Anvil left the WWF in 92 and went to WCW for a very short and forgettable stint. he used the Million $ Dream as a finisher (Anvilizer - which is 10 kinds of lame for a name) and had a few squash matches, mid-level matches at best. I don't know if there was a specific reason for him leaving or if his contract was just up and the WWE had nothing in mind for him. I guess he did indies after that until returning at KOTR to turn on Bret and help Owen win the crown.

Pillman & Z-Man I agree with, they were a great combo could have done great things in the very strong tag-team division back then York Foundation - I'm gonna go with nah on that one, Tommy Rich (over the hill) Ricky Morton (over the hill) and Terry Taylor (never recovered from being a Rooster) It was a mid-card gimmick that was alright but Rich & Taylor were forever midcarders and Ricky will always be the "in peril" half of the Rock'N'Roll Express

Well to be fair you can't compare Dusty and Ron Garvin though, exposure wise, fan wise, charisma wise etc Dusty had Ron smoked - Ron just had the "Well no one else wants to be a lame duck champion" reign and otherwise just a mid-card career.
