CNN is sticking to its lone gunman theory but some are saying that the locations of the shootings would indicate that this was more then more person. Death tolls on various websites and channels are ranging from 21 to 28.

Slayer forgot to bring up the one kid getting shot in Taber, AB shortly after Columbine. Thought that would've been a no-brainer.

3 shootings in the span of.......20 plus years? Awesome point-making. And I didn't say it's just America. It's just mostly America.

CNN is once again busting out the awesome reporting. On the main screen it's flashed "22 Dead" and the ticker below, at the same time passed by with "1 Dead, 21 Injured."

Conspiracy? Collusion?

C word?

Fucksakes. You Yanks and your school shootings. Maybe some psycho can clap up a mall or community center for a change next time. The saddest part is that on the "Forces You Into Learning A Lesson" scale this doesn't even register.

It won't get the exposure it deserves there. This sucks.

Dr. Melphi's shrink getting screen time was interesting. If in the case of a trial a psychiatrist is called the stand, would they be able to reveal information about their clients? Because if so, NY should have their eye on Melphi in case Tony ever gets put up to trial.

Tony's cousin Tony Blundeto (played by Steve Buscemi) offed Phil's brother in Season Five and to make amends with NY Tony popped his cousin in the head with a shotgun. Seems like Phil is still catching feelings over it, though. Good epsiode, did a nice job of sowing the seeds of mistrust in Tony's head in regards to Christopher wanting to take over his spot. Really weird to see Sydney Pollack in that kind of a guest role but he did well and the interactions with Johnny were nice. Speaking of, weird to see him go in such an anticlimactic way but the scene that followed with Tony receiving the news at the Bing was tremendous, you could just see Tony looking around wondering how everybody is going to react when they found out he's gone.

Cool idea but try and work on us getting away from the wrestling folder and back in the sports folder. I'll think of something and post it up in a bit. EDIT (Tzar Lysergic): Two steps ahead of you.

Season Three, IIRC, did very well right out of the gate.

This show is doing absolute shit in the ratings. Dana's gotta be pissed considering the amount of "Best season EVER" hype he put into promoting it.

All covers albums are generally mistakes.

RANDY AND DAVID MAMET? OH SNAAAAAAAP. Best.Movie.Ever. We need some Glengarry Glen-Ross lines outta this motherfucker for Randy to deliver. -
I think what Corey said to Manny was something along the lines "I'm your homey, I'll ride with you to the zone but that's Corey Hill". Poet Warrior.
-
When I saw Emerson write the thing about Team Pulver on the wall, I thought to myself "Man, Nate isn't gonna take this well." Sure enough, right afterwards the shit hits the fan. Rudiger is a tool but the line about Nate passing the torch to Manny was perfect. The horse incident was one of the more out-of-the-blue moments in recent reality tv history. Manny is nuts and awesome and nuts. And Corey Hill using his name in third person was tremendous.

Whatever I did to piss off dubQ, it was likely worth it.

Did you go into that post thinking you'd come off like a tool or was it just a natural progression of things?

Rosseau is batshit insane and I still think that she's an Other who went AWOL a long time ago so I'm not sure that Alex is even her kid.

Is it that much to ask to fucking place a spoiler tag over it? Some people, believe it or not, don't want to find out who certain episodes are based around. And don't lie and say that it's going to be a Juliet episode because you know that's not the case.
-
Uh.........spoiler alert?
-
I can see how Juliet would know about Sayid's past as it wouldn't be something left out of a file like his. I'm more curious as to how she knew about Sawyer killing the Wrong Sawyer. He was, IIRC, booted out of Australia because he headbutted the Minister of Fisheries in a bar and was deported for it but never arrested for the murder of shrimp dude. And I don't think it's simply cancer that the island cures, Locke wasn't sick and he can walk again and Jin isn't shooting blanks anymore. It cures everything. Everything, of course except for Ben. Good point by Spiff about Ben saying he was born on the island, I hadn't even thought of that which makes me all the more stoked to see the Ben flashback when it happens. I am a little bent that we saw zero Desmond/Juliet interactions, though. You'd think somebody in Desmonds shoes would have the most questions out of everybody on the beach. So, what's The Others endgame? Juliet saving Claire was a means towards an end, something to gain their trust but it wasn't why she was placed undercover and we didn't hear Ben say anything. Not a big one by any means, just revealing who next week is about.....
-
I cannot fucking believe that people 'net-wide are calling this episode simply "alright" or even "good" because it revealed a goddamn mountain of information. The island, the Dharma Initiative, the Others, so much payoff. I actually like Juliette as a character too so I enjoyed all the flashbacks plus seeing Calamity Jane again was cool. Stupid Sayid and Sawyer. I can only hope they get a shot at redemption.

If Jordin KO's Seacrest with a high kick I'll move to America just to vote for her.
