i'll stand by rage's debut album. but most of rage falls into sublime category from other thread.

huzzah! i did go through a sublime phase a few months back. that was funny. not much has held up as i pretty much murdered any redeemable qualities they have in high school. there's several groups like that. beastie boys is one. they aren't bad i just can't stand them anymore. everything in moderation. sublime's cover of hope is still pretty fantastic. some of their dub stuff is tolerable. i didn't listen to that in high school. just date rape.

i think bloc party is the only modern uk rock group i like. i stopped listening to them for almost 2 years. or year & a half or whatever, but in the past month have been listening to more. same with death from above 1979. i used to really love them. then not. then kinda like them. quite the cycle it is.

mik quit making these threads no one will respond to. plus them in the comments that don't warrant a thread. if everyone made a new thread for useless new albums this folder would be clogged. that said, i like bloc party.

i listened to the album right after all things must pass. to say the magic was gone would be an understatement. any & all of the beatle mystique was gone. it sounded like a middle of the road, forgettable 70's pop album.

wasn't harrison fed up because his songs weren't taken into consideration as much as lennon & mccartneys? didn't mac announce the break up of the beatles before anyone else decided it was over?
