GSP at 50% could still beat Hughes. He's twice as better as he was 2 years ago and 2 years ago still gave Hughes the most trouble he's been in since losing to Penn (I don't count vs Trigg II as it stemmed from the low blow.)

BJ said in the interviews leading up to the GSP fight that he considered it his first title defense. Well, he lost the title and therefore should be back to square one. GSP, Diego and Karo at this point should be getting a shot before him, seeing as how BJ seems content to allow himself to fight unknown (to most fans) Japanese dudes on UFN's. If getting himself back into contention was any issue BJ would've either fought by now or at least had a fight lined up.

Fuck that shit. I'll take a cancellation of the main event entirely or Hughes fighting some can before I see Doughboy get a shot above GSP. For all intensive purposes BJ is no longer the champion, seeing as how he lost his belt to GSP and all.

A lot of people do "fairly decent" until Fedor decides to stop toying with them and end it. Ask Randleman.

It's bullshit, GSP just updated his blog 3 days ago on the UFC website and looked fine cornering Goulet @ UFN. EDIT: Apparently not bullshit but GSP was saying in Vegas that he'll be fighting.

After seeing him take the straight right from Karo that snapped his head back against the cage and reacting like it was nothing I'm convinced that there isn't anybody in the UFC @ WW that could KO Diego.

The only one who'd have a hope in hell of that would be Pete Spratt and even then it'd be a fairly easy win for Serra.

Yeah, they looked pretty and all but the judo didn't do much to help Karo out as Diego was reversing position like crazy. I don't think I've seen a better guy at scrambling out of awkward positions then Diego. I'd enjoy seeing Koscheck/Karo at some point in the future.

I like the idea of Cote/Sell as a final because they're both on Team Mojo. Nobody on Team No Love could give Cote trouble with the exception of possibly Rivera.

That match told such an awesome story. Karo wouldn't quit but Diego would solve him at every turn and continue to lay damage. It sucks Karo lost but if you believe in moral victories in MMA he sure as hell got one.

Good show but I'm not coming out of it with the "Fuck this is awesome" feeling I got after the debut of TUFIII. Shonie is hilarious and could care less about fighting. People talk shit on Rampage for being all about the cash but at least Shonie is honest about it. No GSP or Randy. Fuck that.

There's really no reason for Coleman/Shogun to not happen here and you'd figure that Mark would be pushing for it with the fight being on his home soil and his first US bout in a while. Unless he's, ya know, scared. Can't say I blame him.
