Evil rumors going around that Franca is out of the Lauzon fight in February. Let's hope thems aint true. -

Good call. Plus I hear your leader is doing okay right now, globally. We're lucky if people outside Canada know our leaders name. -
What are you on?

UFC 94 - Georges St. Pierre vs. BJ Penn II
Lord of The Curry replied to Mik's topic in Mixed Martial Arts
Re: Vallely Growing up skateboarding and watching videos I was exposed to Vallely being a self-righteous, belief-pushing torch who got his rocks off picking fights with pretty much anybody who'd start something with him. You can YouTube him beating the shit of some serious "bros" which I'm all for but the guy is just kinda nuts. -
Nothing great but not bad either. I don't really care for Walker being part of the CTU Cliq. I liked the Pres being taken down a peg in a way by the people around her.

MMA Comments that Don't Warrant a Thread

I must admit I stole a line from one of Tong's stories, the one with your brother flicking his smoke at the annoying bitch and her boyfriend. "Nooooo, baby don't get crazy!!! They don't know who you are!!!" or something like that. Funny line to drop at random moments. -

One whacky theory I've heard is that Adam and Eve are Penny and Desmond. Doesn't work but interesting to think about.

Okami too.

MacDonald doesn't get my faith because the dude is one of the most inconsistent fighters out there. His record is always Win-Loss-Win-Loss. So I guess he's due for a win.
-
Probably got KO'd by a cold gust of wind while walking down St. Catherines Street. And I have no faith in MacDonald anymore. Gouveia dropped him, I see no reason why Quarry can't either.

I hope she's alive (love them freckles) but I dunno about her being "in" with Jack and Tony. I don't think that Emerson would buy it and Tony has already put their relationship in jeopardy by bringing Jack on board. I think him saying "Oh, by the way this FBI agent also hates the government and wants to join" would be pretty bait.

He can't be banished there considering he's been off the island many times visiting Juliette and young Locke.

Really enjoyed it, not perfect due to the last quarter or so of it but the scenery was beautiful and it's a credit to the people involved that they can make such desolate and depressing living areas look as good as things did. The young Salim was awesome, making the hard choices to survive and suchlike. Older Jamal was a very likable and sympathetic character and Latika played her role well. Also, it should be noted. Freida Pinto. Sweet Jesus. That's a woman. Yeah.

We were ten rows up in the lower bowl, basically eye level with the octagon. Yeah, good sets. We had Herman, Robert Follis, Herring, Loiseau, MacDonald all hanging out around the area. Herman was heavy into the booze after Maia put him out. -
WEC 38: Varner vs. Cerrone
Lord of The Curry replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in Mixed Martial Arts
Varner's gonna get a nice chat from the higher ups after that little outburst. Fucking sucks though, there was still potential for a Cowboy victory in the fifth even though I thought if it went the distance Varner would have taken it. A split was a bit much, IMO. -
Dark hair, pale and big tits is a winning combination in my book.

Cerrone/Varner has FOTY potential methinks but on paper this is a really weak card. -

With that payroll I can't see how they financially survive long enough to put together a 3rd show. -

It was weird sitting next to this dude who, out of nowhere checks his Blackberry and goes "Alright, just talked to backstage. Champ's ready." Him being beside me was weirdly calming because I figured if this dude wasn't worried in the least that GSP was going to lose I shouldn't have been either. I know he went to McDonalds with GSP after the show.
