exactly. this is all steinbrenner's fault. no one elses. anyone can blame a-rod. but his team THREW him under the buss. jeter is supposed to be the captain of this team. he should have put his hurt feelings aside & unified this team.

topping on the cake? seeing rudy guliani cr. please cry.

i am. thats what makes this so much more beautiful. my two teams. one of which in the world series. i've been a tigers fan since about 89. thats our nbc affiliate (wdiv) so i used to watch more tigers games with harwell & kaline than i did with the blue jays. i don't even remember their commentators from that time.
-
this is cashman's fault? get a clue, pal. bonderman usually isn't as effective as he is today. the yankees are helping him out bigtime. he's good, but the tigers have been talking about trading him in the offseason for some offense.
-
i actually don't hate the yankees nearly as much as most, but i hate their current team. i hate how the team is being run. so seeing them be eliminated in such a decisive blow out fasion is beautiful. they deserve every second of it. though my bride sorta feels sorry for the yankees. but what does she know. CARLOS!

the yankees will be completely overhauled. i expect torre to be fired by 9 pm et.

this is bringing a tear to my eye. vindication. i can wear my tigers hat with pride.
-
i guess. their costumes are just very unbecoming of them. and if i saw half hipster/half cowboys with awful moustaches and afros walk out of the local grocery store i'd certainly laugh.

Since ridiculous is par for the course in black metal imagery. thats rock n' roll

fuck felonies. you sometimes replace your ears with hipster cynicism. born to run is about as amazing of a pop song there is. i don't like springsteens rootsy mr. americana bob dylan-lite schtick, but this song is everything dylan is not. i don't think springsteen has ever been more fun. its a dance song. when you ivories being tinkled in the opening you want to find your gal & fucking dance with her. eventually you're going to have to remember that music is supposed to be fun, and constantly worrying about the lyrical content will only bog yourself down. i've listened to that line 50 times & i've never thought of how corny it sounds. i won't disagree, but fuck if care.

i love that the yanks are turning on themselves. i won't be completely sold until the series is sealed. then i'll discuss the yanks fall. i'm glad the game is about 14 hours after tonights game...it allows the momentum & hurt feelings to continue. no time to heal.

WE KNOW thats the greatest tsm quote.

zumaya was painting the corners will 103 heat. like bruiser said, he can lack command. plus people cna catch up with him. it was nice to see him switch it up a bit more today. his slider is progressing nicely. i am sorta scared about all of the attention he's getting. just a bad vibe from it all. cross my heart. fernando rodney is also dangerous from the pen. he doesn't have heat like zumaya but its high 90's. he's actually usually the set up man for jones, not zumaya. so he's real good too. the tigers have a really great bullpen, its about putting up the offense & having the starters get them into a spot for it.

seconded. illmatic & black album are close, too.

wrong std. i think we can thank syphillis for leena's instability.
-
turning to leena? the only thing can offers anyone is insanity.
-
life, too. between his hedonistic sexcapades and the crude tone to everything he types, there has to be serious issues down there. down down down dwon.
-
inc you're so far gone its not even funny. not even close.

the playoffs are usually clutch situations. it usually doesn't get anymore "clutch" than that. i don't care too much for the tacking on the stats argument, but something has to be said for his emotionless, and seemingly souless attitude.

come on now. i love the tigers but this is hardly a sign that they're gonna easily wrap this series up. the tigers got lucky that the yanks couldn't produce today. i am taking nothing away from verlander, but he allowed a lot of scoring opportunities for the yankees. two things impressed me the most 1. unheralded starts like thames & granderson coming through. 2. the tigers bullpen. the tigers strength is the yanks weakness. and vice versa. if the tigers can get a quality 5-6 innings from rogers, they'll be laughing. i just don't have enough faith in him as a starter. plus, with the tigers run & gun offense, they can easily be shut out as quickly as they can put up 10 runs. you can almost gaurentee that they dependable yanks offense will put up runs, but will their bullpen hold it? is johnson up to snuff? really, the yankees pitching is the worst in the playoffs. no one really thinks about how awful they are outside of wang, rivera, and sometimes mussina. johnson is sporting a meaty 5.00 era when healthy, and wright hasn't done much either. i don't know which way i am leaning. i think my heart is saying tigers & my brain is saying yanks. but i'd love to be proven wrong.

this place is like an elementary school. others calling other bad names others being tattle tails teachers threatening others for being mean wah wah wah honestly, don't any of you (besides aoo & inc) realise how silly you sound? aoo's point = leena's a cunt inc's point = let him graphically teach us about eroded ballsacs & penile exams.

reminded me of a cheeky counting crows album. words can't say how bored i was with how it sounded. i nearly fell asleep at the wheel. of course, in my near slumber i missed all of the lyrics which apparently are a whole lot more provocative than the music. doubt i'll revisit that bore. ps. i downloaded this because of pitchforks generous praise. when will i learn?

d'angelo jiminez is his replacement. man, that actually kinda sucks. guess crosby may be available for the next round, too. i personally like that the a's have taken the first two games. everyone leaped face first onto the twins bandwagon, and immidiately wrote off the a's because of what they did a few years ago. only 2 guys from those teams are left. its a new culture. i just hope they can go through.

didn't mulder have a broken leg. and hudson had the oblique problem. hudson tried throwing but he didn't pitch well. mulder wasn't even on the roster. that left like zito..and redman? to start. their pitching was decimated, and they didn't have much of a bullpen back then, too. of course they had a better offensive line-up then. my point is is simply that the a's now have 5 healthy high end pitchers at their disposal. i think thy're really going to be tough to beat as long as guys like thomas, kotsay, and kendall come up big. the a's batting line-up is not dissimilar to what the yanks had during their run. just a lot of small ball hitters. scutaro even had a big hit today. chvez doesn't even have a hit yet. he needs to pikc it up. but he's been real awful in the post season.

this is all so horrible. leena is hilarious in her role as the class tattle tail.
