously. The panties, nightgown and short shots were all choice. Though it's gotta be said that while I'll never rank Elizabeth Mitchell over Lily when it comes to bodies Juliette totally surpassed Kate last night for me in terms of personality hotness.

Brian Gassaway dropped him in their fight but it's forgotten because Diego recovered quickly and took him down with an ankle pick. -
I think Hurley visiting Sun was before he saw Charlie @ the 7-11 and got locked up. That, to me is what starts everything. Causes Jack to visit him and being to worry about whether Hurley will tell about what really happened on the island.

Here's something I didn't get: Jim and Pam are clearly out in the open, both to the office and the film crew but we still get Pam trying to be coy by saying she "slept over at a friends house". Weak.

I wasn't blown away by this episode but following up on last weeks was a tall order so I wasn't expecting it to be on the same level. Some notes we can take away here.... - Hurley is getting visited by Charlie. Jack by his father. Wonder if we'll see the other members of the six getting some face time with old friends from the island? - The fact that Sawyer CHOSE to stay is, to me, HUGE. Up until this point we've all been thinking various theories regarding who's left behind on the island and why they're there. I don't think many of us banked on them getting a choice as to why they should stay but next to Locke, Sawyer makes the most sense. Hell, he told Kate that he didn't want to go back. - Miles is clearly there because of Jacob but obviously doesn't know enough about him yet otherwise he wouldn't have gone with Sawyer and Claire. Anybody else think that when Kate told Jack that she was "doing something for him" that it was Ben?
