Twins fans cheering the ball being thrown back is just bush league. You're losing the series right now fools. With Boof going in game 2, and the Twins phobia of taking pitches Johan might not get another start.
-
In that inning I learned that Castillo is a loser who can't get a bunt down, Bartlett is a terrible fielder and baserunner and "MVP" Mauer is less clutch than A-Rod. Poor Johan.
-
Holy shit, a 5 pitch AB, and a double to boot! Who would have guessed that taking a pitcher deep in the count would be an effective strategy?
-
It should take Zito & Street about 13 pitches to get these next 6 outs.
-
Awesome play by Punto despite the Bartmanesque fan.
-
These Twins look like the most undisciplined line-up in the postseason. For fuck's sake you're not being paid by the hour, and you don't have a flight to catch.
-
I think he might have killed Mauer in that collision.
-
Great, El Duque might not be able to pitch after hurting his calf while running. I'm gonna go with LA in 4 if he's out as well.
-
This looks like one of those LLWS games where one pitcher has a bad inning and that's the whole ballgame.
-
Kellerman knows more than the vast majority of the ESPN guys. Putting him on a show where he's trying to out yell Jay & Woody was not the best way to use him.
-
Stepping on someone's skull twice, once without the benefit of a helmet, seems like intent to injure to me. If someone did that in the stands they'd be in jail for assault.

I don't think 5 games is enough of a suspension for that douchebag. He should miss the rest of the year.

10% is the difference between being a career minor leaguer with cups of coffee and a .300 hitter. If Detroit wins a game in this series I'll be stunned. They couldn't beat the mighty Royals at home, but they're gonna beat the Yankees? Also, the Sox won their last 5 last year heading into the postseason, sweeping the Indians who were on fire towards the end. Detroit lost their last 5, including getting swept by the worst team in the sport at home.

Good teams don't play .380 baseball during the last 50 games of the season, especially when there was a point that they could have missed the playoffs because of it.
-
Padres in 4. Pujols hits 3 HR, the rest of the team does nothing. Looper blows at least one game.
-
Minny in 4 because they have homefield and the invincible SANTANA~!
-
This will be the best NL matchup most definitely. Mets in 5. Dodgers win in Game 2 and 4. Mets win 1, 3 and 5. That's about what I thought as well. I wouldn't be shocked to see LA win though. Whichever team wins this series will win the NL pennant.
-
Yankees sweep, total margin of victory should be roughly 18.
-
Awesome one handed INT by Manning. So much for Salisbury's Seahawks being the class of the NFC.
-
Scobee should shank this and blow the game. Eh, he was close to being the goat. Let's go Jags.
-
The Bengals are not looking like an elite team right now.
-
Coles also got hurt because of said frenzy. If he's out for a while, Mangini will have had a really bad afternoon.
