I will grant you an extension. The time has come for us to discuss the amount of time that we will require to put together our booking schemes/wrestling cards, and how we will present them. I think the Merriman injury was catastrophic pre week one which is why I didn't answer the Chargers to # 1. 3. The Packers won't win this game, so I guess that's a no. 4. No. I think we'll lose by about 8 unless Eli starts this year the way he finished last year. 5. Nawlins will do it for the people, and then lose 3 of the next four or something like that.

I have the feeling that the Mets will stumble their way into the playoffs one blown save at a time, and then the bullpen will be great while the starters suck and we lose to either the Brewers in the NLDS or the Cubs in the NLCS.

As a New York sports fan (Giants/Mets/Rangers/Knicks) I can't in good conscience root for a team from Philly (Phillies/Flyers/Eagles/76ers), or Chicago (Bears/Bulls/Cubs -> NL East days), and I cannot root for the Braves, Celtics, Steelers, Redskins or Cowboys under any circumstances. It's kind of funny that the primary Boston teams that everyone hates in this area are OK by me since we share a mutual digust of both the Yankees and Jets.

I was wrong about tonight. I think I would have preferred for us to win yesterday something like 7-3 and lose tonight 3-1 just so that I wouldn't want to punch walls when we manage to piss away huge leads against the Phillies, but all things considered a split was what I was expecting anyway. I still don't see how we can win the division when the bullpen is so shaky, but at least the team is competing these days. For the next few days I'm going to have to swallow my pride and root for the Cubs.

That we don't need to worry about finding a name for something that won't happen because the Democratic party seems to enjoy blowing sure things. It's frustrating, but it just seems to keep happening.
