you're so original

without sounding too typical, kevin smith lost anything great he had after chasing amy. although j&sbsb was fun because one could see the majority of the characters one last time. the plot, and especially, the jokes were really bad. did anyone see jersey girl? woof. give it up, kev. see you on degrassi
-
how cool do all of you feel now?
-
i dont reckon so.
-
i sorta liked the new strokes album. its rockier. kinda crunchy. seems the change has alienated some of its "original" fans. too bad the single reminds me of hash pipe. i also enjoyed the greatest. haven't bothered with anything else yet.
-
sorta seems like it sacrifices the charm of the original is that rosario dawson? boy, do i like her

1. one from the heart 2. closing time 3. small change 4. heart of saturday night 5. rain dogs ( even if i dont get it all)
-
what're you doing?
-
spoon, sam prekop, dearhoof had tried to devandra & cam'ron earlier, didn't like neither. i had several albums before hand which i liked, such as wolf parade (no thanks to pitchfork!) and silver jews (at inc's behest).
-
in an effort to remain hip on 2005 music, i downloaded several of the albums from pitchforks top 50 list. the only one worth a damn as the hold steady album - which is pretty interesting. even if its talking. there's a certain unsophistication about it that really gets to me.
-
me too, regardless of their mindless & mostly illadvised doped up tweedy electro-jamsessions
-
i don't like it either. at all. but i have very inconsistant & irrational musical tastes.

if he keeps winning people will get tired of him & stop watching. with your logic, ratings will plummet. apathy, my friend, apathy. but i refuse to argue furhter as i could care less about the entire situation.
-
they shouldn't invest their time into a good guy champion who the crowd seems to hate. its not proper logic. people don't boo babyface world champions to be cool. they do it because they are tired of him always winning & being champion. notice how they boo whenever he wins? they will cheer when he loses. thats a natural reaction. i think thats quite obvious, isn't it? do i need to teach wrestling 101 to you guys?
-
Your suggestion for champion is much better, I can't believe I didn't think of that. Thanks for the input! oh no, burn. a wrestling burn. i could care less who is champion. your logic just seemed sorta silly.

manuel was the most versatile. i agree his tenor reached ear piercing levels at times. my favorite, by a long shot, has always been rick danko. his voice has a lonesome quality that only some of the old country greats used to have. a very emotional voice. levon's was great because of the thick southern accent. it was almost syrupy over the rest of the music. honestly, manual is probably my least fav, too.

stage fright is almost, maybe even equal, to THE band's first two albums. they were great, though. they kidna lost their magic towards the end. but even that wasn't half bad, considering they had three of the greatest vocalists & one of the tightest rhythem section of all time. every piece of the group made sense. they had the chops to pull off whatever they wanted. it seemed to come so easily, although their mid 70's output kinda proves to the contrary. they were sorta responsible for dylan's finest musical contributions as well. no one sounded like them at the time, nor has anyone ever really sounded like them since. can't really go wrong with the band. not at all, i reckon. just listen to their harmonizing on the aforementioned THE weight. i mean, c'mon, its beautiful.

loaded glove knows as much about wrestling as he does about rap music

..has to be one of the weakest beatles outings in the popular 65-70 timeframe. can anyone please explain to ym why it is so highly revered? like abbey road obliterates it. completely. the white album is a better, but only suffers in its generous length & eclectic selections. rubber soul & revolver show signs of it, but are much poppier & exemplify what made the beatles great. pop songs. but sgt peppers starts out so well. but after song four it becomes quite difficult. not the intriguing type of difficult. they were just songs that seem almost weak in comparison to their satanic majesties. the album is nearly saved from complete mediocrity with a day in the life. but man, this album is a stinker. how did it make brian wilson lose his mind? but abbey road, kids. up there almsot with the first band album, between the buttons, & blonde on blonde as the essential 60's albums

yah. any passing music i dont listen for it. if i sit down & chose my music - there's a reason for it. i am investing time. music i am forced to listen to i just let it crawl through my ears & no further.

nope. since you been gone is better. because of you is far too contrived in its message. the video makes it lose even more points. bringing a kid into mindless/emotional manipulating subject matter reeks of desperation. kinda like green day and others bringing wartime scenerio's into their baseless lyrics. You're looking for depth in a Kelly Clarkson song. Just lettin' you know. nope, just discussed the video. i dont listen to lyrics. usually never. especially not on muchmusic.

had great fun.

so you'll be the over aged creep who all the high school girls make fun of all night? somebody needs to do it.
