Of course it would be the one team I like.

So TB was the only home team out of 11 to win today. The last two weeks road teams are 22-8 going into the last two games of the week. The Broncos are really milking this injury shit. Shanahan is the sleaziest coach in the NFL by a wide margin.
-
No Merriman, no Michael Turner, a shell of LT, Norv calling the shots and a Hochuli fuck up doomed their season. I would never have imagined a team that was a preseason Super Bowl frontrunner could have played quite that poorly without their starting QB/RB on IR for most of the year.
-
The Broncos probably just finished off the Jets with that TD, and all but secured the AFC West now that the Chargers lost as well.
-
What's with all of these defenders concussing themselves on dirty hits today? Someone did it in the Steelers/Pats game, and it just happened in the Broncos/Jets. If some of these fucktards would stop leading with the crown of their helmet, they wouldn't be risking paralysis in hopes of getting on the highlight reel.
-
The Pats and Jets are both down double digits at home and imploding. Miami might just pull off a worst to first this year.
-
I'll be damned, I didn't think the Jets would shit the bed after pummeling the Titans last week.
-
Don't disrespect Ken Dorsey! He was the QB of the last great U. of Miami teams.
-
Big Ben's up to his old tricks against a good defense yet again.
-
The Packers are a disgrace. Now that Washington lost to the Giants, it's looking like Dallas might just get a chance to do to the Giants what the Giants did to them last year. If they end up as the 6 seed, they should be able to beat the winner of the North or Arizona on the road.
-
I think those 2 late picks that essentially ended the Saints season should squash the remainder of the Brees for MVP talks.
-
Anyone have a stream for PIT/NE? I don't want to watch DEN/NYJ since that one should be over by halftime.
-
The Giants have pretty much dominated this game, yet only lead by 6.
-
What a BS call against Webster, he hit him in the chest. Instead of getting a pick, they give up a TD on the next play. Ugh.

Did you not see the part where OU jumped up from .0084 behind to a projected .0150 ahead. They made up the gap and doubled it already. There's almost no way the other computers won't fall in line. You're stressing out over nothing. If anything, Florida will be closer to Texas than Texas will be to Oklahoma.

The coach that put Texas Tech at # 1 needs to have his voting priveleges revoked. Also, from sportsline: Oklahoma has the early advantage in its Sunday BCS showdown with Texas. It is a significant one. The Sooners moved past Texas in the Sagarin Rankings, one of six computers used to determine the BCS standings. Jeff Sagarin was the first of the computer masters to post their updated rankings. Oklahoma moved from No. 4 to No. 1 in Sagarin while Texas dropped from No. 1 to No. 2. What does that mean? Plenty. OU has a .0150 of a point lead over Texas now in Jerry Palm's CollegeBCS.com BCS standings estimate posted early Sunday. Texas came into Saturday with a .0084 lead over Oklahoma in the official BCS standings. The highest ranked team of the two in Sunday's BCS standings will play in the Big 12 championship game against Missouri on Saturday. Win that and either Oklahoma or Texas could play for the national championship against the Alabama/Florida winner in the SEC championship game. There is still a long way to go Sunday but momentum seems to be building behind the Sooners who made their final regular-season statement in a 61-41 over No. 11 Oklahoma State. BCSguru.com, another website dedicated to BCS analysis but with no input into the system, projected Sunday that Oklahoma would finish ahead of Texas. Still to weigh in, the five other computer indexes and the two human polls that comprise the BCS -- the Harris and coaches polls. Here is a very preliminary look by Palm at the top five posted on his site Sunday morning. 1. Alabama, .9839 2. Oklahoma, .9325 3. Texas, .9175 4. Florida, .8988 5. USC, .8107

You're wrong. Here's the last drive. Notice that they got their last first down with 32 seconds left. A knee ends the game since it took 57 seconds for their second down play, and another 42 to run the 3rd down play. http://www.sportsline.com/collegefootball/...0081129_OK@OKST Oklahoma Sooners at 2:20 1-10-OKST38 (2:11) DeMarco Murray rushed for 5 yards. 2-5-OKST33 (1:14) DeMarco Murray rushed for 4 yards. 3-1-OKST29 (0:32) Chris Brown rushed for 1 yard. 1-10-OKST28 (0:25) Touchdown. Chris Brown rushed for 28 yards. (0:25) Jimmy Stevens made the extra point. OK 61 OKST 41, Plays: 4 Yards: 38 Possession: 01:55.

The easiest way to eat the clock is to take a knee and walk off of the field. Every professional team does it, even when they're inside the 5 yard line. Only HS and college coaches with issues feel the need to score to take a two possession game to a three possession game with less than 30 seconds left. I'm surprised Stoops didn't try an onside kick there since it more than likely would have worked. There's NO chance OU isn't playing in the Big XII Championship. They clinched that spot last week and you seem to be the only person on the board who didn't get the memo. You worrying about their chances is like me worrying if the Giants will win 10 games this season.
-
Give me a break. There's not a 14 point play in the playbook. OSU had clearly said uncle since they didn't use the TO's BEFORE then, and Stoops was just being his usual dickish self. Just admit that much, it's not like your team isn't going to the BCS Title game either way, but don't excuse a bush league move by saying they needed that play. That was a kick 'em in the balls move simply for the sake of doing it. The game was over and # 2 was secured long before that "clutch play". I hope Meyer lets Tebow get his 7th TD of the game against OU late because he wants to make sure a 21 point lead holds up with 2 minutes to go since you never know what could happen when a team hasn't stopped you in the last 2 hours.
-
Oh I know he runs up the score all the time, but today wasn't the time to start blowing that horn. It was a hand-off to the running back out of a shotgun formation who went right up the middle and he made a move on the middle linebacker and the secondary was just out of position and he ran untouched into the endzone. When you're up by 13 with under 30 seconds to go, you could always just take a knee and end the game. The only thing worse than running a play in that situation would be taking a knee, then waiting until 1 second is left, calling a timeout and kicking a FG as time expired.
-
Do you really need to win by 20 instead of 13 to prove a point there? No, but Stoops does it all the time. The same way Urban Meyer does, which is why I can't stand Florida. It's the same reason I hated Spurrier when he was coaching the Gators. It's just not needed, and why I hope Oklahoma gets their ass whipped by the SEC representative even if it's Florida just because my Stoops hate is greater.
-
Stay classy Stoops. Stay classy. That last, completely unnecessary TD is precisely why I can't stand the Sooners and Stoops.
-
Do any of the teams in the Big XII know how to play defense?

The fact that the Giants gave him a huge contract is enough slack. He's been fined in excess of 40 times in 3 1/2 seasons, they already suspended him once and Gooddell might give him another week off (if not more). They don't really need to pay $5+ million a year for a guy who doesn't practice and is averaging 3.5 catches and 45.4 yards per game this year.
