Buffalo has had 3 big plays so far, but that's all they need for a 21-10 lead over the Jets. 57 yd TD run by McGahee 77 yd TD reception by Lee Evans 58 yd INT TD return by Nate Clements

Denver's getting murdered 21-3 w/ 10:15 left in the first half. HA HA.
-
Willis McGahee steps on the hearts of Jets fans again w/a 57 yard TD run.

Ditto Leena's issue. I still can't see whatever I type on the Darkness skin. I have to highlight my post and then make corrections.

Does anyone know if 375 yards rushing is close to a single game team record?
-
and again with the San Diego offense.. Week 4 - Ravens 16 San Diego 13 .. is it some sort of coincidence thats the only game they've scored fewer than 21 points or was it just a fluke? That was in Baltimore. The rematch, should it happen, would be in San Diego. Chargers by at least a TD.
-
I think New England, San Diego and Indy can beat the Ravens at home or away. Cincy could also knock them off if Palmer's hot. The only likely playoff team with no hope against Baltimore is the Jets, and that's assuming the Jags don't end up sneaking in at #6.

I figured the 248 on the ground would give away that it was Indy that can't tackle anyone. JAX RUSHING F. Taylor - 9 rushes 131 yds, TD, long of 76 M. Jones-Drew - 6 rushes for 115, 2TD, long of 48 D. Garrard - 1 rush, 2 yds. The Colts are "only" allowing 15.5 YPC. Keep in mind that they gave up 191 against the Jags in their prior meeting, and only won because the Jags got stupid and opted to get pass happy, got picked and gave up the lead. They dominated that game and lost. This time, they're just pounding the run over and over again.
-
How the fuck do you give up 248 yards rushing in the first HALF?
-
Everything related to Sonic the Hedgehog after the first couple of games. Mega Man should have died a long time ago, yet games still keep coming out. Dragonball Z's 100 games.

If Minny does get AI, they wouldn't need to worry about salary once they complete the trade because he would boost attendance. The Knicks are about a billion over the cap and they still make money without selling out MSG regularly anymore.

Whenever I post everything is in white text on my screen.

Crimes of opportunity usually happen because people think they can get away with it after measuring risk versus reward. Crimes of passion/hate crimes are pretty obvious.

Are the Cubbies trying to wrest the # 2 payroll spot from the Sox this coming season? Dontrelle would get about $17-20 million in this market. Johan would get close to 25. I hope the Mets win the WS in the next few years because there will be a strike after the 2011 season.

Bloomberg is a horrible mayor. I expected nothing less than for him to take up another pointless crusade after trying to rid the city of cigarette smokers, all while we have tons more traffic because mass transit continually gets more expensive. The extra cars on the road are doing more damage to my lungs than people smoking in restaurants or bars ever did.

You can thank the Mets organization for giving Kris Benson that horrible contract which started the latest trend on shitty starting pitchers. No. Thank the Cubs for giving Soriano the most absurd contract since A-Rod's for allowing scrubs like GMJ to get 5 @ 55 and shitty pitchers to get $8-10 million this season, marginal guys to get 10-12, and top of the line starters 15+. It's like Kevin Brown all over again. Boras will want at least $16 million per for Matsuzaka now that Schmidt's gonna get 15.7 over 3 years, and well over $100 million over 6 years for Zito which may price him out of the Mets' range.
-
Mike and the Mad Dog just said Schmidt to the Dodgers for the bargain price of 3 yrs/$47 million. This is sheer insanity.

That first caller is the typical Marbury homer. So many "Knicks fans" get caught up in Steph's statline instead of the fact that every team he goes to gets worse, and every team he leaves gets better. Who gives a shit if you get 20 & 8 nightly if the team you're on goes on average 35-47 yearly, and you've been on ONE winning team since 1998.

Der Fuhrer admits a mistake
-
1. Tom Brady - 3 rings, and much more poise in the playoffs than #2. I'll take the winner over the stats guy in any sport. 2. Peyton Manning - He NEEDS to win a title to remove the label of postseason choke artist, although there's nothing wrong with being Dan Marino 2.0. 3. Carson Palmer - The best of the rest by a fairly large margin. 4. Drew Brees - No Gates, no LT, no problem. Still has a chance to set the single season mark for passing yards. He'll also probably be the runner up for MVP this year. On the Saints. No one would have believed you if you predicted that before the year started given that he was coming off of surgery. 5. Philip Rivers - This was more by process of elimination than anything else as McNabb doesn't strike me as a winner, while Rivers does. I don't rate Hasselbeck as highly as others do because he plays in a pressure free environment. No one else really hit me as being in the mix right now due to either injury issues or being a headcase.
-
So, how close is Boston now to passing the Yankees for # 1 in the league in payroll?
-
Geez, by 2011 the league average salary might be $8 million per.
-
When does the next labor deal expire? It's almost a mortal lock that there will be some strife and/or strike talks if these ridiculous salaries keep escalating. The more things change. . .
-
Yes, because the Seahawks never blow anybody out. Hasselbeck looked like crap this past game and putting 40 carries on Alexander shortly after returning from injury is just plain retarded. The only (potential) playoff team that wouldn't be able to beat the Seahawks under any circumstances is the Giants because they can't concentrate and would again suffer from 17 false starts and about 5 or 6 personal fouls.
-
There's still a chance for it. Indy/Chicago isn't a lock, but Peyton vs Ricky Jr isn't that unlikely.
