Also thank you all for your constructive criticism towards my website. I have made most all the errors that have been brought up.

Just to clarify, I do not own NMB, I simply host their site now, as I do several other sites. They just happen to be closely related.

When I get some time, I will re-compile the forum database and it should be corrected then, but we are talking about a few million post it has to go through.

I obviously put it together too quickly and screwed up. Spelling is my worst subject in life btw. Thanks for letting me know the corrections.

The banned posters being able to send PMs is not meant to happen, I will fix this. They can still browse though (+ Page views). I am on AIM, YahooIM, & MSN 24/7 leave a message if I am not there, I am fairly easy to get a hold of. The post per page I figured would make things easier to follow as TSM seems to have many post which are 10+ pages long. Its an early Christmas present.

Account theft, involving hacking, backend access or some sort is bad. Account theft involving someone actually guessing another’s password I see as a joke personally.

What is the reason for all the name-calling towards me? Because I reversed a decision, made by a staff member, who changed a board members name from 'Princess Leena' to 'Princess Cunt'? I am sorry, but first off, that in it self is both unprofessional coming from the staff. Second her actions were discussed a month ago in the staff folder, and several staff said that her actions were not ban-able, and to let her be unless she does something harmful. One staff member even said it would be low of them to ban her now, since its been so long after the facts, yet now it seems many of them are all hypocritical now? Have your own opinions on things and stop swaying with the crowd, just because they are a mod or staff, doesn’t mean you have to agree with them. It is VERY unprofessional for a staff member to pull such a childish prank and sink as low to rename a member. As for you all who like the name-calling, keep it all in the Chocolate thread, as it will be removed from here soon. This is site feedback, yes, but not cuss all you want to the forum owner who has graciously paid several thousand out of his own pocket for several years. I am not saying its ok to buy you guys off, its great to disagree, but seriously, many here need to grow up with the name calling stuff & put a little more thought into what you say. I suggest you all review the sites rules, as it states, “If you have a complaint, be reasonable, when posting it.”

After talking with her, the account she did gain access to was because the password for the account: dreamer420, was "dreamer" and like I said before, if there is some bit of proof about the e-mail being changed and then a password being reset, that would be one thing, but there isn’t & this issue is nothing new at all. I realize she logged in under his account with her IP, but what does that prove? I am sorry, but I realize this is a message board, and if you set your password to something stupid like that and someone else goes guessing it, that’s your problem. On the multiple accounts for a reason, in the admin folder, we agreed a month ago to not take any action and found it as a small hole in the rules, as the multiple account were never used to post, only used in voting in the polls.

I use a little of everything... Just to name a few good distros I use for various purposes, clients, etc are: RedHat (yes, its still free, provided you compile the source your self), Fedora Core 3-5, CentOS, ClarkConnect, E-Smith, Knoppix, BackTrack, Cluster Knoppix, i give up there are too many... Haven’t given ubunto a chance really, but I focus more on servers than client alternatives. Nice to see a good topic in this folder too!

Lol, he lives in a different subnet... If that makes sense to anyone who understands networks.

He will become a TSM Partner, this is not done by a one-time donation, but continued support. He will also be bringing new ideas and help back ideas, since I personally do not have much time to show my face around here. The actual server cost on a monthly basis is about $90 a month, give or take some, if I have to add more ram down the road or things like that.

Just to correct the above post by dames, the money is going to upgrade the forum for LIFE, NOT the server upgrade or anything like that. Server upgrade has already been taken care of.
