As far as I'm concerned somebody who's put in for DUI is an attempted murderer and deserves to have a train run on them by a well-endowed inmate. Something minor like petty larceny or weed is one thing but drunk drivers are pieces of shit that deserve the worst punishment possible.

I hate Randy for coming back. I really, honestly do because he's given me hope that he can beat Sylvia and hope is a very dangerous thing to have, especially when Tim Sylvia losing his belt is concerned.

Lennox dies before he can warn Palmer about the plot against him. Bet on that shit.

PRIDE 33- The Second Coming
Lord of The Curry replied to Lord of The Curry's topic in Mixed Martial Arts
Wanderlei is more known internationally and has a larger fanbase in the states then Fedor and they managed to do alright with him in the main event. Add in Shogun returning against a quality opponent (as opposed to Randleman) and Vegas regulars like Diaz, Trigg and Danzig along with Gomi's USA debut and I think you've got the makings of a very solid card. I highly doubt that if attendance is poor PRIDE officials will sit around punching each other for not making nearly enough casino cards. -
Yeah, by "wows" I meant basically what you said. I could see something whacky happening in the end like Michael gets invited to a frat party and Ryan doesn't.
-
For everything that Michael fucks up it's been hammered home pretty well that he's a really good salesman so I expect him to wow Ryans class. And follow it up by making a sexually suggestive remark about his and Ryans relationship.

I'm w/ Bobby here, there were some alright moments but that was pretty bad. This episode scared me because it was eerily reminiscent of the Frank Grimes episode of The Simpsons because that's one of the turning points of the series where Homer just became a complete dumbass. That's how I saw Michael tonight. I hope he somehow gets back into "form" in the coming weeks because if this is an actual storyline they're attempting then it's going to fucking suck. Dwight and Angela dancing was one of the more warm n' fuzzy Office moments in a while. And even though credit must be given to R. Howard for the assist Toby stole the whole shebang at the end.

Expect UFC to counter by A) Sitting Vera out for the entire year and then cutting him or B) Making his last fight on his contract against Cro-Cop. Either way, stupid move by Vera as it seems he bought into his own hype and got in way over his head. -

TKO Road Report....... - Patry will be supporting the motion filed by Shaun Tomkins and Marc Hominick with the Quebec Athletic Commission to have the decison against Hioki overturned. Hioki and his corner flat-out admitted to Patry and Shaun that they thought that Marc won the fight and were preparing themselves to turn over the belt to Hominick when the decison was read. I doubt that the decison will be overturned but the filing is justified. I'm gonna order the show when it airs on PPV this Saturday because it might look different but I was sitting 8 rows up from the cage and if anything won the fight for Marc it was his agression in the final three rounds, him being suitably tooled on his feet with leg kicks for the first two. Cell, Hioki attempted three of four sloppy singles in the last two rounds but Hominick avoided/ran. The only clearly defined rounds were the first three, one and two going to Hioki and the third to Marc. Tough fight either way. - There is absolutely no question that the Goulet fight is going to be overturned and ruled a No Contest. The referee allowed Goulet at least another ten seconds of time after the bell and it was obvious to everybody in the crowd except for him because Schulte's corner was frantically screaming at him from their side of the cage that the round was over. He'll most likely plead that he didn't hear the bell over the roar of the crowd (which, to be fair was quite loud) but it's still no excuse for poor officiating. This is also the only fight that's ever been stood up when a fighter has another fighters back with a body triangle solidly locked on. I'm not sure who Goulet is paying off at the Quebec Athletic Commission but between this fight and him getting gifted a decison over Joslin he's looking pretty shady. - Holanda/Stout was a tremendous battle on one hand but ridiculously frustrating on the other. I'm not gonna disagree with anything that Cell says about Stouts skills but he should be flat-out embarassed that he was getting put on his back by takedowns that shitty and for Fabio to not be in shape for a title fight is unacceptable. Definitely worth checking out though as there were quite a few moments where I thought Fabio was going to break Stouts arm but he hung tough. This hasn't been widely reported but it's worth noting that the second round also finished a minute early. - Ran into GSP (who looks pimpin' with the gold) and he said he'll be 100% in a week or two. - Chris Clements is going to turn some heads very soon. Very solid chin, capable on the ground and has KO power in both hands. With some more refined standup and another win or two in TKO he'll have other promotions knocking on his door. Next show is on June 1st with Goulet/Vigneault for the WW Title scheduled but that could change depending on the Schulte decison. -
By extension of that you're blaming the entire WWE Folder. Which is totally cool. Just sayin'.

I really hope that Lennox isn't the Big Evil Government Figure of this season because 1) He's not evil nor intimidating enough to pull it off and 2) He's pretty much been a roadblock for Karen and Palmer since the get-go and for them to not switch things up would be going against the rules of 24. I can see him having a boss that he answers to but I really hope it isn't the Vice-Prez. I'm far too used to seeing Powers Boothe be Badass Evil on Deadwood, I'd like to see how he tries Badass Good on this show.

So, Frigid just started this thread to make himself feel better. My question is why Fridge, why?

This thread probably has the greatest drop-off ratio of posters compared to how many were all up ons Lost when it first aired. Fucking writers and fucking Abrams.

I really enjoyed the Haywire scene, for what it's worth. Mahone realized that taking Haymore into custody, processing him through the system would be far too much trouble given what the end result would be so he cut through the bullshit and gave Haywire what he wanted. Oh, and C-Note is the man. Episode MVP, followed by Kellerman who's slowly becoming my favorite character on the whole show.

Where the fuck is Assad? On a charter to D.C still? I guess timeline-wise it would make sense that he'd be gone for a few episodes but his presence is seriously needed right now.

PRIDE 33- The Second Coming

Joachim Hansen (!~~!~!) vs Jason Ireland is on for the show. I'm stoked based on the fact that I've only see one Ireland fight and it was a kick-ass brawl and Hansen always delivers. -
Main Event for the UFC Middleweight Championship Anderson Silva (Champion) vs Travis Lutter (Challenger) Main Card Quinton "Rampage" Jackson vs Marvin "The Beastman" Eastman Mirko "Cro-Cop" Filipovic vs Eddie Sanchez Melvin "The Young Assasain" Guillard vs Dustin Hazelett Scott Smith vs Patrick Cote (likely the swing bout) Undercard Jorge "El Conquistador" Rivera vs Terry Martin Tyson Griffin vs Frank Edgar Lyoto Machida vs Sam Hoger Roger Huerta vs John Alverston It really sucks that GSP got injured as it took a lot of hype away from this show. I still think it'll be a good card as we've got 3 LW fights, the debuts of Mirko and Quinton and what should be a grimy slugfest in Cote/Smith. The only question mark on the show is actually the main event. I'm sure this was going to be the co-main with GSP/Serra on top while the fight was still on and now the UFC is faced with a dangerous fight. Anderson Silva is defending his title for the very first time against the worst kind of opponent, one who is steady and consistent but also content to ride out a decison victory. Lutter chin hasn't been tested and that isn't because he's faced strikers before but because he knows his strengths and plays to them. The story on Silva/Lutter is a fairly simple sell: Anderson wants to knock Travis out, Travis wants to tap Anderson out. There's a huge amount of pressure on both guys to perform now that they're in the main event and it'll be interesting to see how they both fare.

Okami cut to 175 for the ROTR tourney, I think he could make 170. -
I'm not sure how Nessica fits into Lindermans plans but I agree on Hiro.

"They refused to comment on whether the laser can go through glass". Why? -
I think the reasoning behind Graeme's killing is so that Jack has a reason to go visit Logan. So long as Graeme was alive and snitchin' there was no reason to involve Logan in the whole mess, now there is.

I'm surprised with the Linderman twist in the Nessica storyline, I figured we'd get to see DL use his wall-walking combined with Micah's electronic-frying capabilities to break her out of the looney bin. I like how the show manages to put a lot of the characters in the same place at the same time (Odessa, NYC, L.A) and still make them feel really far apart. We know that next week Hiro and Ando head back to Vegas but eventually everybody makes their way to NYC. Vegas- DL, Micah, Nikki, Linderman, soon to be Hiro and Ando Texas- Sylar, HRG, Claire, Claire's Moms, Haitian L.A- Parkman all by his lonesome NYC- Peter, Nathan, Issac, Claude, Simone Where's Nuke Dude at right now?

Yeah, Swick faded like a motherfucker against Loiseau in the third round, if Okami can wear him down in the first two I can see him finishing him in the final.
