So.......this is gonna stay in this folder?

I dunno, guys. I've seen the preview and all I can think is that, despite the fact that I like the guy I'll be seeing "Michael Cera is....MICHAEL CERA". I can only take so many awkward moments in a movie. Though Kat Dennings is pretty good.

I was actually surprised that they killed off the two villains so quickly. Hopefully that means in terms of what's to come their powers were minor. I want an Apocalypse/Proteus kinda bad guy showing up soon.

It'll be interesting for all intense and purposes simply because Sylar is pretty far from a face but if he's wiping out other villains that threaten true faces he'll be viewed as one.

YPOV- Would the timeline work out on Krazy Horse being in PRIDE when Ninja/Hendo went down? His first show was Bushido 3 or 4 and that was quite some time after the NYE shows with Danny vs Ninja. -
UFC 93: Franklin vs. Henderson

I'd need a pretty decent undercard or one serious standout fight to cough up money for that. Example here being Franklin/Okami which I liked as a fight but didn't care for as a main event. My money on the card was for Guida/Griffin and it was worth every penny. -
I wouldn't say he's domesticated. Even though Jesse was a villain it was still Sylar being Sylar which in the end is normally a bad thing. On the other hand I don't care for Sylar being under Mama Petrili's influence. Other thoughts.. - Hiro and Ando getting locked up will be interesting, I imagine. Especially when Sylar finds out. - So could Ali Larter's character(s) be the product of a Company engineered formula? - No Mohinder. I'm not complaining. - Then stuff with Claire and her mom was pretty flat. - Glad to see fire dude and Knox make it out alive.

Courtesty of The Toronto Star.... WESTPORT, Conn.–Paul Newman, the Academy-Award winning superstar who personified cool as an activist, race car driver, popcorn impresario and the anti-hero of such films as Hud, Cool Hand Luke and The Color of Money, has died, a spokeswoman said Saturday. He was 83. Newman died Friday of cancer, spokeswoman Marni Tomljanovic said. No other details were immediately available. In May, Newman he had dropped plans to direct a fall production of Of Mice and Men, citing unspecified health issues. He got his start in theatre and on television during the 1950s, and went on to become one of the world's most enduring and popular film stars, a legend held in awe by his peers. He was nominated for Oscars 10 times, winning one regular award and two honorary ones, and had major roles in more than 50 motion pictures, including Exodus, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, The Verdict, and Absence of Malice. Newman worked with some of the greatest directors of the past half century, from Alfred Hitchcock and John Huston to Robert Altman, Martin Scorsese and the Coen brothers. His co-stars included Elizabeth Taylor, Lauren Bacall, Tom Cruise, Tom Hanks and, most famously, Robert Redford, his sidekick in Butch Cassidy and The Sting. He sometimes teamed with his wife and fellow Oscar winner, Joanne Woodward, with whom he had one of Hollywood's rare long-term marriages. "I have steak at home, why go out for hamburger?'' Newman told Playboy magazine when asked if he was tempted to stray. They wed in 1958, around the same time they both appeared in The Long Hot Summer, and Newman directed her in several films, including Rachel, Rachel and The Glass Menagerie.

Until the throwing-pants-at-the-cop situation I actually thought that this was going to be Drama's big break because people admired how in touch he was with his emotions. I can for sure see him getting kicked off the show because of this. Actually, knowing how shows lately have been handling DUI's/Drugs (CSI, Lost) he'll get killed off.

Somebody at another board brought this up and even though I think it's a known thing I'll spoiler-tag it anyways...

Nighthawk- On principle I agree but these are physiological shoes that deal with back, knee and hip problems. In terms of expensive shoes my biggest purchase was a $350 pair of Cole Haans and those only get busted out for serious nights out/weddings/funerals.

Methinks Vince taking the supporting roles might net him his first major award nod.

No way they'll give Le that tough of a test in his first title defense. -
Marvin, I work at an orthopedic shoe stores. Crocs ain't shit, son. Rock a pair of $400 hand-made Finnamic shoes from Germany and THEN talk about comfort.

So this one falls under the category of "Stumbled across in randomly on TMN and gave it a shot" and man am I glad I did. Easily one of the best nature documentaries I've seen in a long time. I never thought a movie about sharks would be this dark and heartbreaking but it is. The movie is filmed and narrated by Toronto native Rob Stewart who's been fascinated with sharks since a young age. For the first bit it's basically the standard narrative about how important sharks are to our ecosystem and what their extermination can mean for life on our planet but it really picks up when Paul quits his job as a marine biologist and starts to explore the illegal finning industry particularly exposing the scope and influence of the Asian Government when it comes to pressuring countries like Guatemala, Costa Rico and the Galapagos Islands. At one point he hooks up with eco-rebel (and some say terrorist) Paul Watson, a guy who's made headlines here in Canada recently when he made comments that four men who'd died in a seal hunt were nothing compared to the thousands of innocent seals that were slaughtered over the years. Rob joins Paul and his crew as they head to the above-mentioned countries to challenge the illegal fisherman and what follows is a study in corruption and wealth. Well filmed, not preachy and the stuff with Watson really needs to be seen to be believed. Highly recommended.

So my roommate last night somehow managed to party with Bas Rutten, The Crow and Babalu as they were all in town for the Paradise Warriors Retreat at Kombat Arts. I could've gone but I hate clubs. I know he doesn't read this forum but fuck you Mike. -
