I look forward to BALT/DAL, PIT/TEN, ATL/MIN and CAR/NYG. Other than that the rest of those games are pretty much duds.

I think it's pretty clear that Dallas will either end up as the 5 seed or out of the playoffs since they have the tiebreak over Tampa Bay. In order for Dallas/NYG to take place on the opening weekend it would take Dallas losing to Baltimore and beating Philly, Atlanta winning both of their remaining games while Tampa Bay splits to get Dallas down to the 6 seed where they would play the 3 seed Giants if the Giants lose out and Minnesota wins out. It's very possible that Dallas could play NY in the Giants' first game though if they end up as the 5 seed, NY is #1 and Dallas wins while #6 doesn't, or if NY is #2, Dallas is #5 and both of the road teams knock off Arizona and Minnesota/Chicago on the opening weekend. I'm inclined to think the Giants will end up playing either Dallas or Philly in their first playoff game and lose in blowout fashion. I think this season is looking like the last two the Mets have put their fans through with the exception being that the Giants actually qualified for postseason play before the chokejob began.

Fuck Plaxico Burress up his ass with the gun he shot himself with. That selfish prick cost this team a shot at repeating as champs.
-
Big Ben's just havin' fun out there, tryna make some plays.
-
A TD here pretty much ends this Steelers/Ravens game.

The only reason I would say you should play 3 first is because 4 is better. If you play 4 first, you might not appreciate how good 3 actually is.

Did back to back kick returns just happen in Pats/Raiders?

Another horrible job on spotting a football by the blind zebras.

Not really. Denver still comes up a half game ahead since they went 1-0 in those games, while the Chargers are 1-1. It doesn't matter though since San Diego definitely does not deserve to go to the playoffs and it'll be more fun to see the Broncos lose to the 5/6 seed. It looks like Kurt Warner is playing his way out of the MVP discussion today.

Hmm, I vaguely recall another team getting screwed on a similar play by that Cutler guy.

Thank you Falcons. If the Texans had woken up before week 6 they would have been really dangerous this year.
-
I think Losman just wanted one of the NY based AFC teams to make the playoffs.
-
Losman's just havin' fun baby!
-
You've GOT to be kidding me. Fucking Losman.
-
The Falcons are really pissing me off right now.

The run "defense" from the Jets just got raped on those last two plays. Wow.

That's a pretty amusing series of 4 posts there. Even Dierdorf is surprised that the Bills are winning this game all of a sudden.

It just means that NASCAR can draw at least 100,000 to every race track for all 36 races. It's misleading because that's a minimum of 3.6 million fans, and even if 200,000 showed up to every race that's 7.2 million, which is basically how many people the Mets and Yankees draw in a given year. It's kind of retarded to consider NASCAR's entire attendance greater than other sports when a couple of teams in the same city can bring in that many fans in a sport that has fewer teams than NASCAR does.

When did NASCAR become a major sport?

Can someone more adept with the law please explain to me how a Minnesota judge can seemingly dictate a policy that extends to another part of the U.S. here?

I predict you'll be even more floored by the next dungeon's reveal. This game is awesome.

I have pretty much the same take on it that you do thus far. It does take a while to get started, but it wasn't as bad as Dragon Quest VII because at least there was a lot of character/plot development taking place in that time where you're not fighting. I think the choice to make this game more dialogue heavy was smart since you're supposed to be solving a mystery and don't have much in the way of clues. In P3 you were attempting to stop a catastrophe and the only way to do that was to beat up on the shadows and keep climbing Tartarus. Considering how highly I rate P3 (one of my top 5 games), I'm surprised that I actually like this one better in just about every way so far with the only exception being shuffle time doesn't seem to have weapons or healing factors this time around.

Where could he possibly go if things continue to get worse in Dallas? The guy has talent, but the amount of baggage that comes with it seems to pretty much cancel out whatever benefits he might bring to an offense.

Earlier today Mike Francesca was saying that the Yankees may want the Brewers to throw Hall into the package too. I don't know if that was supposed to be done so the Brewers don't have to pay any of Cameron's contract or for something else because I had to answer the phone when that came up.

http://www.sportsline.com/mcc/blogs/entry/6270335/12230187 That really doesn't make any sense since the Cubs didn't seem to be giving up much for the chance to acquire one of the better pitchers in the league.
