    NFL Week 4

Pats 4 SB CHAMPS~!11!1 I wonder how quickly the Bengals bandwagon will empty. Re: ESPN -> The ESPN talking heads will do a quick 180 as they'll say Tom Brady got this team to jell because he's the greatest leader of our time, or that Belichick and his crew of geniuses finally came up with a way to replace Branch. Trust me, the slurpjob will be thorough this week.

    NFL Week 4

I wonder how insufferable the ESPN guys will be this week if the Pats end up winning this game by double digits which seems likely since the Bengals defense is being shredded right now. I like the under in the Bears/Seahawks game. I probably won't watch it because I don't like SEC football.

    NFL Week 4

Hey, Tom Brady gets emotionally attached to his receivers. We can't have him lose another.

Maroney's a beast, but that score was fresh off of a bogus penalty.

*SQUAWK* I hate Roger Clemens and the Astros! *SQUAWK* *SQUAWK* Polly want a cracker! *SQUAWK* *SQUAWK* I hate Roger Clemens and the Astros! *SQUAWK* Seriously, is there any second verse to this song? Yeah, I'll be sure to get to it in the playoffs.

    NFL Week 4

Aberration. More importantly, Don't be damaramu. The Eagles have lost this year. Whether they should have isn't relevant. Taking Chicago & Seattle aside, The Eagles are 2-1. The Saints & Falcons are 3-1. The Falcons got smacked by the Saints on the road, but they do have a win over Carolina even though STEVE SMITH~! didn't play. The Saints lost by 3 on the road to the Panthers who are one of the better teams in the conference regardless of their 2-2 record. Again, they whipped the Falcons' ass on national TV. The Eagles lost AT HOME to a 1-2 Giants team. When the NFL standings start awarding victories by who played better for the first 45 or so minutes please let me know. Thus far, the Eagles loss was the worst of those 3 teams AND they haven't beaten anyone of note this year since Houston & SF will be vying for high picks in next year's draft. It's cool to be a fan of your team but at least try to be objective.

Congrats to Detroit and their 19-31 finish to the year after starting 76-36. After you guys get swept just remember that no one had you doing well this year so you exceeded expectations. See you guys next year.

    NFL Week 4

By people who forgot that Kurt 'Fumbles' Warner was their starting QB. These same geniuses had Miami winning the SB despite Daunte 'Clutch INT' Culpepper being their QB. The Saints blew out the NFC South leading Atlanta Falcons last week and barely lost to the Panthers on the road in what was basically a must for Carolina. Again, it's not like they lost to the Bucs. They're not an elite team, but they're also not my Giants who would be classed as "not that good" based on their start, and yet they still managed to beat the Eagles in Philly but that doesn't dissuade you from listing them as an elite team. Consistency isn't your thing, that's cool. I just didn't understand it when we first started this discussion.

The Royals lead baby! Rogers just walked in another run, 10-8 KC.

No one on the Saints would have listed the Saints as a Super Bowl contender going into today. Saying they're not that good is putting them on par with the Buffalos and Arizonas of the world who'll be glad to go 6-10 or 7-9. Even if NO had won today, they still wouldn't have been a SB contender. If the Pats hold on and win this game, are the Bengals "not that good" either?

    NFL Week 4

The Saints lost their first game of the season by 3 on the road to a team every anlayst in the free world picked to go to or win the Super Bowl. It's not like they got blown out by the Raiders or Dolphins. No one was expecting them to run the table, so ragging on them for this loss seems a bit extreme. If they'd won today Carolina would have been in some deep shit, so the fact that they barely won was more of a statement about how much NO has improved than anything else.

If Detroit loses this game, the Yankees will sweep them and they have no one to blame but Leyland.

You must not have seen many Jets games during the Herm Edwards era. He was so atrocious that he basically had to go to clock management remedial classes.

    NFL Week 4

Peyton just scored on a QB sneak. Colts by 3 with 50 seconds left. Those same points they left behind for no reason. Sucks to be a Jets fan right about now.

    NFL Week 4

Colts score, and the Jets trail by the 3 points the coach didn't take from the 2 yard line earlier. Should NY lose, Mangini will be MURDERED by the fans and media for that blunder regardless of the fact that the Colts were huge favorites. EDIT: Justin Miller just went 103 yds for the Kick Return TD. HO-LY SHIT! Granted Peyton will probably just go right back down and win the game again anyway, but wow.

Yay. I see big things coming from Houston in 2007 with Roger Clemens' re-re-re-retirement parade.

Jets 21, Colts 17, WTF? Had they just kicked the FG last time they'd be in business. BTW, Indy has no timeouts abd they may not get the ball back after this possession since there's 8:06 to go and the Colts can't stop the run for shit.

    NFL Week 4

Welcome to 2002 my friend. He's been useless for 5 years, yet some people in positions of power think that'll change even though he can't grip the football (43 fumbles in his last 32 games) or maintain a positive TD/INT ratio (26 to 29). Speaking of washed up has beens, does anyone else remember when Jamal Lewis was a franchise RB?

How the fuck is Michigan STILL # 6 in the country? At this rate they'll beat OSU, go undefeated, and miss the BCS Championship game behind the SEC champ, USC and either West Va or a 1 loss OSU team.

    NFL Week 4

Cedric Houston looks like he blew out a knee and the Jets just threw away 3 points on 4th down from about the 2. Mangina's an idiot. How do you not take the points against the Colts?
  24. Like father like son. You of all people should know that Andy "trained" with Roger while they were on the Yankees together.
