  1. Not that Keller's opinion is worth shit, but "Not the best Rumble. Not even close. But they kept it interesting. The final minutes were pretty dramatic. How Rey fits into the slated WrestleMania line-up of Hunter vs. Cena, Edge vs. Foley, Orton vs. Angle, and McMahon vs. Michaels is going to be interesting." Most people don't see Rey competing for the title, and that's the best thing that can come from Rey winning the Rumble in my mind.
  2. So much for it being an unpredictable final four.
  3. Carlito should win and then dedicate the match to himself.
  4. At least Orton won't win.
  5. It sure must be nice to get screwed with the # 25. I'm guessing it won't take long for HHH to eliminate him though to continue their lover's quarrel.
  6. Well, Rey's winning and he won't get the title match at WM so I think all in all he'd be better off just getting eliminated and not made to look like a fool by beating 29 guys one month and losing clean to Boreton the next.
  7. I told you guys that Lashley would be a bitch in this match. It was pretty obvious with the way he was sacrificed to Mark Henry a couple of weeks ago.
  8. I think # 11 will win, so I'm eager to see who that is even though 2 of the favorites are already in the match.
  9. I guess we know for sure that the winner won't be in one of the ME's at WM considering he won't even headline the Royal Rumble PPV. Anyone know where the WWE gets their drugs 'cause I could make a killing selling some of that shit here in NYC.

    Rod-Dick's whining and crying again

I wonder what happened to my post. Basically, Andy Roddick was complaining that he wasn't allowed to get a wild card into a tournament that starts tomorrow even though the entry to get in closed 6 weeks ago. He felt that someone should either get bumped because he's Andy Roddick, or that the tourney director should basically take back someone's wild card spot and give it to him instead.
  11. Shawn/Vince is going to be THE Main Event of WM in terms of hype regardless. It's got to be either Rey or RVD if the rumor is true. No one else fits.
  12. It looks like Rey's winning.
  13. The board would crash within 10 seconds of said event, but the opening minutes of RAW would be pretty interesting because there's no way in hell Cena would not get booed out of the building. The only thing that could possibly be worse from a fan's perspective is a clean Mark Henry title win in about 5 minutes.
  14. Orton/Rey for the next # 1 contender would be fine at WM provided they eliminate each other tonight. I just think that Rey wins tonight, loses the title shot to Orton at NWO and Orton/Angle is going to be the match they try to build to as the SD showpiece which makes no sense to me. If they go this route then Rey goes from the biggest win of his life right back to the midcard at the biggest event of the year, which is so stupid it's probably the plan they will most likely go for. They also would probably try to put Rey over Henry there to give him back his heat, foolishly thinking that a win over Mark is the same as headlining WM.
  15. I don't think he'll win it either, but I still think the WWE will let him co-Main Event WM even though Rey will likely win the Rumble, just because they're that retarded. If that's the plan, just let HHH win and make the crowd suffer for 25 minutes tomorrow night as he gloats.
  16. I'd buy it just to see the marks at another board have their heads explode simultaneously beneath the weight of Henry's sheer awesomeness.

Hot Dogs and Hot Dog culture.

Just another reason Chicago sucks. Give me a dirty water dog with extra KETCHUP and Onions anyday.
  18. I hope the father gets the max punishment for felony battery AND I hope the wrongly accused files a lawsuit for slander or libel, I forget which it is in this case.
  19. Logic and HHH's selfish desires don't always go hand in hand. HHH/Cena at WM, even as a non title match would likely overshadow the two title matches regardless of who was involved, so that could also be his idea of getting around actually winning the Rumble itself. I still don't think any plans have been finalized, but if something I read elsewhere that Rey would win the Rumble and still NOT get his shot at WM (Orton would), then I think it's safe to say that they've completely lost their collective minds.

WWE notes from Da Meltz on Figure Four Daily

He can, he just won't. That's why I've hated Hogan since the first time I saw him. It's sad that it took most people 20 something years to finally get tired of his bullshit and see him for the fraud he's always been. Every time I see Foley now he just reminds me of a junkie who'd suck someone's dick "for just one more hit daddy". Ugh.

    Australian Open.

I'm not Leena, and I don't know who it was but they said it was 1965, and that this was only the 4th time a woman's major final ended because of a retirement since 1900. Mauresmo was the best player here and it sucks because she would have beaten both Belgians and Krajicek no matter what happened to them physically or mentally. At least this time when she gets to # 1 they won't be able to talk shit about her not being able to win a slam.

    Australian Open.

The best part about Mauresmo winning is that now she has as many major titles as the pretty princess Sharapova who is without a shadow of a doubt the most overrated player on tour. With Clijsters and her winning back to back, who inherits the throne of "best player on tour with a major"? By rank it would be Dementieva or Schnyder but I could never see either actually winning one. If Vaidisova hadn't tanked HARDCORE against Maursemo I would have said her, now I just don't know. As for Clijsters I'm assuming she misses the two tournies she won last March which will cost her about 650-700 points alone.

    Australian Open.

You didn't miss anything. Mauresmo won the first set 6-1 with like 3 winners. I feel really bad for everyone involved. Henin-Hardenne doesn't seem like someone who would tank one on purpose just to avoid losing a blowout and Amelie didn't get to finish either Belgian off which isn't cool considering people will still doubt her title victory here.

    Australian Open.

I don't know about that. I'm sure she's going to try rushing back, like always, for Antwerp... which is in 3 weeks. And when she likely won't be able to play... she'll go on her site about how she's such a fighter, and why oh why am I always injured! She always pulls that crap, so it's hard to feel sorry for her. I read somewhere that she pulled out of it already, but the tourney directors expect her to show up as a spectator because they ordered 10,000 bottles of champagne to celebrate her reclaiming the # 1 ranking. I see your point, but if she has any hopes of healing she won't risk it at some low level event especially when she's going to miss the Pacific Life/NASDAQ 100 double in March which really was responsible for her rise in the ranks last year. She'll probably be # 4 or 5 by then if not a little lower. I think Mauresmo will win the first set 6-4 or 7-6, and then lose the next two 2-6, 2-6 just to make her rep as a choker that much worse.
  25. January 30, 2005 - Royal Rumble: John Bradshaw Layfield beat The Big Show and Kurt Angle in a 3-WAY to retain the WWE title.. ~~~Shawn Michaels was eliminted from the Royal Rumble match by Kurt Angle, who came back and tossed Michaels! ~~~Kurt Angle then assualted Shawn Michaels at ringside, ramming him into the ring steps and applying the anklelock!
