Pretty much. The worst thing that happened to Gonzaga was they went from a legit perennial Cinderella type program that was underrated, to a bogus contender who is now amongst the most consistently overrated in the nation. When you don't play a decent team from the last round of preseason tourneys until R1 of the NCAA you can't be the 3rd (was that their high mark this year?) or so best team in the land.

The Zags have no heart. They were a cute novelty act years ago who duped the country into thinking they're national title contenders based on word of mouth and playing in a really dreadful conference on the West Coast. You know 90% of the guys on the East Coast who vote just look to see if Gonzaga won and then rank them accordingly which is why they've been highly ranked for a few years now. Inevitably though, the Selection Committee slaps them back to reality with a "lower than expected seed" shortly before they gag in the tourney.

Everyone should know by now, never trust the "powerhouse" Zags come tourney time.

I'm sticking with BC/Pacific at this point. I think it had more drama and the lead changed a few times down the stretch. Marquette was trailing the whole time I was watching.

No it's not the same. You're essentially cheering a blood rival, which means you're not a real fan of your team. Everyone who roots for the Big East is pissed at BC for leaving a conference that made them a national entity. It's NOT even close to being the same. Wait a minute, you're a sell out, and so is BC, so maybe on that level it is the same.

I want Winthrop to win for 4 reasons, I liked their swagger during Selection Sunday, I hate the SEC, I really hate Tennessee, and no one wants to see Bruce Pearl sweating.

These 3 games have been sleep inducing for the most part.

Marbury is the NBA's version of T.O. in that the stats look nice but he's a fucking cancer. So just to break up the monotony about the absolute worst 20 & 8 player in NBA history, I just thought I'd say that Carmelo hit yet another game winner on the road no less, just a day after the Bron Bron's once again disappeared in the 2nd half.
