McCain spent more time talking about getting a bracelet than anything else. I don't know why I expected anything more out of this debate. Ugh
-
McCain hasn't answered a single question that was asked yet. This debate is killing me.

Considering that they shouldn't have dropped to #3 anyway Georgia has to be #1 if they beat the # 8 or # 10 team depending on the poll. Now if Alabama wins on the road, I would think they would end up at # 2 or very close to it since that would be the most impressive win that any of the top ranked teams would have.

Ohio State looks even worse right now.

Delgado for MVP!

That's how I felt when I learned that the Yankees were officially eliminated.

1. Cincy because they have more talent, especially on offense. 2. No. They're the Texans and even if everyone else in the division sucked they'd still have 10 other games to deal with. 3. No. Matt Ryan has played 2 good games against lousy teams and 1 horrible one against a playoff contender. That's the recipe for an 8-8 type team if everything breaks well and 5-11 or 6-10 if it doesn't. 4. Yes. I hate the Steelers but Marvin's over the top fandom makes me want to see Big Ben and crew put up 50+ on them. 5. It won't. They were gonna "get that ass whooped" either way.

Did Bernie Williams show up to the funeral tonight?

Does ANYONE actually believe in their team this year? I believe that my team will end up missing the playoffs and that Minaya STILL won't fix the bullpen, although he will overpay for a closer now that Wagner's done for '09. Does that count?

It's like in basketball when they call a timeout to let a player soak in the applause. They usually do that if a guy is retiring or it's the final game of the playoffs and your team isn't going to win the series/championship. I've never seen that happen because they're moving to another arena. If Jeter's retiring tomorrow morning then they can gave him a 20 minute standing ovation and that's understandable. Other than that, who gives a shit that Jeter has played his last home game a block or so away from where he'll play his next one?

Since Marvin is so confident about Baltimore winning next week, I will now predict that Pittsburgh destroys them 31-3 with Ben throwing for 300+ yards and a few TDs and Parker running for over 100 yards.

I hope the Packers win tonight and the Jets lose tomorrow just so I can see the moment when Brett will lose his smile. I think Buffalo loses in week 7 to San Diego. The Giants should get to week 8 before they lose in Pittsburgh assuming they get by Seattle after the bye. Tennessee will lose next week to Minnesota. Denver goes down in week 5 or 6 to Tampa or Jacksonville since that voodoo curse can't last forever. Baltimore loses in week 4 at Pittsburgh on MNF. Dallas could lose tonight, but if they don't they've got next week against Washington, week 6 in Arizona and week 8 against TB. I see them losing one of those games. Green Bay will either lose tonight, next week at Tampa or in week 7 against Indy. I'll say Green Bay loses first (tonight), but of the undefeateds heading into week 4 I've got Tennessee losing next Sunday, a day before Baltimore loses. I guess I'll be a homer and say that it'll be the Giants who lose last, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was Buffalo or Dallas who will probably be 7-1 when they come to us at 6-1 on November 2nd in what will be the biggest game of the year to that point.

If the Mets didn't have crushing defeats as often as they do we'd have the most wins in the league. [/Marvin logic]

I hate being a Mets fan so, so much.
-
The Giants don't score and will end up losing here since the defense is gassed. It's one of those games that just doesn't make sense.
-
Bengals tie it on a FG. Ridiculously poor defense from the Giants in the 4th quarter.
-
Lol? If the Raiders can hang on, when was the last time they were above .500? I just checked and it seems to be in week 3 in 2004 (2-1).
-
Manning to Boss TD, but I think there's too much time left. Cincy will at least get a better than average chance to tie it up with a FG here.

How does someone as large as Brandon Jacobs run so softly most of the time? Ward and Bradshaw seek out contact more than he does and they're half his size.

It said Obama was endorsed by the KKK I believe. Another couple of signs mentioned he was for abortion and gay marriage.

http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/blog/big_leagu...?urn=mlb,108796 More verbal diarrhea from everyone's favorite pompous and sanctimonious douchebag Curt Schilling.

That was tougher to watch than when Campbell Brown was lighting up Tucker Bounds. It is amazing how the Republicans have the audacity to blame everything that has gone wrong lately on the Democrats being in partial power for 2 years when they had full control for the 6 yrs prior.
