lets be fair, all mellencamp is bad mellencamp. to totally contradict myself, that is one artist ill have eternal blind hatred for.

i've yet to decide on whether i like swan lake. the original listen yielded the exact same thoughts of vivalaultra. but upon repeated listens, i'm more bored than anything. thats the way both destroyer & frog eyes albums are for me. i am mesmerized by them at first, but never feel interested to indulge again. wolf parade, or even sunset rubdown, are completely different stories. i love those fuckers equally.

it was from freaks & geeks. im sorry.

clearing supporting something outside of the interests of others at tsm is just banky putting everyone on. obviously. and had timberlake came into music with a clean slate (no n'sync or other boy band allegances) i can almost gaurentee you'd all be more willing to give him more credit. and yes, for pop musical, sexyback is certainly unconventional. look at superjerk, ahem, damning indictment of the use "yeah". or how it stutter steps its way through barely audible & distorted lyrics. the production style of this song, with a blanket of electronic surges, deconstructs the popiness of it, not unlike when my bloody valentine added an additonal layer of distortion to beautiful pop music. it made it less accessible but equally enjoyable to the listener who wants to put in the time. now, don't say i am comparing this song to my bloody valentine. but this song did straddle the line between conventional & unconventional. arguably radio has never had anything like it. and there'll be plenty of imitators in the future. and you want to know why? because people who enjoy this type of music LOVED it. the cynical & overly self-conscious music snobs will easily dismiss it. which is fine. but, don't be ignorant enough to call it the worst song of the year. i guess playful sex & angry love is only acceptable whenever rock band does it. felonies, why are you using words like adjectives and verbs to describe music? you don't listen to music with your brain, you listen to it with your balls. can anyone imagine how wretched it would be to listen to music with this guy? guy: wow this is a great song felonies: its ok, but i'd have chosen a different adjective in the chorus guy: .......

listen. i never once said it was the best dance song. or even the best song on the album. the problems lies in people's ignorance. worst song of the year? song shouldn't have ever been breathed here. as mentioned earlier, how boring is it to pick on the pop stars? why not include a hold steady song? or some other criticall acclaimed indie rock band. that is much more interesting than picking on poor timberlake.

non-musical? what is non-musical? what is musical? what constitutes what? i've never heard more pathetically ignorant ways to hate a great song in my life. superjerk you wouldn't be such a sexually pent-up basketcase if you danced to sexyback just once. put a little strut in your step. it HAS to be better than being the laughing stock of the teacher faculty at school. just let go. bring sexyback. get yer sexy on.

since when do we judge dance songs by their lyrical content? come on felonies, what does it all really come down to? edwin gets it.

i am listening to kelis is here right now. which is treating me very nicely. i didn't really know what to expect. but she's carrying over the futuristic, spacey neptunes influenced sound that made the clipse album so enjoyable. of course, there are still the standard r & b tracks. but she has stepped outside of the normal mould, and the album didn't sell shit.

alright mole, you guys got played. don't be a dick to paul. its not like you guys didn't ask for something like this to happen.

based on rock music alone, i'd be damned if i could name 5 albums that stuck out to me. not to say that rap/dance had a better year, just that that is where my ear has been.

is the contract between drew & sox voided now? drew will have a tough time recouping what he passed up on in l.a. if he's really hurt.

i wouldn't expect you to like yoyoyoyoyo

better than nas's album. but a little too much hyperbolic praise based around the title. he's not just a rapper but a motivational rapper? fuck off. it is what it is. lyrically its the same as his first album. musically its a lot more restrained. more like the carter than lets get it. a lot of feebile attempts to have a banger like what you know. slower more intense. no real "crunk" song like bang. i think i liked more than lets get it. but nowhere near what the clipse or spank rock did this year.

why didn't you buy your kid 200 hundred dollars worth of toys, clothes, ect. or take her out somewhere. instead of WASTING your money for a meaningless little power trip. and using the words power trip is ridiculous. but not as ridiculous as you. uh oh. money bucks paul gonna ban me. seriously. gotta give mole respect. he found a total sucker to give him money for nothing.

pathetic paul pathetic
