Why don't we just start a "FAQ for new fans" thread and pin it? That way somebody doesn't waste their time on things that weren't relevant to to the questions being asked. -

Really, all Tanner has to do is hit him on the jaw. -

I imagine if Grove loses that one he's done as the Tanner fight is likely the last one on his TUF contract. -
Ah, Jill Kelly. Likely one of the first pornstars I rubbed one out to.

And quite awesome. In the span of a week Mik has already proven his mettle more then any other folder MOD.

Holeeeeeeee that was a fucking swank armbar by Marcus. Between that and the mugging he put on Caudillo I'm interested to see how he fares against higher competition within 155 because that was a serious performance. -

Well, it is Jeff Cox. Speaking of Cox I need to watch his fight against Alves in KOTC where he gets KO'd and has blood tears coming down the corner of both eyes. And he's wearing what appears to be maroon sweatpants. -

Agreed on most points. It's weird seeing peoples Facebook pages updated with "Congrats to ____ and _____". I think Corey hit the nail on the head about the partying. I wasn't really a hell-raiser during my teens but I wasn't a saint either and I now find myself in odd situations where I'm out a club or bar where I really start to feel my age and I'm only 24. -
UFC 83 - Serra vs. St. Pierre 2

Rogan OUT for this show due to pre-booking somewhere else. Ken-Flo on commentary for the whole show. Clearly Rogan is scared of the reaction GSP will get when he trounces Serra. Interesting to see how Kenny will do. -

See, the issue I have with Huerta getting a #1 contender shot is that up until the Guida fight he was fighting guys that were all making their UFC debuts and (in the case of guys like Garcia and Crane) had zero notable wins under their belt. Even with the controversies surrounding his wins Griffin went hard against Edgar and took out Guida, Tavares and Tibeau. I personally would like to see Kenny fight the winner of Huerta/Griffin as I feel that he's a step above the both of them. -

My issue in Griffin getting that shot is that Guida beat him and I can even say why people would think Tavares beat him as that fight was close as well. -

Nate would eat Crane's food and likely move into his house after he was done eating said food. -

I'd say we get Kenny vs Huerta for #1 contender sometime in August. That would draw HUGE numbers for a UFN main event but I can see UFC wanting to put it on PPV. I'd say Diaz gets Tyson Griffin or Edgar next. He already beat Maynard and while Gray's wrestling looked sharp last night I didn't see anything to make me think he'd beat Nate again. Griffin/Diaz would be dope as apparently there's beef on Nate's side regarding Tyson leaving Cesar Gracie for Xtreme Couture. And don't say there's always beef with Nate because he really had nothing but respect for Pellegrino last night. -

In regards to the stoppages I thought that Alexander's was totally legit. When you fall back with your hands stiff in the air you're done. The fans if anything need to be pissed at Houston for recovering so quickly. As for Karo it might have been a tad quick but I don't see the outcome being any different if Mazzagatti had allowed him to take another few shots. Even when Serra flash KO'd Karo he recovered quick enough but when he dropped from the knee the way he was rolling over was a clear-cut sign he was in deep trouble. Great night of fights. I was in "Oh shit it's gonna be stopped" mode when Pellegrino got the crucifix in Nate's side-mount and started hammering away and the comeback triangle at the end had me freaking out. Johnson's KO of Speer was SICK as was Florian/Lauzon. -
Nothing good? I know originally they wanted it to focus on Dwight.

Houston, TKO R1- I imagine Irvin will try and keep the distance and use his sharper kickboxing skills but Hou-A says "Uh-uh" and just bullrushes him and goes hood on him. Pellegrino, DEC- Nate is tough in all areas but I think that he's not good enough in any one place to take out Kurt. Wouldn't be surprised to see Diaz pull another quick submission out of his hat, though. Boetsch, TKO R2- Le Boetsch stuffs Hammil's takedowns and lights him up standing until he crumples. Alves, DEC- I'm torn on this one as Karo could certainly take it but I don't think he'll have an answer for Alves' leg kicks and boxing. Having said that if it's established early on that Karo can take Thiago down at will he'll grapple-rape him for three rounds. I've come to the conclusion that I can't call the main event as I just spent 5 minutes changing between Kenny and Baby Joe so I ain't pickin on that one. -

In terms of sea battles I'd really enjoy seeing a great white test its mettle against a giant squid who have taken out prey much larger then the shark. -
