That was my favorite moment of this year's NCAA tourney.
-
Nash shouldn't get in on the first ballot either if he can't make it to an NBA Finals before he retires.
-
Just to clarify things, I'm taking the ECW era Super Crazy.
-
I'm happy for KG, but the Big Two and Ray Allen won't be as hungry next year. They'll win 50-52 games and lose in the 1st round to the 6th seeded Hawks in 7. And to all of you Boston haters, just thank Eli for saving you from the single most insufferable 3-4 months of sports talk EVER. I think the entire US would have needed a sports media blackout if they would have had the 3 trophies that matter until October.

I PM'ed mellow my pick since Broward's time ends at 5:44 AM where I'm at and I'll be soundly asleep by then.
-
I don't ever recall so many golf commentators openly rooting for a player to win a tourney. It's almost like they had money on Rocco. I feel bad for the guy, but Tiger losing there would have sucked after all of the great shots he made during the week.
-
Tiger birdies 18 to force sudden death OT. Crazy.
-
Tiger is choking this one away. Was 3 up after 10, is now even after 14 and looking like he's going to drop a shot here.
-
Wang is out for at least 6 weeks with a lisfranc (sp?) injury. Given that his arm will probably need time to get back up to speed that's more likely an 8-10 week injury.

Depends by what you mean by memorable. Actually, either way I don't see it. Winning the Masters by 12 in 1997 or winning the Open by 15 in 2000 will be more memorable in restropect due to the complete domination. The 2005 Masters duel with Chris Dimarco was more memorable as a competitive tourney. And the 2000 PGA was fantastic as well. I really hate the whole round playoff for the Open. Especially having a job and missing it. If it was a sudden death format, Tiger would have already won after the 1st hole.

You Celtics fans are going to be shocked when it's 8 against 5 on Tuesday night.
-
The second best player on that team was like Drew Gooden. LeBron faced this same Celtic team by himself and did way better. Kobe can't even get a shot off. I'd agree except for the fact that LeBron played like shit against the Celtics this postseason. Game 1 - 2-18 FG, 0-6 3P, 8-10 FT Game 2 - 6-24 FG, 0-4 3P, 9-13 FT Game 3 - 5-16 FG, 3-5 3P, 8-12 FT Game 4 - 7-20 FG, 2-5 3P, 5-8 FT Game 5 - 12-25 FG, 0-5 3P, 11-13 FT Game 6 - 9-23 FG, 1-3 3P, 13-15 FT Game 7 - 14-29 FG, 3-11 3P, 14-19 FT TOTALS 55-135 (.407), 9-39 (.231), 68-90 (.756)

I will predict now that the Lakers end up at least +10-15 from the line in Game 6 and that Game 7 on Thursday night will be the most hyped basketball game ever.
-
Didn't LeBron get swept last year in the Finals and look rather pedestrian (.356 FG%/.200 3PFG%/.690 FT%)? You can't have one series be the decisive margin between two guys when they're not playing each other.
-
Good pick. I was hoping to get him in another round or two.
-
IF the Lakers manage to win this game there's no doubt in my mind that they will have every opportunity to do so in Game 6. Basically, the refs will do whatever they can within reason to make sure LA has a shot to force a Game 7.
-
Looks like Tiger's going to lose here. Bleh.
-
It's been 8 hours since bps went, so I think I'm up now. If not, someone can just delete this pick. I've always admired his work and I think he's got the best mask out of all of the luchadores I've seen. With this pick, I'm going to select Psicosis to put up against 2 Gold Scorpio. I've got another pick or two in mind that can work well with either of these guys as well.
-
The Giants need to cut bait on Shockey and work out a new deal with Burress otherwise our passing game will have no legit targets.
-
I forgot all about D'Antoni at the time. I'm not looking forward to seeing his mug at every Knicks game this season.
-
Tiger's bitch is slapping him in the face so far.
-
Did you see him play at all against the Celtics this postseason? I almost didn't realize how much Pierce flopped because LeBron was outflopping him. On a more serious note, whenever he drives to the hoop and the lane doesn't part like the Red Sea he bumps into a defender and flails his arms wildly and acts like they're capable of knocking him down with a glance when he's running at full speed to the rim. Dude is like 6'8 260, the only person who should be able to blow him up like that is Shaq. If you've never seen LeBron whine about fouls, then you've never watched a Cavs game since he got there. NBA All-Flop & Whine Team G - Steve Nash G - Manu Ginobili F - Paul Pierce F - LeBron James C - Tim Duncan Coach - Popovich
-
Yeah, he's one of those few guys that ECW put forth as a good to great worker that didn't make it bigger elsewhere. I wonder how things would have turned out if he'd gone to WCW instead. He probably still wouldn't have "made it", but at least he wouldn't have been a joke character.
-
If only Pierce was as stoic as Kobe Bryant ... that guy never whines or complains about calls. Notice I said flop AND whine. One of the two is bad enough, but when a guy does both consistently I just want to kick him in the balls. Hence the hate for the three guys I mentioned, the Europeans and Manu.
