"Jenny Was A Friend of Mine" came on at the bar last night and I enjoyed it.

Leites out, Crafton Wallace in according to the usual suspects. If Marquadt takes this to a decison UFC should cut their losses and ditch the guy.

I can only hope some meatheaded FSU straight-edger beats the shit out of somebody wearing that shirt.

Bible groups plan to protest The Amish murder victims' funerals

If there was ever a time for the Amish to band together and riot using technology, this would be it. -
Moral of the story: The true heroes of this world are the police and firemen of NYC.

Ace is one of my favourite fighters and the champ so I'm not going to bet against him but I'll totally acknowledge the possibility of Silva KO'ing him. Having said that, Franklin, Ground and Pound R3. -
So I'm going to Toronto in the morning.

Chefts in Mexico become doctors in Canada. We're flip-floppy like that. -
I say NYC blows up and the second season is all about the world and the heroes dealing with the consequences of their actions. Remember, we're being led to believe that the junky paints things that are going to happen. Hiro is, of course, the key to stopping all of this.

PRIDE in USA, October 21st!
Lord of The Curry replied to Lt. Al Giardello's topic in Mixed Martial Arts
He lost to Jason Miller. I'd say his "top fighter" status died off a while ago. -
The acting is going to need some work at this point if they want the story to come across strong. They've done a solid job so far of nailing down the plot points in terms of characters and their connections but Larter still comes across as a hokey and the relationship with the brothers felt kinda awkward tonight even though the flying moment was cool. Hiro's little journey to visit the studio was awesome. It's a gimme that the serial killer that the cop is about will be a big part of whatever goes down in NYC. Should be fun to see where this goes.

It was my first ever MMA event so of course I'm biased/unknowledgable but I thoroughly enjoyed the event. Meeting GSP set it off on a fairly high note. Out of 11 fights only two went to decison (Hominicks fight and Todd Gouwenberg vs Martin Desillets which was a sloppy but grimy throwdown) and we got a good mix of subs, ko's and tkos. Watching Stout armbar somebody was surreal as fuck. Like I said, Paltry better negotiate his ass off to get Hioki back in Montreal for February. If that's the case then you best make it up to Canada (a lot to ask, I know) for the show. -
Jim is definetly not over Pam. But still stupid. I can actually see Jim rejecting Pam if she goes for him as somewhat of a security-blanket kinda thing just to draw the relationship out more. Pam getting rejected would be an interesting swerve and a storyline where Pam is placed in Jim storyline would interest me. Either that or Pam catches Jim with a girl and gets all shocked and such. For them to just hook up if/when Jim returns would be silly.

Well, I should've elaborated that I was there live to see it happen. And I met GSP. And Hominick (I sent him your luv, Lei). Next TKO show is in February and hopefully they can get Hioki for it. -

GSP confirmed at the TKO show on Saturday that he'll be facing Hughes for the title @ 65 in Sacremento. -
I really enjoyed the episode for reasons already listed but I didn't care for Jim telling Michael the reason he transferred was Pam then forgetting that Michael can't keep a secret and imploring him not to tell her. Sloppy writing unless it's revealed somehow that it was all a part of Jims plan to have Pam "accidentally" find out because of Michael.

Except for the Bushdio shows which are a 10-5. -
Yeah, I put a question mark next to BJ under the WW division because nobody (including BJ, probably) knows what he's going to do next. Everything from moving up to MW to cutting down to LW to coaching on TUF V has come up in the Penn rumour mill.

I think they'll probably keep the Stamford office containted to Ed Helms and the chick that impersonates Jim well. I won't say why but if you read Downhomes spoilers on the previous page regarding the British version it makes sense why they wouldn't build up the entire office.

i concur. i'm not saying its what i believe, but thats what i've read. i'd have given it to wolf parade anyway. they're ace. I'd have given it to Wolf Parade as well. 2007 should be a decent enough year, new Apostle of Hustle, Feist and Stars. I've heard Wofl Parade might get one out but Spencer is terribly busy with his I think 3 or 4 other bands.

Clearly using a scale to balance Leena and a duck is the only way to go here.

Holy fuck. This is the internet we're talking about, right? "Uneasy." Rich as all hell.

Ditto. I heard "The Bleeding Heart Show" on the iPod tonight and realized how much more I like NP's songs when they're not being played through on an album. Pallett is very much a part of the Toronto "indy scene" so I'm not sure what banky means.
