Dench won't win. Reese will take it because Pheonix isn't winning.

I nominate Chave, the saviour of HD.

Let it also be noted that Hominick fighting back tears in his post-fight interview talking about his dad was one of the most awesome things in a while.

Funny, I was thinking that this folder was better when banky was doing his routine in here and *BAM* he's reading the same thread that I am.

The downward spiral of HD is really amusing to watch, mainly because of those at the forefront of it.

I'm beyond scared of seeing GSP lose. 2'nd round I can deal with but if he goes down in the first I'm done. Having said that, I believe.

MMA Comments that Don't Warrant a Thread

That was a good 20 second chuckle. Tanks, Lei. -
Random thought: You'd think that when Jin and Sun were playing catch-up regarding Jins ocean adventure and subsequent capture by the Tailies that he'd, ya know, mention that he and Eko were in the jungle and saw a group of kids walking around. I don't know what's a weaker move on the part of the writers: making us think that Jin wouldn't say that or making us think that Sun would keep it to herself.

If Gale's plan is to try and get Locke to turn on Jack then it's clear that Jack is the one they wanted crossed off the list. I think Gale recognizes Locke as an intellectual and is treating him as such. I don't think he views Jack in the same light. And I really wanted Eko to start his chat with Henry with "If you allow me, I will begin at the beggining"

Tell him to ask Coleman if Baroni is man enough to fight Silva.

I had the idea the other night that before the season is over we'll see Locke take off and join up with The Others but the reason he's doing it will be primarily to see what they're up against.

Okay, let's right this ship.

What did Milky and Inc do to save themself from Czech's bledding vagina-fest of a post? -
This is all real, kids. Wake up and smell the IRA love. Benoit/Bobby vs Finlay/JBL was the balls. And Finlay was the sack holding those balls together. Sweet strikes, great heel work with the crowd, awesome bumping and selling. He's killin' it and nobody gives a shit. Well you should. Finlay vs Benoit vs JBL vs Regal @ WrestleMania for the US Title would get WWE my 40 bucks in a heartbeat. Hell, any combination of those in tag or singles format would smoke 99% of the shit they put on TV anyways. Smackdown owns RAW in every single way possible at the moment.

Why does everybody think the clean-cut guy talking to Ethan was Mr. Friendly? They look completely similar. If anything I think the "He" and "Him" that the guy referred to will turn out to be Friendly. Awesome, awesome episode. Defiently in the Top Five for this season so far, maybe Top Three. I smell an Eko heel turn. I half-expected him to give Gale the knife because he needs Gale to pass along Eko's forgiveness to the higher-ups.

As a general rule of thumb, I loathe Canadian television. Sure, there are a few exceptions, Hockey Night In Canada and Trailer Park Boys being the only two. I don't know why, usually because most Canadian television centres around a drab small-town with whacky characters, one or more of whom is probably hiding a dark secret. Either that or it's chock-full of stereotypes about our people. I'm lucky enough to know somebody who's done some writing for the CBC and he shares my views on why TV in this country sucks. I can only hope that he's been lucky enough to see Terminal City. This is the type of shows that make me want to geek-out and use retarded buzz-words like "emotional juggernaut" and "a revelation". Probably because this show is exactly that. It manages to have great writing, high production values and interesting and fresh directing, all the while still being very obviously Canadian. Sorry, Lost. You were pretty original until this came along. The show centres around a woman named Katie Sampson who, after discovering a lump in her breast is diagnosed with end-stage breast cancer. At her hospital there is a failing reality show called Post-Op and the host accidentally runs into Katie during a taping. She jokes about her cancer, makes fun of the host and finishes it all off by flashing a tit on television. The producers are immeditaly intriuged and determined to re-format the show around Katie, no matter what the cost. After much coercing, she takes the job. What follows over the next ten episodes is an exploration into the life of Katie and her family and how they're affected by her illness and the suddden celebrity status Katie has. This show has been called by more then a few critics as "A Canadian answer to Six Feet Under". Absolute bullshit. This show kills SFU in every possible way. More interesting and REAL characters, better dark humour and a more intriguing premise. I'm not sure if it's available yet in the States but any and all Canucks are encouraged to check it out if you've got Rogers Digital. It's currently bookmarked On Demand but it may not stay that way forever. Give the first episode a shot, you shant regret it.

The member list is about 10% of that at Sherdog but the boys @ DVDVR trump the Sherdogians in terms of quality discussion/minimal stupidity. -
The plus side of this being that we'll probably be seeing Dorekson/Marquadt now and we might not have before so I can deal with Diego's bellyache.
