If they had intentions of trying to rebuild Forrest as a contender they certainly wouldn't be giving him this fight. Anybody who's holding out for a Diaz/Gomi title fight in April is going to have to hold off until at least June or July. Diaz's right cheekbone is broken and he's on medical suspension until around then.

NBC really needs to stop marketing shows around who produced/wrote for them instead of the plot or characters. They cursed Studio 60 before it even aired with that abortion of a campaign and they did it here too.

Leslie Hunt is cute and enjoys Feist and Radiohead. Clearly her level of taste is too high to be on this show so she'll be gone soon.

Up until this point we're being lead to believe that the bucks stops with HRG and Eric Roberts so the person pulling the strings on the Haitian is A) Either somebody higher up that we haven't met yet or B) Somebody outside the company who holds some influence. Nathan has the money and power to buy off people at will and The Haitian could be one of those people. I'd need to rewatch the episode but when HRG gets upset at the Haitian for not erasing Claire's memory he (the Haitian) makes a comment about his orders coming from somebody who cares more for Claire then he does. I could be wrong but the comment seemed personal which made me think of Nathan. How about next weeks show? Simone is......uh........not dead? And Lushus, it doesn't matter what I can or cannot see. Tag it the next time. We all aren't experts at recognizing peoples fucking haircuts.

I was personally hoping that Eric Roberts would be Linderman. So who does the Haitian work for that this persons orders override HRG? Nathan would be the first guess on this one.

If you're going to avoid a show based on that then you were never going to give it a chance in the first place. Turns avs and sigs off if it bothers you so much.

My one and only experience with Asian tourists came on a family trip to B.C in 1997 when he was crossing the Capilano Suspension Bridge and the Asians thought it would be fun to start jumping up and down on the bridge, jabbering in Mandarin, caring nothing for the fact that they were scaring the living shit out of everybody else crossing the bridge at the time. As a child I thought it was funny but if that happened to me now I'd be pissed.

Fuck that ending. I could give two shits about Wayne being alive (even though he grew a pair in this episode) but I'll be fucking PISSED if Assad is dead. I think he survives only because they him around to tell the President about the bomb going off. I'm assuming that nobody outside Assad and Wayne survived because otherwise Assad would have an alibi that he was no the bomber. Overall a solid if unspectacular episode. I hate the Boozy Morris storyline because the only place it will lead is going to be Morris fucking something up big time and him getting let go and possibly killing himself. The interactions with Bauer, Logan and the Russian Consul next week should be fun.

And then they all go to Clifton Hill, buy some saltwater taffy and NEVER LEAVE A TIP.

That ending was absolutely heartbreaking in every sense of the word. That episode did in one hour what Lost couldn't do in an entire season: resolve old conflicts and answer old questions while creating new ones. Should be interesting to see what happens to Claire and The Haitian and who The Haitian answers to.

Another factor to consider in this fight is the size being pretty much equal. As much as I hate to quote Tim Sylvia here, Arlovski bullies people around because in most of his fights he enjoys a height, reach and weight advantage over his opponents but Werdum is 6'4 and weighs-in at around 240 so it's going to be interesting to see how Andrei deals with that.

Immigrants who complain about the country they now live in, as opposed to the shittacular war and poverty zone they just fled.

Yeah, Werdum has competent hands but I don't think he wants to mix it up with Arlovski. I'm not sure that you can say "Arlovski is too good to be caught" as even in the PDP fight he exposed his legs while on the ground which, for a Sambo guy especially is a dumbshit move. Plus we've never really seen Arlovski on the ground for more then a few seconds at a time and we've never seen him put in a position like mount or back mount with somebody like Werdum's grappling skills.

I won't spoil anything but holy fuck this was an awesome, awesome episode. Top five of the season so far without a doubt.

Man, if you didn't get misty-eyed at Whitakers speech you don't have a soul. MARTY. Good show, though I think Jackie Earle Haley and Eddie got fucked over on the BSA.

Gee Christ. This was a great, great movie. Super-great. I saw him in Murder By Numbers and didn't think he was that bad and I wasn't totally opposed to The Notebook either but I felt it did him more harm then good but in this movie Ryan Gosling realizes his potential and delivers a five-star performance. There isn't a wasted moment or motion in his performance and he captivates the screen better then any recent performance by a young actor that I can think of or anybody else would care to name. But unfortunately he had to share screen time with a young actress name Shareeka Epps who lives up to his performance, if not eclipsing it. The story for those who don't know is about a young junior-high teacher in Brooklyn who teaches history. He's also a crack addict and one day one of his students (Epps) catches him fixing. What follows is a strangely fascinating relationship between two people who are affected by the drug trade and it's effects on their environment. I haven't seen any of the other films in Best Actor but this Sunday I'm gonna be hoping Gosling somehow pulls up the massive upset and takes it. And after seeing this movie I can't give two shits about Jennifer Hudson OR Helen Mirren for that matter because Epps slayed the female acting market in 2006 with this beauty. Go fucking see it. For reals.

I'd be remiss to point out that Broken Social Scene providing the soundtrack for this movie definetly didn't hurt it in my eyes. I don't think I'll ever be able to listen to 'Shampoo Suicide' without thinking of Drey delivering the rocks to Dan at the motel. Speaking of, that's maybe the best scene in the movie because as a viewer we're waiting for the feel-good moment where Dan renounces his habit and realizes what it's doing to him and Drey and this was one of those moments where you felt it coming. But no. He gives her the cash and she leaves. Great stuff.

Hendo shouldn't have made that crack about Wandy being in the hospital. You done pissed off Shogun and that's probably the worst possible thing you could do. It's not like Shogun didn't want to kill you before but now? Gump is a dead man.

I think the whole "This is our work island, that is our home island" thingy was supposed to be a big reveal but it certainly didn't come off that way.
