The mention of getting a rapper to come out with Cena...I like that. I'd actually enjoy a performance of "Hustle" from Murs and Cena providing the third verse.

I recall house shows in 1992 for the WWF (Bret, Tatanka, and Hogan were most def. on the card) in Jacksonville, and 1995 for WCW (Sting and Savage were on the card, along with Avalanche/Tenta) in Tallahassee. The WCW one is far more memorable, since I got my copy of WCW Magazine signed by "The Dean of Wrestling", Gordon Solie. I've since lost that magazine. Tennessee Titans: This is deceptive, because they're likely in the market to get rid of some of the bigger money makers like Derrick Mason. Having the worst cap situation in the league will do that to you. I suppose I could see Payton being kept for the league min., but Calmus is likely gone, along with Lamont Thompson. Amato and Ena are deep backups that might get resigned, along with Kassell. The two must haves here are Hartwig and Carlos Hall. Hall's one of your ends, and you don't want to be stuck trying to fill both if you let Kevin Carter go...god I hope that doesn't happen.

I don't know, this seems to have slipped under the radar, but the Tennessee Titans hired their new Wide Receivers coach, Ray Sherman, formerly of the Green Bay Packers. They're still searching for an Offensive Coordinator, and the deal with Defensive Coordinator Jim Schwartz is "unofficially done, officially there are still some minor details to work out" (Coach Jeff Fisher).

At least these guys didn't see wrestling as real, and the competitors as living their gimmicks...otherwise the headline would have read "Sylviaan Gernier Ded". See...because he misspells words...forget it.

I keep missing the Galavision Saturday Lucha here in the states...I don't even know if it still comes on. But the Lucha De Vuelta on Sunday has been fun to catch (The CMLL stuff, anyway). I can see the basic storyline here between Hijo Del Perro Aguayo and Hijo Del Santo, and lord is it awesome. H.D. Perro won the Leyenda de Plata, with his father in the front row, and was presented the plaque by H.D. Santo...so what does he do? Get on the turnbuckle with his buddy Hector Garza and bust it over the post! It was beautiful, and they had this great brawl. So this week, it's Perro/Garza/Someone else vs. Santo/Negro Casas/Atlantis, it's 3rd fall, 1-1, and Perro trips up Santo, who trips the ref and sends him stumbling. Perro just wheelbarrow's him up and kicks him RIGHT IN THE GROIN, rolls him over, and get the three for the Rudo win. Post-match, as Santo is in the corner with Atlantis and Negro, holding his injured jewels, Perro gets on the microphone and throws down the gauntlet; Mask vs. Hair! I'm enjoying this, even if I'm not comprehending all the promos and commentary, I pick up enough to understand what's going on.

About this deal... It's not non-sports games only. I did the deal with some 2002 sports games, they give $10 on the deal, instead of the .38 you're going to get without it. You have to have the original box and instruction manual, that's all.

That's right, it is hard to gauge crowd reactions on TV. I went to the last TNA PPV earlier in the month, and the reactions were much louder than you'd hear on TV.

Considering that he said "thumb wrestling" and "Nickelodeon", I'd have put my money on Shark Boy, but he's a tad more recognizable...so I don't know.

Just in terms of WRs, Smith is still the #1 guy in Jacksonville, while Calico is a #3 guy in Tennessee behind Bennett and Mason. Smith is my dark horse pick in any draft. People look at last year's stats and say he's on the way down, but they don't remember that he missed the first four games of last year and could have broken the 1000 yard mark and had one or two more TDs had he been there to catch Leftwich (or early in the season, Brunell)'s passes.

If "Stagger" Lee shows up with a "TNA Road Report", I give up on the promotion.

Is "The Final Bell" the song that plays at the end of the fights in 1-3 (as the press absolutely RUSHES the ring)? Either way, it's "Gonna Fly Now". Nothing is as great as THE RUN in Rocky 1 and 2.

Last week we had rehersal and the show seemed so bad I didn't want to order a replay, and I'm beginning to save up for our trip to either Hawaii, San Fran, or LA.
