But, but, they can take guys shirts off and bounce the balls off of their heads. Steve Nash can't do what Hot Sauce do.* * I'm well aware that every time guys like Hot Sauce touch the ball it's either a carry, travel or 24 second violation. In a legit game at Rucker the And1 guys would get their asses kicked.

I was talking about Nadal being classless. Every time he loses lately it's because "I have much muscle fatigue no?" or "hard to play when injury no?"
-
I think he's full of crap. He pulled out of his last event with a "groin injury" when he realized he had no hope of winning the tourney, yet he was running around like a gazelle at the AO in extreme heat. Fernando took him to the woodshed for 2 sets, and I believe he didn't call for an injury TO until midway through the 3rd. He's just a classless guy. I'd almost bet money on him playing Davis Cup in a couple of weeks, even though he's "injured" yet again.

For Pau Gasol? BWAHAHAHA. Did they think they were trading with Isiah again?

DP. As long as Serena doesn't win the Women's title I suppose this event can be salvaged, but I'd really love to see Clijsters/Vaidisova even though that probably has a 0% chance of happening.

I had Haas in 5 and Nadal in 3. The Haas prediction was right on the money, but Nadal LOSING in 3 easy sets was just an unexpected turn of events that I'm thrilled about. I can't stand that little cheater.

Welcome to NYC, the attention whore capital of the East Coast.

She was awesome. If she ever develops some confidence she could go really far.

Homeless Jesus Castro was surprisingly decent.

I missed the first 25 minutes or so, did anyone get through to Hollywood in that time? I managed to catch the girl that Randy said no to, but Paula and Simon put through right before that last break.

The competition. There are some people who end up getting deals that never would have gotten one without AI. While I don't vote, the interactive element does it for a lot of people who watch the show. Aside from having a say in the outcome (if you don't believe the producers/Simon decide everything) it's basically the same deal as why people watch shows like Survivor, TAR, ANTM, the Contender, TUF or any other show which has contestants regularly eliminated until 1 person wins at the end. I have both of Kelly's CDs (I don't really like the first one) which I got for cheap through BMG and a friend bought me Chris Daughtry's album for Christmas. Music is music and in those three cases their's was good enough to purchase.

When the vast majority (read: almost all R & B, girl group, boy band singers) of artists out there don't write or compose their own original songs and still can push millions of units why would you expect an AI contestant to do so? There's a reason almost everything sounds the same these days and it's because the same writers and producers create all of the hits in those genres.

Exactly. Zitz, the two mentally/physically challenged buddies and Ms. Chokesondick (she wasn't wearing a bra and her tits were halfway to her knees) and her mom were just too much for one day. Just show people who suck but are still normal. Out of the 10,000 - 15,000 that audition in every city you've got maybe 100 that have any talent, 100 plants and 9,800 to 14,800 normal but delusional people. Why do we have to keep seeing nothing but plants and 1 or 2 genuinely talented singers during every audition?

That wasn't a fumble caused by a devastating hit. The ball didn't even pop loose, as it was still in contact with Brees until Ogunleye just grabbed it. The announcers didn't even realize Brees had lost the ball until they saw Ogunleye throw it on the floor. Even if I count that, 1 out of 5 fumbles was caused by a big hit. That doesn't account for all of the times a Bears player just barely reached a hand in and the ball fell out, or all of the drops in the first half.
-
I don't recall any of those fumbles coming on the end of a brutal tackle. The Saints were allergic to the pigskin for most of the game.
-
Since it more than likely won't be snowing/sleeting in Miami, I don't see the Indy players fumbling away this game the way NO did. If Manning and Co. get a 10 point lead or so, the game will be in Grossman's hands and I don't see the Colts' DBs routinely getting burned the way that scrub Fred Thomas did.

Some people actually like to be able to root for (or against) one of the teams involved in a game to be excited by it. Just a thought.
-
Peer punked out too. It's looking like a Rod-dick/Nadal & 'Pova/Williams weekend is possible which means not only will I not watch, I won't even bother to actively find out who won. How do you decide between the two players in the draw you despise the most?
-
I'm not sure how I feel about this, but I just hope the guy is ready for the ulcers associated with working for Al Davis.

No fight yet from the soldier. If a fat, out of shape, rusty Serena wins her 8th Slam, I'm done with women's tennis for good.

This doesn't make any sense to me at all. You're going to penalize Parcells for having success with multiple teams, but laud Cowher and Belichick for being able to leverage continuity into sustained success? The former would be "revered" as a Marty-esque underachiever, if not for last year's Super Bowl win, and makes for an odd namedrop in this kind of conversation; the latter has had a ridiculous run of success, but has achieved it with a number of former Parcells draft picks. I understand that the current climate of NFL economics, with free agency and the salary cap, make it more difficult to establish continuity from year to year, but I fail to see how that would somehow taint Parcells' run as a coach. Wouldn't more roster instability make his success that much more improbable to sustain, especially across multiple stops on the NFL map? You're VASTLY overrating Parcells' success post-Giants era. He was barely a +.500 overall coach if you add in the postseason for the last 3 stops and won ONE lousy playoff game in his last 7 years as a head coach. He's the very definition of a guy who was living on past fame for the last 15 years.
-
He's not even a better coach than Belichick, and if the "lesser" Bill retired yesterday we wouldn't have gotten wall to wall coverage today. I guess I'm just over Parcells and his woe is me act after every retirement. Go away and stay away.
-
Yeah, it's not like there were any important games yesterday that they could be talking about instead.
-
OK, thanks for clearing that up.

Bears 56, Colts 0 as Grossman throws an NFL record 8 TDs and proves himself to be an elite QB.
