I should've told you to ask her to tell you a Creed story. I'm sure there's dozens of them.

PRIDE 33- The Second Coming
Lord of The Curry replied to Lord of The Curry's topic in Mixed Martial Arts
PRIDE President Nobuyuki Sakikabara said at the post-show press conference that there's a very good chance that on the April 28th PRIDE show in Vegas we'll see Gomi rematch Diaz for the belt. Then again, PRIDE is supposed to be running a LW Grand Prix later this year so I'm not sure how things will work out. Either way, after two losses and a split decison victory in the last year it's safe to say that Gomi is no longer the #1 ranked LW in the world. Sakurai, Aoki or Melendez would have to take that spot now. -
SNL performance?

PRIDE 33- The Second Coming

That was one of the best shows in a long, long time. Like, UFC 58 good. Since about then. There has never, ever in the history of MMA been a show where three weight classes were seemingly upset up unranked fighters. Sokodjou, Diaz and Henderson just totally turned the Mixed Martial Arts world on its head. Holy fuck what a show. - Hansen/Ireland was a great choice for the opener as it went at a good pace and showcased Irelands toughness and Hansens awesomeness. Great transitions to the finisher. - Trigg could even be counted as the fourth biggest upset on this show as he was a fringe top-tenner before the event and took out a definite top 10 fighter in Misaki. Good for Frank but what does that say about what GSP could to to the PRIDE 183 div. ? - Wiuff was going to lose, either to Nakamura or the dude who replaced him. - Holy Fuck #1. I've never, EVER seen a Nog treated like that. It was almost hard to watch. Goddamn Team Quest. - Damn good fight in Sakurai/Danzig with Sakurai showing that he's got some of the best, if not the best leg kicks in the game. Gully finish to boot. - Doughy Kharaitonov makes me sad with his limited ground game and sloppy subs. - SHOGUN. More on this later. But, SHOGUN. - Holy Fuck #2. Gomi/Diaz rocks our socks off for the first round as we realize that Gomi unquestionably undertrained for this fight and struggles as Diaz jabs him into a serious hurtin'. Balls out shit with Gomi knocking Diaz down and the round finishing with Diaz looking better. Then Gomi plays right into the hands of the Gogoplata and it's buh-bye. The rubber guard is probably the Hot Technique of 2007 so far, if you include Aoki's beauty on NYE. - Holy Fuck #3. Great, great fight even before the finish but when it happened it was like a bomb had been dropped. This was not the same Wanderlei as the one who killed Sakuraba, Rampage and many others. I don't know what the future holds for him. But I do know what the future holds for Henderson. SHOGUN. The king is finally stepping up to the throne. Get your quality time in with the belt, Dan. -

So yeah, it's on tonight and it's very, very sad that nobody cares because this card smokes the last two UFC shows. Hansen/Ireland, Gomi/Diaz, Shogun/Overeem and Hendo/Silva should all be great fun. -

Hey barron, was Arcade Fire at the dress?

I'm not sure if Jim appreciated the ball-busting. I mean, he was laughing and stuff but I think there was some frustration there too.

MMA Comments that Don't Warrant a Thread

Overeem fans everywhere are banding together to ensure that I hate him. The amount of people picking Overeem in this fight is nuts. Do they not know that Shogun put a serious hurtin' on Overeem before? -
Jim might have some seriously built-up anger towards Roy so I can see this being the one time that he nuts up and does something. I'd also enjoy seeing Dwight interfere on Jim's behalf and possibly KO'ing Roy with some sort of karate maneuver. Jim having to live with the knowledge that Dwight saved him would be tremendous.
-
So, how does everybody see Jim vs Roy going down? My scenario is Roy barging in on the entire office and confronting Jim about his feelings. Jim is obviously uncomfortable with Karen being there but he's not going to let Roy talk him down so he stands up for himself by making Roy look like he is completely clueless as to who Pam really is. Roy cold-cocks Jim and gets fired and Karen gets freaked the fuck out by Jim and maybe/maybe not breaks up with him.

Purple monkey dishwasher.

I'm a bit disappointed that we didn't get to see the personal hell that Ryan is now living through near Kelly but overall it was a very solid episode with some serious LOL moments. - Dwight popping up from the backseat and in the rocking chair - CREED MOTHERFUCKING BRATTON. - 40 Year Old Virgin gets a shout-out with the magic camp reference - Roy's freak-out, capped off by Kenny smashing the barstool - Toby being reminded that he has a daughter I can't be the only one thinking that the CFO was going to offer Jim Michael's job when they were out shooting hoops.

Have at it. The dude who plays Graham was on ER at the time. And Mandy was given Presidential Immunity in Season Four so her photo, info etc. are all on file with the gov't.
-
Mandy was definetly NOT talking to Graham on the phone. And I think that somebody, anybody would notice the fact that somebody who attempted to kill President Palmer just strolled right into their bunker like nothing was going on.
-
No fucking way. Like, 100% no fucking way it's Mandy. In fact, it's wishful thinking but beyond stupid for people to even believe that it could be her.

Until we find out how Locke got in his wheelchair I'm saying the flashbacks have a purpose. And until we get a Ben flashback about what he was doing in Season Two when Rosseau captured him. And I loved last night. Complete opposite reaction from last weeks episode.

So once again, you are nominated for an Academy Award, okay?

Man, this is some pathetic dedication and work. -
Maybe because most Muslims don't. But keep up the chatter.

Mohinder is pretty much the dumbest genius ever.

I think 24 has shown us that anybody is capable of murder. I mean, if Chloe can bust out the AK and go house on somebody, anyone can.
-
No. I'd hold the world hostage.

It better not be that smarmy bitch Miles from season five.
