I agree, it's basically the same thing they did with that obnoxious Paris Bennett (sp?) and her famous relative last year. She got the early push, but the people hated her after awhile. I'm guessing the result will be similar this season.

I think that they don't want to pre-bias you towards any of the "Semi-Finalists" yet. I'd agree with you if the Crack Baby wasn't a lock to make it to the Semis. She's 16, the only minority that had a positive feature yesterday, has a story and a strong voice. It's kind of hard to forget that someone was addicted to crack, and definitely a "producers choice" to air her story and do the driveby on 11 or 12 of the 16 other people who made it through. In addition to her, I remember the cute brunette, and 2 armed services people got through. The rest got no TV time at all except the split second waving of the yellow paper, and that's my biggest gripe with the early episodes. Either don't tell anyone's story or give everyone who made it through a little bit of face time in a 2 HOUR show.

Oklahoma St. beating Texas 105-103 in 3OT (on a whirling 3 by the center I believe) was easily the best game I've seen this year, and I only started watching towards the end of the 2nd half.

Maybe it's the conspiracy theorist in me, but it seems like they went out of their way to pick a ton of really weak teams (the two you mentioned in particular) so the three that I mentioned and possibly Danielle & Eric would last pretty far into the game.

I only know teams 4, 5, 6, 7, 9 & 11. It sucks that Danielle is the one from the Pinkies that came back since Dani was MUCH hotter. I think this group looks set up for a Romber, Barbies, Uchenna and Joyce final 3.

I'd say it's better to be a Knicks fan than a Nets fan. It's better to root for the Cubs than the Devil Rays. I'd rather support the Jets than the Texans. Winning recently is great, but winning at all, even if it a long time ago is definitely better than being a perennial doormat or even worse a team with no support even when you win (NJ Devils).

It already is. You're confusing people who trick out their systems compared to the $500-600 dollar computers that can run most games right now. WoW for example or hell, look at Counter Strike or Half Life. Only people who need tricked out computers are ones who want to run Half Life: Lost Coasts with everything on (yay, my computer can) which is a minimum 2Ghz computer, 1GB ram and a bad ass video card. But it's only a tech demo and isn't what developers will use for any commercial game. Though the new Flight Simulator is a beast. Marvin was the one who said that people have no problem dropping 2G's on gaming systems, so he didn't think $600 for the PS3 was that expensive. I know a lot of people who play computer games on their do-it-all home system. I don't know a single person who owns a $2000+ gaming system, and it should also come as no surprise that I don't know anyone who owns a PS3 right now either although basically everyone I know has an XBox and/or PS2 at home.

They were going for the typical post-game embrace but LT was crying and running away basically saying "get off me!" like a 9 year old that just lost the little league championship game and just wanted his juice and chips. The 3 Pats were completely wrong there. If a guy has his back to you, didn't make eye contact with you and is walking away, it's pretty obvious he doesn't want you to grab him by the jersey and turn him around just to talk, shake hands, make plans for dinner etc.
