I got AJ, Hardy, and Raven at Best Buy today. Watched most of AJ's, Hardy vs. Styles and Hardy vs. Jarrett (9/8/04). Markout moment of the night: This was my first time watching that match from a TV perspective, since I was there...and you can see me taking a picture of Jeff's Swanton that hits.

I'm in row O. I'm guessing the $40/60 seats were the ones behind the TitanTron with a distorted view. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Really...I took a bit of a hit I'm assuming, then. O's the last row I can find, and I'm in Row N. Got two for $305, section 214. I don't feel nearly as bad, since I thought they were $75 seats. I think you're right about those seats, though.
-
Yeah, I bought mine this morning on eBay after losing out on the presale (I didn't know the Q101 password). NitroJMS, what row are your tickets in?
-
That's because Markus actually did great this episode. They let him do his thing with the TiVo and he ran with it and did a great job. The whole team just rolled, and the results would have been a lot different if not for the lecherous old men who voted 10 for the ladies.

Hey Crabman.
-
I've just realized I could actually do this...front row no less. It's really tempting.

The only thing that's come to mind about Jarrett being a "World Champion" everywhere he's gone is he's a former WWF World Tag Team Champion with Owen. I suppose if you look at it from a specific point of view (thanks Obi-Wan), he's been a World Champion in the WWF, WCW, and the NWA (and if you really want to get technical, he merged the WWA "World" Championship into the NWA Title). shit, didn't even think to say this: Very nice, love to see it back, Dames.

How and why is Lashley better? Better technically, sure, but he's also been better at boring the shit out of me during his first two appearances. Monty's got that energy factor, charisma, there's no comparison <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Agreed. His first match against Dean was good, harmless fun, but they wanted to make this guy a Brock/Monty hybrid and failed horribly this week. He took too much offense, and then TNA turned it around and made Monty look like a total monster by killing Lex Lovett. Lashley has the credentials, but Monty's got him everywhere else so far.

And the last one just aired of all the major names (3LK, Jarrett/AMW, Raven, Rhino, Hardy, AJ, Daniels, and Tito Ortiz) standing in the arena as West/Tenay named them off.

Thank God for DVR; Sunday - Simpsons, War At Home, Family Guy, MAYBE American Dad. Monday - Raw, AD, How I Met Your Mother, 24 (2006), American Idol (2006). Tuesday - My Name Is Earl, House Wednesday - Criminal Minds, E-Ring Thursday - The Apprentice (I just started this season, and I love it) Friday - FNSmackdown Saturday/Sunday - Football, TNA Impact Monday/Tuesday, I wouldn't be able to watch all of that without DVR. I'm barely able to watch all of it now, because we also tape Boston Legal, meaning we have Earl, House, and Boston Legal all on at once...hm. Edit: Ah, geez, forgot E-Ring, finally watched the first episode this morning. It's good.

Rhino's not that big, Abyss is simply not championship material (but is booked well as a threat, unlike, say, Show or Kane), and Joe... ...They're working on it. Give them time.
-
He's also doing Dungeon Siege (which nobody wanted to see, either), and thinks he can make it an epic, LOTR type movie. One pic has been released, and people are baffled about how he got actual name talent (re: not tara reid) for the movie.
-
What I think needs to be noted is that while, yes, for wrestling, WCW 2000's ratings were in the toilet (sans Thunder, which actually was), WCW was still drawing millions to the show. Were they bad shows with horrible booking? Yes. But they were by no means in the actual toilet in terms of ratings, especially on cable.

I whole heartedly think there will be worse shows this season. Head Cases, Hot Properties, that's just two off the top of my head. Don't like the laugh track, but it's not as bad as other stuff we'll see this season...and it was funnier than the season premiere of the Simpsons. That was absolutely unfunny. Oh, and Patrick Stewart is my new hero. "Do you have any Gatorade? I seem to have left all my electrolytes in your daughter."
-
Two notes about this... 1) One of the local morning shows in TN had the same clip, and you could hear a guy in the crowd screaming "YOU SUCK" clearly and audibly over the boos. That's not in the Rome clip. 2) sssscreeeeeeeeeeaaaaammmm!

Mine is mostly original names... January - No Escape February - Battlegrounds March - On The Edge April - Victory Road May - The Thin Line June - Black and White July - All American August - Hostile Intent September - Bound For Glory October - Desperate Measures November - Prices Paid December - Starstruck Clearly "The Thin Line" is a horrible name, and could be replaced by LockDown. The big shows are Bound For Glory, Starstruck, and Victory Road, VR being a tournament.

Same seller has "Smack 'Em, Whack 'Em" available, $6.72 + $3.95 shipping...Bret vs. Shawn ladder match, Bret vs. Flair WWF Title match. EDIT: Oh, and Grudges, Gripes, and Grunts for even less...Flair/Michaels vs. Savage/Hart.

I think the new UF spread offense is the best possible thing for Leak and the rest of the offense. Add in the fact that they get to play at home for the most important games of the season (barring Georgia and the SEC Title Game, should they make it there), I'm feeling good about the Gators. I'm thinking a win over UT, a win over FSU, but the Georgia game...not so sure. I just really don't think UT's as good as their ranking. I highly doubt any team in the SEC East will go undefeated, so it's a matter of who beats who; one upset means the world here.
-
Just to shift focus, I'm really feeling that UTenn isn't as good as the polls say they are. Something about them...maybe it's because I'm a Gator fan, and the Vols' schedule is highly unkind to them, as opposed to the UF schedule where they get UT and FSU at home.
-
Does anyone have that .gif of Barry jumping over the shark?
-
Precisely. Peyton was proving in college he couldn't win the big one; couldn't beat UF, couldn't get the NC, and yet, Tee Martin could. I love being a Gator fan, because no matter how many times a UF QB chokes in the NFL (Shane Matthews, Danny Woeful (lol), Jesse Palmer, Doug Johnson, Rex Grossman), at least we can still laugh at Peyton for not being able to beat us. ps, FSU fans: charlie ward chris weinke and peter warrick free shoes u lol

Derek Lowe couldn't do better than Shelley Smith? Come ON, Rachel Nichols is RIGHT THERE.
-
What is it with Busta and remixes this year where he talks about fucking girls? First "Wait", now this. I've heard both, and the best description came from...I don't know where, but it was described as "it sounds like he's about to fuck my ear through the speaker"...probably DVDVR.

This is about right, unless you're Dutch Mantell, who thinks it's Grandma Bluehairs.

And in addition, a match with Sabin, Dutt, and Shark Boy will be announced tomorrow.
