Fuck KKKramer, He's lucky that he didn't get his ass beat. I suprised that no one threw a chair at him, Heckling is apart of the stand up game, a talented comedian would've spun that around easily without attacking someones race/ancestory.

I just got the album, I was wondering if it was worth hype that the internet rap community was giving him. After a couple listens, I would say yes and no, he doesn't blow me away with lyricism(on this album) that people were claiming, but his concepts are lil different and he has good wordplay. The album as whole is solid about 4 mics, eventhough i've heard better stuff from his bootlegs. Production was blazin thou. Thoughts?

I liked "me too" but there haven't been a follow up song, or no strong push to play the record.
-
People tend to overrate him so much, he gets a little backlash from it, because the media hype him up as the next savior of rap.
-
Damn, alot of quality rap albums are kinda going under radar lately (i.e. Rhymefest, Method Man), but this album after a couple of listens this is a very good album, slight upgrade from "Tipping Point." I think with Malik B and Dice Raw back rapping takes load off Black Thought and keeps the album enjoyable thru out. Cool lil tribute to J-Dilla btw. 4/5 Mics

Ma$e did screw Puff by "Retiring" thus Puff didn't have a bread winner on his label after that. Eventhough, Puff's R&B acts were somewhat successful, they couldn't draw like Ma$e could have. How ironic that when 50 started off some people compared him to Ma$e but now he has him. 20 bucks says that Ma$e either 'doesn't make an album under G-unit' or if he does it goes triple copper and gets dropped.' Ma$e will take the Snoop Dogg route, label hopper 4 life.

I bought this album last month, I must say that this album is solid. Some good standout tracks "Bullet," "Fever." and "Dyanomite." I got it cheap for like 8 bucks at a circuit city. This is a sleeper album that gets no hype thats better than whats out now. IMO Thoughts?

Thats a good list, I would include No Limit's "TRU to the Game" album. Aquemini was the best Outkast album in their catalog.

Big Pun hands down, Pun was versatile with his lyrics and delivery. Would say Fat Joe but Pun, Cuban, and Armageddan was ghostwriting Joe's lyrics.

Game album was aight, was production heavy and radio friendly songs. He needs to stay away from paying homage to every rapper in every song, I know appreciate rap and all like I do but damn. "Doctor's Advocate" is make or break for Game, him and Joe Budden are pretty much in the same boat. As for, G-Unit no one will go plat again outside of 50 and maybe Banks unless they just make G-Unit compilation album. Awaits for the new Ma$e album. hahahaha

I got the "Murray's Revenge" album with 9th Wonder producing most of the album. I thought it was decent, dude has some potential. Rawkus> Def Jux

Rock City was better IMO. I gave that CD 5 mic's. 400 Degreez could be arguable 5 mic CD, simple because of Mannie Fresh's amazing production. Mannie Fresh is by far the most underrated producer of all time IMO. Personally I hated Rock City. HATED it. I like everything else he has done since and before honestly, but that album just wasn't very good to me. I didn't care for "Rock City" either, it was all over the place, it was a like a Mixtape album. My Five mic albums that weren't: Wu Tang Clan: Wu Tang Forever The Roots: When things fall apart Mos Def: Black on Both Sides Talib Kweli: Reflection Eternal and Quality Outkast: Southernplayalisticcadillacmuzik 50 Cent: Guess who's Back, eventhough it was a mixtape album IMO. TRU (No Limit): Tru to the game Goodie Mob: Soul Food Eminem: Slim Shady Lp

As a Rap head, Nelly is fucking garbage with nursery rhymes. The kind fans I don't like is the "Casual rap fan" like some of you on this site, by some of your logic that to determine a good rapper is by sales, and by that logic Nelly is a better rapper than Rakim because he outsold him. WTF?

My girl got us some Bulls tickets against the Heat, were kinda disappointed its a matinee game. The Bulls are going to wear those Green Jerseys thats day, so maybe they'll give those away or something.

Kanye West, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Common (sorta), The Fugees reunited with Lauren Hill, Dead Prez, Erykah Badu, Jill Scott, The Roots, John Legend, and Big Daddy Kane. Might have missed a few. You forgot Kool G Rap made token appearance along with BDK, they did that set with the Roots. Central State marching show band a college from Ohio did the parade. I wanted Common to do solo set with his songs and interview, but he didn't have neither, he just did his spots on other songs that he was featured on. No interview from Kweli either. Best part of the movie when the Fugees got back together and performed.

Yea, lyrically Bubba did alright on that Booty track for what its worth, then ying yang twins brought it down.

I saw it, and it was pretty good. It was a mixed audience at the theatre I went to. It felt like I was at the concert cause I was quietly singing along, most people that did perform I got their albums. If your not a rap fan or believe that rapper aren't musicians this will prove you wrong. I thought it was funny when Fred Hampton Jr came to the stage, raising the fist doing the "Power to the people" stuff and white band member raising his fist and the air. I thought that was lost on white audience in the theatre and the Dead Prez segment and ?uestlove calling Jill Scott a "Beast" heard a lot of laughter from them, must of thought he was talking about her physical appearance.

Paul Wall is totally wack, he need to stick with the "Chopped and Screwed" (eventhough I don't like them) tracks, and making grills for others.
-
I saw Madea last week, and thought it was a little "soap opera" ish and all over the place with subplots, but it was ok. Less Madea scenes made the movie a little better than the first. I saw Block Party, and it was good, the concert scenes blend in Chappelle's jokes/commentary very nicely. I have most of the artists albums, so I was singing along like I was there. I like the interviews from the artists as well.

Scarface is still GOAT of Houston, Bun B is alright. But the rest them I don't care for. On net, all I heard how Chamillionaire was the next big thing out of Houston and I still aint impressed, and Paul took all of Cha's shine, when Paul was consider the weak link of the group. White dudes with plat fronts=album sales

Cam'Ron plans to confront Internet Pedofiles on new DVD
ant_7000 replied to UZI Suicide's topic in Music
I think it'll be Nas, Jayz, and Ma$e lookalikes. It'll be funny if he exposed R. Kelly. I can imagine what would Cam would say to them. Cam: You got busted Doggie. You Mad! You Mad! Cam: Its Dipset!! I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I!! (his) Album (Or Insert Dipset Member) in stores now. Cam: Boy Boy, your shit disgust me. Catching people while wearing Pink and/or Purple outfits. -
Dilla had loopis (sp?). From the stuff i've heard from him, I liked it. He did produce a good track on the Little Brother album. RIP

I wasn't feeling Royce's "Independents Day" it was like the "Rock City" album, he was tryin too hard to be versatile. But the last couple albums has hot. Side Note: I read that Ghostface got booed at a show at Howard U.

Its good to hear that Nas signed to Def Jam, he'll probably go multi plantinum more often.
