One of the gulliest moments in a movie full of gully was when Viggo did a full-on trachea stomp.

An A-Train return to Smackdown would get me fairly hyped. Train/Taker, Train/Benoit, Train/Lashley, Train/Angle, Train/Finlay, Train/JBL. So much potential goodness.
-
But it was Benoit playing the straight-man that put it over the top.
-
Because hearing JR verbally felate HHH and Cena is a change for the better?
-
I'm blown away by your ignorance. You're saying that the scooter-riding, milk-truckin driving, animal-sex loving goofball is more intense then Benoit? More to the point, you're saying that Benoit isn't intense?

Just finished watching it, really liked it but wasn't blown away. What Ripper mentions about the violence being realistic and meaning something is 100% truth but I think that's where people began to overrate the film. Sure, they showed the consequences of violence and it was all legit and looked as such. But that's it. It ends there, except for the people who chose to believe that the violence was something beyond a plot device, which it wasn't. Great performances all around though I'm not sure how William Hurt managed to garner an Oscar nod for barely 10 minutes of work. That's the type of shit I expect from Judi Dench. All of the supporting cast of Syriana and Munich did better work and had lengthier roles. As for the sex scenes and the "gratutious" label, I'm torn. The cheerleader scene was well done and as Ripper pointed out it showcased the intimacy of the two. The stair scene was awkward and pretty out-of-the-blue but I think what Cronenberg was trying to get at was that even when things are stripped away there is still the animalistic side of humanity left over and that's what Tom and Edie's characters surrendered themseleves to at that particular moment. Or they were horny.

That's awful.

Actor: Daniel-Day-Lewis. I watched My Left Food as part of an English Media assignment in Grade 12 and was hooked. Loved everything since. I really dig his eccentricity towards the craft and the way he'll approach roles. Legit contender for a "Never gives a bad performance" rep. Whenever he gives a performance it's worth waiting for. Actress: Julianne Moore. Boogie Nights, Far From Heaven, Big Lebowski. Good enough for me. Hot as shit, versatile and will seemingly get naked for fun.

Tanner vs Horn has "Decison" written all over it, hopefully both are motivated by the fact that they're both on the end of a 3-fight deal and neither can afford to lose. Ok, Tanner can't afford to lose.

Did you have a point?

Unless Benoit is intentionally trying to be goofy, he isn't. Angle, at his most serious comes off like a kid with downs syndrome.

I think Lei did it just so he can find a reason to post in here again. -
Your first problem is that you expect Chris Benoit to be like the aforementioned wrestlers. He's not. Oh, and Benoit's mic skills smoke Angles.

Makes me wonder if they were planning on doing a Scientology II episode and that's where Hayes decided to pack it in. The quote Stone throws down on Hayes having a different standard for his own religion is great.

Lei Tong rockin' the mysterious comments. Elab on the Sherk story. -
Wow, peoples expectations were stupidly high for RVD/Shelton. I thought it was perefectly acceptable but nothing out of the ordinary. Hopefully when they're actually "feuding" instead of just being used for MITB buildup we can see what they really have to offer. The one-jump suplex off the top rope was tits. And I fucking LOVED the interations between King and Flair on commentary. Sue me.

It's kinda weird how the UFC is poised to explode and that all could be fucked up because of something as simple as not paying the fighters enough. I mean, I know guys like Stout and Hominick are low on the totem pole but after travel and expenses they probably came out of the show barely even. As much as I loves me some GSP him making more then Franklin is completely retarded. -
I thought we were all marks?

Let's do some spring cleaning on folder subtitles.

I nominate "The worst nicknames in all of sports" -
Nice pickup. A lot of people still think the 'him' that Des is referring to is his replacement but that opens up a few doors.

I got my Shield perps confused and actually yelled out "Cuddler Rapist Represent!" at the beggining of the episode. Wrong rapist. - Bobby with the conducters hat was gold - This episode made me remember how much I hate Janice - I was actually surprised that Gene offed himself, I was expecting a sub-plot to the season being his wife getting all Lady Macbeth in his ear talking about killing Tony - Wonder why they're bringing Pussy's wife back into the mix after this long? - Killer ending. Junior's almost completely lost it.
