The Amazing Race: 10 Edition
Lord of The Curry replied to Spaceman Spiff's topic in Television & Film
I had a flashback to Colin and Christie on the bus in India a few years back and Christie telling Colin "Don't let anybody touch me". Kim said the same thing to Rob last night. -

Shogun, clinch knee KO ala Rampage. -
Both guys know what others think of them so hopefully that'll provide some motivation for them to.....ya know.....not bore the crowd to death. The real question is whether or not UFC will risk putting that on live or relegate it to undercard?

We have five title fights scheduled to go down before NYE so on January 1st 2007 where do you see the UFC at? Who will be around? Who should they get rid of? Who should be built up? I'll post a roster of each division with about 10 or so guys beneath the champ so people can rank a top five as I'd be interested to see where certain fighters stand. I'm also wondering on who people see the then-champs defending their title against. LW Division: Current Champ- Unknown, to be decided by winner of Sherk/Florian at UFC 64. Roster includes: Jens Pulver, Joe Lauzon, Joe Stevenson, Spencer Fisher, Mark Hominick, Melvin Guillard, Hermes Franca, Sam Stout, Tyson Griffin. WW Division: Current Champ- Matt Hughes. Roster includes: Georges St. Pierre, Diego Sanchez, Karo Parysian, Jon Fitch, Josh Koscheck, Joe Riggs, BJ Penn (?), Josh Burkman, Nick Diaz, Josh Neer. MW Division: Current Champ- Rich Franklin. Roster includes: Anderson Silva, Nathan Marquadt, Mike Swick, David Loiseau, Dave Terrell, Chris Leben, Kendall Grove, Ed Herman, Dean Lister. LHW Division: Current Champ- Chuck Liddell. Roster includes: Tito Ortiz, Forrest Griffin, Rashad Evans, Jason Lambert, Keith Jardine, Matt Hamill, Renato Sobral, Stephan Bonnar, Michael Bisping. HW Division: Current Champ- Tim Sylvia. Roster includes: Jeff Monson, Andrei Arlovski, Brandon Vera, Frank Mir, Chieck Kongo, Assureio Silva, Dan Christonson, Marcio Cruz, Gabriel Gonzaga. Upcoming Title Fights UFC 64: Rich Franklin vs Anderson Silva, MW Title. Kenny Florian vs Sean Sherk, Vacant LW Title. UFC 65: Tim Sylvia vs Jeff Monson, HW Title. UFC 66: Chuck Liddell vs Tito Ortiz, LHW Title. St. Pierre vs Hughes will be happening before the year is out but it's unclear right now as to where/when. Most rumours are putting it as the co-main on the NYE show behind Tito/Chuck but I could see them bumping it to UFC 65 in November as Sylvia/Monson will not sell PPV's or tickets on its own. Discuss!~

Jan Levinson (no.....no....no Gould) would trump 'em both.

Yeah, Peter is definetly making a go of taking the "Hugest Douche in AmRace History" trophy. -
One of my friends last night made a good comment re: Silva facing the TUF winner: "That's supposed to be your reward?"
-
Lister will need at least another two fights under his belt before he's ready. Dana said at the press conference that he'd like to see Swick fight once more before he's ready for a title shot. Silva will be tied up with Swick, maybe Marquadt, the TUF winner and a possible Franklin rematch in 2007, I don't see Dean fitting in on the UFC's list of priorities.
-
Yeah, I'm not at all seeing how Salaverry could take Silva at this point.
-
GSP's first title defense being in Montreal makes too much sense so of course it won't happen.
-
Phew.....I was gonna say, isn't there a certain Russian we should be praising right now? Watched the post-show press conference today on TFN, Dana mentioned that TUF V is going to be all 155'ers and that he's not interested in new talent. Said they were looking for the cream of the crop to build the division around and produce contenders. Mentioned they have 5 shows planned for The U.K in 2007 and that in three years he expects they'll be the most dominant global fight promotion.
-
Yeah but two of those losses were due to submissions that rarely get pulled out and get a tapout less then that. But don't think Franklin didn't want to try a flying heel hook or topside triangle.
-
The Others have to know about the islands healing powers somehow. If not then I can see them being very interested in talking to Locke and (if they ever found out) Rose.
-
Recent knees and kicks have bumped this bad boy. New champion at MW and a division full of challengers...... I think we'll see either Swick vs Silva or Marquadt vs Silva for Andersons first title defense.
-
They have no excuse to not bring in Lindland now. Bite the bullet, Dana.

I think he could take him standing, actually. In the brief exchanges he had with Cyborg Nishijima didn't impress all that much, not sure if the Hunt fight was a red herring or not but Phil can win this fight pretty much anywhere. Holy fuck I just made a post supporting Phil Baroni. -
snuffbox on banky was a good moment while it lasted.
-
Yul, Cao Boi and Ozzy are the only three I give a shit about at this point.
-
I like her. And we both love The Office so she actually referred to it as my "Jim moment".
-
Nobody cares but I pulled a Jim on a co-worker last night. Without the "I'm in love with you" part. And didn't get rejected. Curry, 1. John Krasinski, 0.
-
I consider seeing Spencer Fisher fight a selling point but that's just me.
-
Totally agreed on Milan being a swamp donkey but them jugs are nice.

Amy Milans gorgeous set of tits deserve a spot on that list. I've always found Sara Harmer to be good looking in that plain-Jane kinda way.
