Lord of The Curry replied to RavishingRickRudo's topic in Mixed Martial Arts
Why? Just because he's not fighting Gono anymore? Diego and Koscheck are coming off losses. Fitch is the hottest thing in the WW division currently. Figure it out. -

Smart decision. Koscheck shouldn't be worried about Dustin shooting on him like GSP did but Hazelett has a great guard so Josh might.....ya know....be Josh. If he looks good I'm sure it'll be their first choice for prelims to air on the live card. -
You were never meant to see that.

Correction: I got you A photo, not specifically a photo of said mother. The fact that it was her just balanced out.

Let's get some dee-skushon going on up in hyah......... Televised Card Mike Swick vs Josh Burkman (WW) Drew McFedries vs Patrick Cote (MW) Nate Diaz vs Alvin Robinson (LW) Undercard Jeremy Stephens vs Cole Miller (LW) Michihiro Omigawa vs Thiago Tavares (LW) Gray Maynard vs Dennis Siver (LW) Corey Hill vs Joe Veres (LW) Kurt Pellegrino vs Alberto Crane (LW Justin Buccholz vs Matt Wiman (LW) Fuck yes UFC. Build the little guys the fuck up. This card looks really, really good and I look forward to DL'ing the entire undercard the next day because there literally is not a fight on this card that doesn't appeal to me in some way or another.

So it seems that (according to The Fight Network) Cote won't be on the Montreal card but will be there as a French commentator for the UFC. -
How the shit was that stoppage quick? He went from slowly backing up to falling down to rolling over into the fetal position and making no attempt to move. Perfectly reasonable stoppage.

He said if the fight was offered he would take, it wasn't offered and Alves was, so he took it. It's not like he's fighting a tomato can, he's fighting another contender aswell. And although Fitch beat Alves, I believe Alves is a bigger fighter now. Fitch is the fighter getting an easier opponet, especially now that Gono pulled out. I believe Karo in him saying that he fight wasn't offered. He has no reason to lie. Although I question his confidence about fighting and beating Fitch, I doubt he would turn down a fight with him. Since his return from the suspension Alves has been on the prelims of a UFN and the undercard of a PPV whereas Fitch has taken co-main spot on a UFN and was given a high-profile fight against Diego. You're deluding yourself if you think Alves is the biggest fighter right now. Want proof? Look at Fitch and Alves. At the end of the year one of them will have challenged for the UFC welterweight title and one will not. You know which is which. -
Uh-oh. Them T-Dot boys are showing what they can do. Again, fuck the fucking Maple Leafs. Toronto needs to focus it's energy on a team that deserves the love.

Didn't see the show, looks like the undercard was very solid with an average show but fuck it- COTE!@ Montreal awaits you. -

The key part of my translation is the "title shot I think is coming to me" part, which it isn't and shouldn't be. Karo had his chance to put himself up there against Diego and he lost it and since then decisioning Fickett, Burkman and Chonan doesn't get you back in the mix. -

Regardless of how choosy he was with his words Karo's message was easy to translate: "I'm not confident fighting the best in the division because I don't want to lose out on the title shot I think is coming to me." -

No shit, Karo. You'd look like even more of a pussy if you ducked it now then before. And I think he's going to be in for a shock against Alves. It's not like that's going to be a cakewalk for him either. -
My heart is sad. I don't feel like putting any spoilers up but damn that was some intense shit.

I'm surprised that Czech and Milky didn't conference with each other before rockin' similar avs. Or maybe they did and it's all a part of their plan. -
Man, that movie he did where he played a drug addict.....Candy, yeah that's it. Fucking movie sucked which is all the more shocking given these turn of events.

I eagerly anticipate Leafs fans acting like this means a fucking lick of difference.

Miss Vickie's Jalapeno if I'm looking for a spicy chip always does the trick. Sometimes too well.

Yeah, seriously. Maybe one in ten punches he threw actually connected. The third has some of the more biased commentary in recent UFC memory and Bonnar being there to cheer on Forrest doesn't help. -
Uhhhh....not really. Brolin and Bardem for sure clock in more screen time then TLJ.
-
Ruby Dee for Supporting Actress is one of the worst nominations in a long, long time. Was on screen for about 10 minutes total and didn't do anything in that time worthy of a nod. And Josh Brolin got F'd in the A.
