I'm almost pissed off enough at Randy for coming back that I want him to get murdered in a really brutal fashion. Then I remember he's facing Tim Sylvia and my anger for Randy is overridden by my anger for Sylvia being such a shitty champion.
-
Randy's reaction time was visibly slower in the Van Arsdale and Chuck fights and even though Sylvia is slower then those guys I think Randy is going to struggle with getting inside on Tim long enough to grab a leg or get the clinch. His only real hope is circling on the outside in the first few rounds with the occasional leg kick and counter-punch mixed in and hopes that Sylvia wears himself out from all the jabs he'll no doubt be throwing. People will point to Sylvia going 5 rounds with Monson as proof of his gas tank but Randy will push a very high pace and it'll be very interesting to see how Tim responds to it. Having said that, Sylvia, KO R3. Sorry, Randy. Cro-Cop beating Tim by KO will be for the best.

Like Edwin said.......that ending. Hoo-boy. Grimy bearded Logan should be a treat next week. And I am very much anticipating the arrival of Reeds inside man. I'm trying to think of evil Gov't figures in the past few seasons that have been off the radar but I'm drawing a blank.

I can't even fathom how anybody could consider the episode just "decent". Sure, it started off slowly but when it picked up it never stopped. - Peter ran that entire thing, back to front. Using the telekinesis to stop Claude from whacking him with the staff and preventing the stun gun prods from getting to him had me freaking the fuck out. Him throwing Claude off the roof and flying after him was the icing on the cake. - I like the gal who can manipulate electronic signatures. Her and Nukie make a good team and with Parkman added to the mix next weeks interrogation of HRG should be very interesting. - If Peter hadn't brought the awesome that episode would've been Sylars. Can he call upon past powers like Peter or is he stuck with the one he last absorbs? - Hiro's powers coming back (and then some) was a mark-out moment. - The revelation that those with abilities can be tracked once they've been implanted with the isotope was a pretty big one. I do not, however, like the idea of them ripping off X-Men with the whole "cure" storyline that Mohinder mentioned.

You'd have to tell us how you view rankings. I think Shogun taking out Rampage, Rogerio, Overeem and Arona in less then a year bests Chuck's victories over Horn, Randy, Babalu and Tito in the past two. There also needs to be consideration paid to the fact that Shogun was unranked in the top ten before the MW Grand Prix and by the time it was over he was a legit top five 205'er. I think Shogun has also looked better in victory then Chuck, he smashed the fuck out of three of the four opponents he faced and handed Nog his first ever MMA loss. You can also argue that Shogun has faced much tougher competition in his short career whereas Chuck took out a bloated Horn, a past-his-prime Couture and a guy with a dumbshit gameplan in Babalu. People consider the Tito victory impressive but Tito didn't do anything of note before he got his title shot. All of the guys Shogun took out were easily top tenners and in the case of Rogerio and Arona, top fivers. If you want to do a point-by-point analysis of their respective disciplines, Shogun is overall the more complete fighter but it's a moot point because Chuck is more or less a kickboxer whereas Shogun can bring it on every level. Wow, my Shogun love is really shining through here. I don't care, I've been saying (not necessarily around here) that if Shogun and Chuck faced off Shogun would fuck his shit up. A lot of people have been slowly falling off the Shogun bandwagon after his performance against Nakamura on NYE but I'm still up ons. -
Godfuckindammit.

Best EVER? You'd seriously put that episode up against Deus Ex Machina or Confidence Man?

I'm kinda bent that John Vito and Jill got taken out so early, simply because I wanted to see the JV vs Rob feud kick into high gear. -
Wood Harris said in an interview recently that you're going to see Avon at least once in Season Five before it's all said and done.

The non-midget member of Team Midget looks like she's had implants put in since the last time. If Rob and Amber don't take this then they should be very, very ashamed. This is probably the weakest lineup in a long time and the fact that it's the All-Star Edition is laughable. -
That entire season is going to be one giant-ass buildup to Who Gets To Kill Marlo?

Uychenna and Joyce are my *ahem* dark horse pick to take it. I just hate the idea of them winning again. -

I don't think you can really say that seeing as how we've yet to see Vera face off against a really good wrestler. O'Brien is a big dude as well whereas Brandon could easily be fighting at 205 so Vera will also have to deal with a size disadvantage. -
Audrey's interrogation in Season 5 of 24 was pretty intense shit, 'specially after J.B ran up in there and called that shit off. Shane threatening to rape the girlfriend of the guy who shot Vic unless she gave him up was tits.
-
Season Four is perfectly set up with the combination of the Prop Joe Co-Op vs Marlo and Co w/ Stavros the Greek being involved somehow. They, of course, also have to deal with Team Freamon which will be bomb. I also look forward to Dook doing some bashful and aw-shucks style slangin' on the corner. He seems like he'd be an intelligent hustler.

I thought B at first, but thinking back there's no logical reason to do it. CroCop could lose and if he ever touched the mic he'd probably plug the Showtime show or something. Better off just making him sit it out while most fans forget he ever existed. Rumours are now pointing to Vera fighting Jake O'Brien at an event TBD. It'll most likely be a prelim that way if O'Brien does what UFC hopes and pulls it out they can show the fight and if Vera takes it they'll quietly ignore the whole thing. -
Apatows next movie, unless I'm mistaken is starring Anna Farris and it's a comedy about a girl who eats a batch of her roomates pot brownies and trips out.

In his debut column on UFC.com Bisping says that he wasn't impressed by Rampage and would give him a five out of ten for his performance. Not sure if Rampage is a dude you want harboring a grudge against you but that would be a good fight no doubt. -
Wonder if they're ever going to, ya know, mention why Andy hasn't been around the last three episodes?

Kevin Randleman and Thiago Alves's suspensions were handed down today by the NSAC. Randleman was stripped of his fighters license and fined $5000. He can re-apply to the Athletic Commission in one year and must prove that he's healthy and roid-free. Expect Randleman to announce his retirement soon enough. Alves was fined $5500 and is out for 8 months but nothing happened to his license. On a side-note from that Gilbert Yvel was denied a fighters license by the NSAC due to his history of abusing refs, verbally and physically. This kills his scheduled fight with Sergei Kharitonov that was supposed to take place at PRIDE: Second Coming this month in Vegas. No replacement for Gilbert has been announced. -
Bitch please. Two words: SEX PANTHER

Prediction: Ryan's career gets some unexpected upward mobility and he makes his first sale very soon.

That was tremendous stuff. I thought they fired on all cyclinders and managed to have everybody get their moments in. I think that's gotta be the most amount of time Creed has ever been on screen. Poor Toby.
