I just want to say, the guy who wrote that first recap? Best wrestling writer ever
-
Perhaps the weakest of the three but I enjoyed it. I did feel that a number of appearances weren't very neccessary, though. I think they did a great job making Phoenix look as powerful as she's supposed to be. Beast is fucking awesome. Didn't care about the comic inconsistencies...

Another reference to the Reformation of DX

Yeah because they are awesome -
Is anyone watching this? People are talking about it in an ROH thread but I felt it deserved its own. Right now they're showing matches from a Navigation w/ Breeze 2004 show. KENTA vs. Jun in his singles trial series...

Exactly how I feel about this. The effort it's taking to implement HD technology doesn't seem to be worth the simple bump its giving in picture quality. And aspect ratios will continue to be mixed for any program that uses old footage. Pillarboxing is stupid.
-
It's an interesting thought, but I'd doubt it since the WWE will probably be using their own cameras/trucks and I don't think they are equipped for HD.

His belts spin. 'klEk is correct. The other is only accepted because of its popular misuse. Emphasis not added.

35. Comes off really fucking lame when he tries to make fun of heels, though I'm sure the kids love it. 36. Spelling "clique" on new shirts "CLICK", promoting incorrect spelling AND pronunciation of the word. 37. Can't properly apply an STF. 38. The fact that he talks like that in all of his interviews.

So she's a dirty slut because she was excited to travel with two of the biggest stars in the industry?
-
Not only this, but the new stuff he's been doing in TNA hasn't been quite up to par with his previous work. I'm starting to wonder if someone other than Sahadi should be the one credited for all the good work over the years.

In the cruelest of ironies, the word is actually spelled mnemonic.
-
HAHAHA. "No, no, it's okay. Zyience only..." I love it...

The debut was set and announced for Wednesday, but some delays from Rogers at the last minute bumped it to Thursday. It's a free preview right now.
-
If you have Rogers Digital you can see it for free for like a few months. Highlights include: Ring Of Honor FMW Pride FC K-1 IVC Vale Tudo Japanese Nude Catfights

Was pre-empted in Toronto due to the Leafs game. Was on everywhere else in the country, though. Go to liveaudiowrestling.com or thefightnetwork.com to hear the archive.

Wait... you mean the song mentions him, or he's actually in the song - as in rapping? If it's the second one, someone must upload it LAST WEEK. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> LOL he doesn't rap he just says "I'm the best there is the best there was...etc.." in the chorus. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The song was made for the Wrestling With Shadows soundtrack. That line in the chorus is just a sample from a promo he cut in the WWF that made it into the movie. He is in the video, though. The Rascalz rescue him from some mad scientist by throwing records and mics. Bret then does away with the scientist by giving him the softest looking scoop slam I have ever seen. Then the Rascalz continue rapping as Bret pumps his fist to the beat, looking exactly like how you'd expect any 40 year-old Western Canadian to look while doing so.

83. He is a human.

No need for trainers when the women don't wrestle.
-
I'm excited to see him in TNA. And about the Heyman talk, what are the chances of him joining TNA once his contract is up?
-
I think you want it to entirely be a work so that you can regain your faith in the WWE's ability to entertain us. Tonight was a great job but let's not get carried away.
-
Alright, I concede. I guess I tried to keep up the fantasy but it was just getting too hard. Damn you for breaking my 10 year old heart.

a) The nature of the angle, or b) They want it wiped out from our collective memories.
-
The Angle Invitational was tremendous. MOTN by far. I don't care how short these things are, they are so exciting to watch with Angle in charge. He'll make the biggest smark believe that a no-name indy wrestling teacher could get the best of him.

That's how I felt about it. I just liked thinking about it so much that I didn't even want to look up the "truth" on the net. But after seeing the proof, or lackthereof, it really seems to me like the ones who are so adamant about this being a preplanned work are the real marks here.

It's easy to know that this is not a complete work simply because it is an established universal law that WWE writers can never pull off something this good. It's a worked-shoot gone wrong. The cameras and crew were informed in general terms beforehand what would take place, but they didn't know what would come out of Hardy's mouth and they didn't know how real the situation would have gotten. I think it's likely that the crew were just confused as we were watching it. There were just too many subtleties that I can never in a million years even attribute to a writer such as Paul Heyman. You could see Edge and Lita get angry at the Agents after the first beating. No matter how "shoot" they were going for, they would never have the sense to tell Edge "after you get beat by Matt, act angry at our agents and act as if you felt like they knew what was happening and you didn't. Act like you were being screwed. Oh, and also say 'fuck' a few times. And let's not bleep them." You just simply don't go from pisspoor writing to such intricate and subtle depth over the course of one week.
