I think you meant at least instead of about.

Can we please put this guy on vacation until the end of the season for those of who actually want to talk about what's happening on the field and not in Marvin's fantasy land? How can anyone with a developed brain think that a call in a meaningless game is equal to a critical blown call in the waning minutes of the 4th Quarter of a tied playoff game. It's obvious Marvin and reality are not friendly and he's only going to be more obnoxious as the playoffs progress. Why couldn't the Titans do us all a favor and deliver the killshot today? Ugh.

He just led them to a game winning FG with 4 minutes to go in the playoffs, on the road. He made 2 deep passes that resulted in 2 scores plus the 3rd and 10 conversion on the final drive and the 3rd and whatever it was pass completion to get them into Stover's FG range. I like how you neglected the critical no call that went in your favor or the fact that the defense prevented the team from losing 31-10 today when singing the praises of a guy whose biggest completion shouldn't have counted.
-
He's 20/45 for 296 with a TD in TWO games. Flacco is a stronger armed version of Dilfer right now, but he's been anointed already so I'm just going to have to stomach hearing about how great he is when his defense carried him through two victories already.
-
Flacco is going to Big Ben his way to a great postseason record and then be endlessly slurped by announcers because of his "ability to win big games" when he has had almost nothing to do with their success so far.

The Titans should be up by 21 now, and are going to lose this pathetic game.

Why couldn't Michelle McCool have been the blonde SD diva to dislocate her kneecap? That chick sucks and brings absolutely nothing to the table.

Is anyone really surprised that OU came up small again? Giving a team a game against them or THE Overrated State University is just giving them a high profile win in bowl games these days. If only the voters could look past the names of the schools and look at the effort put forth on the field during the year we wouldn't get these boring games year in and year out.

It's not like Tebow's going to succeed at the next level so he might as well continue to be the savior of the SEC for another year.
-
I think the 2007 Pats should win the game but calling a game a pick 'em or a toss up really doesn't mean anything because either team can win any game. See last year's playoffs for an example of a team that no one expected to win a single game run the table.

Unless they changed the rules and didn't tell me (or Donovan McNabb) you can only win or lose a playoff game. When there are two outcomes and you're guaranteed one of them then the probability of either one is 50/50. A team can be favored to win, but there's no such thing as an 80/20 chance of victory or defeat.

Which (un)fortunately gave them the tougher game this week depending on your point of view. The same thing can be said of the Giants/Panthers game.

I have quite a few of these games for the PS2. The best one on that system is the original Disgaea which I logged well over 100 hours in and still couldn't come close to beating the last 3 hidden bosses. As of now, that is my favorite game to play ever simply because there are so many things you can do and ways to customize your characters that it doesn't get stale even if you're replaying the same maps to level up weapons/spells/characters. Disgaea 2 looked prettier but was less fun and I never really did much with the extras but managed to finish the regular game. The "Disgaea Family" of games also includes La Pucelle Tactics, Makai Kingdom, Phantom Brave, Rhapsody & Soul Nomad. I have the first three, but Makai Kingdom was the only one I really enjoyed. La Pucelle came out before Disgaea and lacked some of the features and replayability that made Disgaea a great game. If I'd played it before Disgaea I might have liked it a lot more, but it just seemed to be lacking in most aspects. On the other hand I thought Phantom Brave was good, but I just never really liked the combat system because you were limited to a handful of turns with all of your characters except for the summoner who was pretty weak. The only other SRPG I have for that system just came out a couple of months ago, Eternal Poison. I liked it, but wouldn't say it's for most people unless you're a diehard fan of the genre or can get it for $20 in the future. The endgame was almost an afterthought and pretty much bothered me that they spent so much more time and energy on the first 70-80% of the game and just tacked on the rest. I also had Gladius for the XBox, but that was a multiplatform game that was well worth the $8 I spent on it used.

Only thing I can think of is that if Texas scores you can still tie by blocking the PAT. If they had just kicked the PAT they'd be down 24-22 now and a FG would win it. It was an idiotic move.

Little XII defense at its finest once again.
-
Yes he did... No he didn't. He was wearing a sweatshirt and cheering his team on. It was pretty obvious he was in street clothes when he celebrated with Ward after Ward got to 1,000 yards.

Titans 14-13 - because if my team is going to lose I want Marvin's team out too and I want it to happen due to a botched PAT in the waning moments of the 4th. Steelers 24-20 - If Big Ben is healthy because I can't see Sproles playing that well again and LT's not even going to be a decoy this time around. or Chargers 28-13 - If Big Ben isn't quite healthy and he plays like Brett Favre. Eagles 27-14 - I think the Cowboy killing karma from last year gets us this year, but McNabb could always wake up and have a 3 INT game which is my only hope at this point since Westbrook will sodomize Pierce at will again. Panthers 31-21 - STEVE SMITH STEVE SMITH STEVE SMITH.
-
I wanted the road teams to win yesterday and the home teams to win today, so of course it went the other way.
-
Like I said, whoever wins Philly/NYG next week should represent the NFC. If Philly beats the Giants I don't see them losing to the Panthers, and I think we'd beat them again if we just utilized the gameplan we employed in the 2nd half of the game from a couple of weeks ago.
-
The Vikings are one of the most useless teams ever. Whoever wins Philly/NYG next week should make it to the SB.
-
I'm not really all that impressed with AP. He's got the Barry Sanders statline but he has an offensive line which makes matters worse.
-
My pick is Florida in a romp, but OU will add a couple of cosmetic scores late.
-
If that's the case, I hope God starts hating the Giants to the tune of 2 more SB victories in the next 3 years.
