    NFL Week 16

Lots of teams came up small today. I'm hoping the Giants don't follow suit.

Duh-sean coming up small again. I love that kid.

    NFL Week 16

Jay Cutler really does want to play like Brett Favre apparently. I'm waiting for Steve Somers tomorrow so he can rip on the Cowboys fans some more. "Poor Tony Tony Tony, playing another bad game in December. Hopefully, Jessica can cheer him up. Or maybe he and Jason can have a sleepover one last time before the season is over. It's good to have a best friend on the team."

Are you going to listen to the funeral on Wfan tommorow? All of them except for Fatso are huge diehard Jets fans. Yeah, I love listening to Joe lament the fate of his team. He's the only Jets fan I truly feel sorry for because he admits that this team will always disappoint him, but he can't stop rooting for them anyway. I remember when he was the overnight host and would constantly say that the Jets would never win another Super Bowl until he was dead. Evan is a douchebag however and I'm glad that he'll be pissed off tomorrow. The worst part about being a Jets fan is that they will probably bump Dolphins/Jets until the night game and your team could be completely out of it before kickoff if both New England and Baltimore win.

The Jets are pretty much dead now.

Minnesota's shitting the bed too. This is awesome.

    NFL Week 16

Denver really doesn't want to go to the playoffs do they?

    NFL Week 16

What's there to be careful about? I despise the other teams in the NFC East and would like to see them all suffer. If the Giants choke their way down to a three seed and then lose to Tampa or Chicago then they deserve to be ridiculed. The teams in our division could easily beat us in the playoffs which is why I'd like to see them all miss out on the party.

    NFL Week 16

I'd love to see Washington win today and then Philly beat Dallas next week leaving open the possibility that all three of those teams would miss the playoffs if Tampa beats Oakland or Chicago wins out.

That was pretty stupid, but I expect that from most players these days since they're more concerned with individual stats than wins and losses.

WTF were the Skins trying to accomplish there by kicking a 54 yarder into a swirling wind?

    NFL Week 16

Oh, goddamnit. Talk about salt in the wound. I'll take a 3 1/2 hour walk around the block rather than watching Dallas/Philadelphia next Sunday night. I CAN'T TAKE ANOTHER FUCKING DALLAS COWBOYS GAME. I don't think they can change the game to a night game since both teams have had at least five prime time games this season. That's what I heard on the radio this week. Dallas/Philly could be the night game next week. The Giants/Vikings can't, but it will most likely be Miami/Jets.

Never mind, common games comes before divisional record. I thought it was the other way around.

Wow, he led an 8-8 or 9-7 team to the playoffs in the worst division in football! His team was 3-7 against non divisional opponents. That's not MVP caliber. On top of that he's had four subpar games in a row at the end of the season. Incidentally he's played like shit ever since Arizona clinched their division, which happened just at the time that they started playing legitimate teams instead of the creampuffs in the NFC Worst.

    NFL Week 16

I wouldn't count out Kurt Warner either. I don't care about his last couple of games, he still led the Cardinals to the playoffs. He's done nothing in the last four games. That's not the mark of an MVP. He probably won't even play much next week either and even if he does they'd be foolish to let him, Fitz or Boldin play more than a drive or two. If he'd started horribly and then put up the numbers he did then he would have had a shot, but how can someone win MVP when they didn't play a really good game from Thanksgiving to the end of the season?

    NFL Week 16

The Steelers still have a lot of stellar players other than Harrison that have made them the #1 ranked defense. Without Ware, the Cowboys defense suffers horribly, if we're to take MVP in the literal sense... Either way, the MVP will go to an offensive player like always. The DPOTY will probably go to either Ware, Harrison, or Ed Reed. An MVP should be able to make the playoffs, which is why Brees is out of the discussion, and ever since Arizona stopped winning games Warner fell out of contention too. If Ware gets 25 sacks and Dallas still misses the playoffs how valuable was he really in the big picture? Without Peyton the Colts are 4-12 and Minnesota would not make the playoffs without Peterson. Dallas could still miss the playoffs WITH Ware having a career year which is why he's not getting serious mention for MVP.

Nice chokejob in Tampa Bay. These guys were contending for a home playoff game two weeks ago, now they need Atlanta to lose just to have a chance of finding themselves in the 6th spot.

    NFL Week 16

Because the Steelers have won their division and Dallas might not make the playoffs.

    NFL Week 16

I think it's safe to say that the MVP is down to a two man race between Peyton and Peterson now that Kurt Warner is definitely out.

Anyone have a stream of PIT/TEN? I can't watch anymore of this Cardinals debacle in Foxboro.

The Cardinals look like they might be the worst playoff bound team I can ever remember.

    This week in the NBA

I know, but when you're cold like that it's better to try something different than it is to keep jacking shots up from beyond the arc. If Riley had benched Starks during that abortion of a game he played, the Knicks might have won the NBA title back in '94.

    This week in the NBA

It was even worse than that as they went 5 for 37. After a certain point D'Antoni should have started fining guys for taking threes. Did this franchise learn nothing from the John Starks Memorial Game?

    This week in the NBA

Eddy Curry plays for the Knicks. The Knicks would like to trade him to the Bobcats for Boris Diaw and Raja Bell, since they play for the Bobcats and all. Try to keep up. To be fair, the other post says Diaw/Barbosa. I had to do a double take until I read your previous post about the Bobcats flipping them for Fat Albert and Lee.

    NFL Week 16

It'd probably still draw a better rating than anything else they could flex to, and we all know that's the main motivation behind the selection of games this late in the season.
