That's gotta be considered disappointing numbers for Grindhouse, considering the love Quentin and Rodgriguez get.

70 should rock, Cro-Cop has a giant target in Gonzaga's head, Sinosic usually turns in a good show as does Bisping, Arlovski/Werdum has ranking ramifications and a likely title shot down the road for the winner and we get some LYOTO on free tv.

What an awesome picture. -
Yeah because dropping two straight earns you a title shot.

So........in two fights Soko has placed himself handily in the top ten LHW's. Jesus. Sucks that he'll never get a shot so long as Henderson is champion. -
Chuck already broke the All Access curse back in December when he got profiled and then beat Tito.

Yeah, he looks like he'd be a natural athlete.

I'm picking Diego based on the following..... 1) Koscheck hasn't fought a guy who will push the pace like Diego will and I can see Josh gassing 2) Diego is great off his back and even better at scrambling out of the bad positions Josh will most likely put him in 3) In the Joslin fight Koscheck almost got caught with a triangle and I can see Diego winning in similar fashion 4) While I won't go as far as to say his chin is weak, Koscheck has shown an unwillingness to strike with people and doesn't have good composure when it comes to striking, which is to say that if Diego hits him with a good shot, he'll show it and Diego will capitalize. Having said that, if Koscheck decides to welch on the whole "I'm not a blanket, I'll finish him" thingy, K-os wins this handily.

I look forward to seeing Carla Gugino's spectacular set of tits populate the screen come Sunday. And I said it in CWDWAT but GODDAMN was Piven coked up on Leno on Friday night.

Yeah, the amount of people saying that their first fight was "close" is fucking ridiculous. People who say that need to actually step back and watch the fight. Or, better yet, look at the fighters at the end of it and try and tell me that it was anything resembling a close fight. I'm actually kinda worried that this fight could self-destruct and become almost a carbon copy of Diego's fight against John Allessio. In that fight Diego was constantly trying to take Allesio down and more often then not wasn't successful and when he did get him down he couldn't do much with it. Diego took the decison but the crowd shit all over him and I can very much see the same thing happening here. I don't think Diego can stop Koscheck's takedowns but I can see his guard keeping Josh close and forcing stand-up after stand-up. But that will be enough for Koscheck to take the fight and if he wins that way the crowd will likely react in the same way.

Your evidence that he has a good work ethic is based on......what? The clip of him all sweaty and yelling? Them long-ass limbs sure make it easier for somebody to tap him out.
-
Tony isn't really all that badass if you step back and take a look at the shit that Chrissie, Paulie and Silvio have all done. Passing out while junked out of your mind and sitting on your bitches rat dog? Bad-fuckin-ass.

When mmmBop hit there was a guy in school who was caught remarking how the lead singer was hot. 4 years later at graduation and people were still giving him shit about it.

You're really up on Corey Hills jock when there is absolutely no reason to be.

If "here to stay" equates to "declining year by year until it's off the map and only recognizable by old-school fans" then yeah, it's gonna be around for a while. MMA, not UFC, is my boyfriend.

We watched a video of a couple in bed with the young guy awkwardly fumbling to put the condom on beneath the sheets. The class, up until that point was pretty under control until somebody near the back shouted out "Bitch needs to put that shit on with her mouth!" and then it was more or less chaos.

So much truth. Ok, maybe not 5 years but boxing is dying and everybody and their moms knows it. And for Lloyd to come out with a quote like that when UFC is reaching a fever-pitch in terms of popularity is both retarded AND desperate.
-
I'm actually looking forward to Oscar getting his shit pushed in but goddamn, Mayweather has the Dumbass Quote of The Moment going on. "UFC ain't shit. It ain't but a fad. These are guys who couldn't make it in boxing. So they do mixed martial arts. Boxing is the best sport in the world and it's here to stay." Lollers. When you're main-eventing casinos in Connecticut for peanuts in 5 years, try and rifle off the same goodness, Pretty.

Sweet mother of God was Jeremy Piven coked out of his mind on Leno last night. He was all over the place with his words and told a story about being invited back to a Professors house for dinner when he was studying theatre in London that went nowhere and at the end of it all he said was "You can't be in your own way" and Leno looked confused as fuck. Jenna Fischer, by contrast, came off as a fucking superstar. Not too many female actresses can make me laugh out loud but she's one of them. -
So, it's today. And for the first time in......I dunno.......a while, I shouldn't be nervous about GSP fighting. But I still am. Until I see Yoda dead on the mat, I'll be freaking out. And good gravy Diego/Koscheck is going to blow the roof off the bar tonight.

I love the show, it's had its ups and downs lately (mainly downs) but I don't think there's a way they can end this show that'll send people home happy. Tony lives, people are going to bitch. Tony dies, people are going to bitch. This is similar to the finale of Seinfeld in a lot of ways in terms of peoples expectations and the show not being able to live up to all of them.

Really? A lot of people (and mind you, this is the internet) are touting Rudiger, Lauzon and Wiman as the guys to beat in this and they're all on Penn's team.

Just finished watching it and goddamn that's some good stuff. The ending montage was heartbreaking, I loved the small touch of Julien visiting Lem's grave, they weren't portrayed as best buddies or anything but it hammers home the idea that Julien is one of the better people in The Barn. Is Ronnie becoming an alcoholic? To my best knowledge this was the first time we've ever gotten a scene of just Ronnie alone doing his own thing and I doubt it's just random that he was found in a bar. Shane banging Antwons hood-rat was not a shock at all. That crime scene with the cats? Wow. I actually said "Oh my God" out loud when Dutch turned the lights on. Are we to assume that Kavanaugh is going to run the serial numbers on the money he stole from Vic's place to try and tie him to the money train?
