I don't believe he's been picked. He can work with just about anyone in my midcard and a few of the guys I hope to pick up later. I also can't help but mark for his work back in the day as 2 Gold Scorpio. We'll all just develop amnesia about his time in the WWF. It's just better that way.
-
Congrats to KG and Ray for picking up their first rings in a couple of days. But fuck Paul Pierce. He has now usurped LeBron and Nash as my least favorite player in the NBA. I can't stand when talented guys flop around and whine like bitches all the time. Leave that shit to the Europeans and Manu.

It's not like you lose out on your ability to make a pick if you miss the time limit, it just speeds things up for everyone else who is always waiting on the same couple of people to make their pick(s). If you can't get on in 12 hours then you just catch up when you can, but this way we're making at least 1 extra pick daily.
-
I think we need to go to 8 hours between picks.

That would make me feel better if Philly wasn't already going to be double digits up on both teams by the AS break. At least this season died a lot earlier than last year's did and there's not that punch to the gut then kick to the groin feeling about it.
-
All that means is that the Braves are much worse at the close games (3-17 vs 6-8). If you guys could win games decided by a run you'd be right up there with Philly since you're 29-17 otherwise.

Three in a row bay-bee! The Mets starters now need to go 9 shutout innings if we want any chance to win games.

Smoltz had shoulder surgery this week, but during his career he has accumulated 200+ wins, 150+ saves, a Cy Young, a championship ring and a dominant postseason record. Wagner. . . throws real hard, and gets taken DEEP when someone catches up with it. The ratio at which said player smokes a Wagner offering goes up when the game matters. Anyone who disputes that obviously doesn't root for a team he has pitched on.
-
Uh no. I have no faith in Wagner as a pitcher. If the game matters he will find a way to blow it. Until he proves otherwise he's just another guy who crumbles under pressure that cannot get it done in NY. He's also up there with Roger Clemens on top of the smarmy asshole meter for me.
-
If only they gave saves and victories when you were one out away from closing out the game. He blew a 2 run lead on Sunday and wasted Pelfrey's best performance ever. I'm so glad Wagner is the anchor of our bullpen considering what he contributes as a team leader on top of his fantastic ability to stop losing streaks.
-
I eagerly await your list of pitchers who calls out his team on a nearly daily basis and then gives up two soul crushing homers in the midst of what could be a losing streak that ends their season in June. All those hitless innings he compiled early on really don't mean much when you can't close TWO games that the team desperately needs. If he'd keep his mouth shut people wouldn't pile on, but when he walks around like he's the only one who can handle his business and then buries the team in critical situations year after year he deserves all the trashing he gets.
-
I'm sure Al will continue to tell us he's a surefire first ballot HOF'er, but this is yet another reason why I think he's worthless. Way to kill the team twice this week you trash talking piece of shit.

Only Doc Rivers would let Kobe get his last two shots off 1 on 1. There's no one else on the floor who's going to shoot the ball with confidence besides Vujacic, so there's no reason not to double Kobe and let someone else beat you. Way to give up the last 30 seconds too.
-
Vujacic is the only non Kobe worth a damn tonight.
-
It appears that LA has finally reverted to "Kobe and those other bums". Bad timing.

Is it time to see if Willis can possibly Ankiel his way back to the bigs? I can't imagine that he's shot at 26, but he's certainly looking like that's the direction he's heading in.
-
I don't even remember the Mike Williams you were talking about which is a pretty big indictment on his career as a # 4 overall pick. What are the odds of two atrocious picks having the same name 3 years apart? I didn't think the WR was drafted at # 4 but it seemed possible since the guy was rumored to be the # 1 pick if the court hadn't kept him out of the draft.
-
I'll agree with Mike Williams as the leader in the clubhouse regarding busts. Some people were labelling him as a Randy Moss type WR and he ended up being a slower, less sure handed version of Keyshawn Johnson instead. The only guy whose stock plummeted faster from the college game to the NFL was Maurice Clarett.

My first thought when Zen was in the leadoff spot was "he's going to get steamrolled". Isn't the idea to have the gladiators deliver the big hits on smaller people? I felt bad for the guy.
-
They list Crush at 155 lbs on the graphic, and that may be understating her size by a few pounds.

I wasn't really sure who I could pair with Inoki, but decided what better guy to use than one of his dojo classmates. With this pick I'll be selecting Giant Baba. While I still need to figure out how I want to use these two guys, I'm happy that I have them both.

I don't disagree, but I think that's one of the main reason I don't take the NBA seriously anymore. A foul should be a foul regardless of which court it takes place on. I understand the "superstar call/no call", but when Kobe's getting mugged in Boston and the Lakers take 10 free throws as a team, it's just as bad as him personally getting 20 attempts in the next game because it happens to be in LA. There's a difference between homecourt advantage and horrible officiating. 9 times out of 10 the NBA playoff game crosses that line in a big way.
-
Unsurprisingly, they called a foul when Pierce got hit on that play. Maybe Kobe should start wearing a headband and wristbands so he can show how much he's getting hit on just about every play.
-
That's not up to them. It's hard to win when you get outshot by ~30 at the line.
