Right now my movie of the year is Wall E. Simple, compact and the best love story of the year. The most art-centric Pixar movie and one that kids are going to need to grow up with to truly appreciate.

Yeah, good call. I don't think it has anything to do with the strike because Office was affected by that and it still got nominated. Michael Emerson deserves some recognition for his work in S4.

I'm glad Ledger got nominated so as to avoid the bitch-fest that would follow if he didn't but I'll say here what I've been saying ever since TDK came out: There's not a person on this planet that would place his performance so high up if the dude didn't off himself. It was a great role and a great job done on his part but there's no way in hell him dying doesn't add to that for those calling it the best of the year or even worse, best of all time.

Tom Cruise for, what I understand to be nothing more then a cameo in Tropic Thunder is a bit weird to see. Glad to see True Blood get some love. The Shield got fucked.

Saunders has a lot of X-factors right now in terms of us seeing how he functions against a high-level wrestler or grappler but his stand-up looked very solid and he showed some serious killer instinct by going for Wolff when he knew he was hurt. I wouldn't put him up against a mid-level guy like a Davis or a Lytle but he's a fight or two away from proving himself worthy of a shot at the bigger names.

Fun night. Miller looked fantastic especially given that he took the fight on just over a weeks notice, Swick did what was expected, Saunders looked like a pyscho and Koscheck nearly killed Yoshi.

How'd it happen? Just planted the leg wrong?

I can attest to the video store thingy. I was nice for the most part but there were times when somebody would be renting a movie and my exchanges would be along the lines of... Me: So you're renting _____? Customer: Yeah. Me: .......seriously? Customer: Um.....yeah. *I roll my eyes* Me: Oooookay.
