No idea on what sort of Bruce Blank booking will be seen next week yet but there will be an update on the SIT / Dance Dance Dragon situation - the SIT carried Dragon off last HeldDOWN, but why? Where are they? what do they have in mind? and why the heck have they allowed OAOAST cameras to capture it? Also a request to anyone who needs a jobber opponent - if someone would make Ultimo Villaño X look overwhelemed and overmatched on their way to squashing him then it'd be greatly appriciated (I will eventually go somewhere with it, but for now "Squash On")

Seems that someone closed the Tom McGee post thinking this isn't WWE related and it probably does belong in the classic section. If I'm not mistaken Tom McGee was this strong man that Vince was very high on because he looked like a MONSTER physically - he had a dark match with Bret Hart and the Hitman made him look like a million dollars. So they signed him and everything only to find out that Bret was the 999999 dollars of the match and Tom was about a buck worth of talent, hell he may even give you change back on a buck because he absolutely SUCKED in the ring. I think they had him on house shows and dark matches for months and months hoping he would improve but finally they gave up on him. Moral of the story - Bret Hart could make ANYONE look good back then (Late 80ties)

I just gave the show a quick read - good stuff from top to bottom it would seem - I did pause for a moment on the tag-team tournament Denmark eh? I dunno if it's common knowledge around here but I'm actually from Denmark

*Raises hand* It was me, I needed a match with a masked man to work with the Bruce run in angle and all so I found Dark Predator and hooked him up with Belial for a bit of fun. I love the high flying stuff but the SWF is stuffed with little flippy-floppy guys so I chose a big brawler instead for my character I'll comment when I've had time to sit down and give it a proper read through.

if this had been during the Wild & Dangerous days I'd say his shoulder hurt from carrying Johnny intriguing stuff - as long as it doesn't lead to retirement.

Goldust was injured and couldn't actually wrestle a match - even a Warrior Squash match as it would have aggrevated the injury Plus there was no point in putting the IC title on Warrior at this point. As to WHY it happened at all then - lord knows.

No upset there -=-=-=-=- Insane Luchador vs. Ciro Vitale Again a really good opponent in the first really competitive match for Vitale. Can I say that I'm sorry to hear that, you're one of the names in this group that I was really looking forward to facing - but it's not like you quit the fed, I'm sure I'll face you down the road

All this talk about the tournament format and all is completly moot, the winner will just job to An Octopus at the very next show either way.

I'm just anticpating issues here, the complaint was brought up before when I suggested that the actual crowning of the champion was at the PPV and just have qualifiers at Lockdown instead. Personally I like the format, it makes each guy "earn" the shot and it helps establish the next champ with a big PPV match. Oh and add to that - they could also legitimately lose their qualifier anyway

If you're talking about the Cross promo on Smarkdown, then honestly I couldn't really make heads or tales of the last third of the promo with jumps in logic and all I just kinda stopped reading before the "International" reference And hey Cross in this thing *is* special - he's be the only guy in this thing I haven't beaten yet, so that'd qualify as special I suppose

Well some have PPV plans it would seem, so they may object if said 4 way is set for the PPV.

Cross never said said anything about being in it and that Raynor had something "Special" in mind for the 8th spot. ANd it's official in the way that those are the people that have publically indicated that they want in the match.

He had surgery for it - that's why he wore a shirt for Rock/Mankind at the Rumble (the famous "I quit" match) and a while after that.

I've read that as well NJPW had both faction wars and an invasion angle before the nWo I want to say something along the lines of "Ishigun/Shegun" faction war (names may be off) and NJPW VS UWFI (again UWFI may be the wrong name) for the invasion angle

Quebecors were a lot of fun to watch and great to hate, exactly what you'd want in a team (and they had the team aura not just a "slapped together" feel that most teams have today) and I believe the Killer Bees used a double Drop Kick as their finisher
