For the record I think this is bullshit and nothing but an attempt by Angles agent to keep his clients story warm. Kurt is worth absolutely nothing to WWE if everybody sees him getting tapped out or KO'd in a "real" promotion.

I'd take some sick pleasure in seeing Lesnar absolutely destroy Angle with takedowns and strikes from the top. Actually, replace Lesnar with any fighter and that's pretty much the case.

The Marquart situation, IMO, all depends on his ability to finish his opponent at UFN in October. UFC was ready to give Jeff Monson the first crack the winner of Sylvia/Arlovski at UFC 59 but because he put on a fairly mediocre fight against Marcio Cruz they made him wait and gave him a prelim fight on UFC 61 in the hopes that he'd look stronger, according to Jeff. I see the same thing happening with Nate here. If he takes the guy to another decison then the winner of Swick/Loiseau will probably get the shot. If he finishes the guy then we'll most likely see Marquart vs the winner of Swick/Loiseau sometime in December or January for a title shot.

Bonnar/Griffin II was a solid fight. If you thought it was disappointing it sounds like you were expecting a replica of the original which everybody knew was not going to happen.

I didn't feel like bumping my Recent Purchases thread but I bought TUF2 on DVD today after it was finally released in Canada and it was worth it, not so much for Diaz/Diego (which 90% of my purchase was based on) but for one simple thing: You get backstage footage of Diaz throwing the shoe.

Rob and Kimberly look to already be on the verge of self-destructing. They don't look like they've got what it takes to makes the finals at the moment.
