November Reign Fallout Ramone Juan Jesus Guterrez (w/El Esperito) Vs Kenji Kawada
-
“It” is an experiment in writing a character who does not approach matches like anyone we’ve ever seen before – which is hard because I’m so used to writing matches like we see them on TV and not like a guy who’s approach to it is so different than a trained wrestler. I toyed with the idea of having Kawada overcome the odds, but I got a long term storyline for him and overcoming the odds like that wouldn’t have worked, I had 2 survivors just to mix it up a bit because like you said most people would expect Kawada to win or at least come very, very close. And I was expecting to be on curtain jerking duties with the match so I was surprised to see it as the last survivor series match. Now for a bit of feedback myself, I haven’t read it all yet just skimmed it but what I’ve read so far has been totally excellent. Heavenly Rockers/Sooners – The Sooner’s grip on the titles remain strong although I there were a couple of times where I smelled a title change. Really good match Five Burroughs Vs the W.A.C’ers – fast paced really solid action that served to solidify Reject as “the man to beat” in many ways, excellent. Team Canada Vs Team USA: Unlike the Sur Series 97 Team Canada most of these guys are actually Canadian (Jim Neidhart, British Bulldog & Doug Furnas as Team Canada? Go figure) Erm.. back to the match at hand. Really good back and forth, the falls and eliminations really worked and made you hope until the end that Team USA would pull it off – only to be denied! Alfdogg has been SUPER strong since he lost the world title, I’m a big fan. Bruce/Landon/GPX – No comments Nueve Uno Uno!! The entrance was high-larious and the match that followed was great as well. My only half negative comment was that the 4 on 2 advantage didn’t last very long – I thought the way they pinned Ned Blanchard was awesome, but the quick DQ only moments later was a bit rushed IMO – but that’s a minor, minor nitpick on a great match. With the “emergency rebooking” *wink*wink* of November Reign I think the singles match was a good choice, the longest running angle (I think) right now, the first 1 on 1 clash of these two and well a match that was just awesome…. Even if Zack won it a hell of a read, kudos to Zack for bringing another barn burner

No one else has feedback for the show? *sigh*

AJ's been a face since 2003. Funnily enough he's been a face since he turned after the last time Russo turned him heel. -
New Year's Spectacular: Mainframe Monday
Bruce Blank replied to King Cucaracha's topic in Brandon Truitt
Well most of you probably already know what I'm working on for this show since I asked most of you to lend me some characters for the match itself. THe New Year's Knock Out 20 Man X-Division Rumble Every 60 seconds a new man enters the match until only one man stands tall in the end. Over the top rope eliminations as you would expect. Confirmed list: Ramone Juan Jesus Gutierrez Discovery Supernova Space Phaero It El Espirito Kenji Kawada Space Tigre Tigre Metallico Bloodshed James Blonde Faqu Rikjin Massamoto Ultra Shago Dark Predator Spanish Fly James Riggs Dance Dance Dragon "After Hours" Felix Strutter 20th "Vote in Guy" The Vote Which Former X-Division Star will be the 20th entrant?? 1) The Amazing Rando 2) The Superstar 3) Ultimo Villaño X Unfortunately I haven't heard back from LaParkaYourCar so I decided to put Ultimo Villaño X in there - yes a bit anemic but I want this match to really signal that 2007 will be an X-Division year so I don't really want to bump it -
He reminds me more of Heidenreich. A retaded Heidenreich at that (if that's not redundant) that's what Stephanie McMahon consideres "the look"? why did Mark Jindrak fail then? why is Masters not setting the world on fire? This guy looks like 800 other generic guys they¨ve tried - short hair, some tattoos, bland & heatless. He's Charlie Haas without the talent, he's Mark Morgan without the lame studdering gimmick. Give me a break

the Ultimate Warrior of 2006 = Kurt Angle
-
How about this for "why" - maybe Angle still isn't in good enough shape to really let it rip for a true classic? yeah he claims he is, he also said he drew like no one else for Vince and that he can walk on water so who knows.
-
If you want to use Danish Dynamite, the King of Beers or one of the three Space Cadets not booked (Discovery, Supernova & Space Phaero) lemme know

As announced on HeldDOWN Bruce Blank & Landon Maddix Vs the Global Party Exchange (If Bruce is pinned he must tear up his contract)

Alright time to feed that bag!! Cold start with Malibu & Cortez duking it out, drawing out Anglesault who books a REGULAR match for November Reign, talk about a swerve there the kicker being that the winner gets a shot at the world title. Go on Cortez!! You can do it!! Columbian Heat & PRL TENSION!! I like, with PRL now on the face side it's interesting to see how former enemies see him - PRL claims facitude, Heat doesn't buy it. Good, effective way to build to the main event (and maybe beyond) Whats that? An X-Title match? I don't think the outcome will surprise me, but good choice of new champion - should get the division hopping with a workhorse holding the gold (and with plenty of suitable characters cropping up it seems) And a title win is followed up by some TENSION!! between Alfdogg & Reject with their respective groups behind them (Who'd be the heel there?) good build to the main event of November Reign Which will apparently also include Thunderkid! I don't comment on my own stuff but feel free to express the weirdness of the backstage segment Money Inc V2.0 in the hizzouse! Good match even if it's really an extended squash match. Southern Rockers, Sooner Bruisers - Oh you're damn right it's on! I'm digging just how busy the tag-team division really is in the OAOAST in general and especially the ongoing story between these two teams. Speaking of tag-team division... the Red & White Express: I didn't think Team Denmark was really that creative so I changed it up. D'LUX!! PRL!! Intrigue as PRL tries to convince everyone that he's a face now. I dig the storyline of "is he or isn't he" here, it'sw a balancing act that's hard to do but so far it's being pulled off very well. Next segment: I put my foot in it by saying Blank will tear up his OAOAST contact if someone can pin him cleanly. Static takes the challenge, almost pulls it off but falls to Landon's trickery! (that reminds me I need to post something in the November Reign booking thread) 10 Team Tag-Team elimination match - I loved those in the 87 & 88 Survivor Series, I'm just glad I don't have to write it Lighting Crew doesn't like the face PRL - Good I'm glad the group isn't forgotten just because he turned face, excellent. And now - the main event! Excellent action, constantly dancing on the edge of "is he or isn't he still a cheating bastard" and it's the match the show has been building to as well with a buttload of promos about this match and the match with D*LUX. Lighting Crew Explodes and it looks like both Heat and Fly have turned heel, maybe we'll see a new Crew ready to spread even more mayhem in the OAOAST? Good show, it definitly had a lot of build towards the PPV which I always like to see and some good action this week - no throw away squashes either. Some interesting stories being told and the absense of a certain champion makes the fact that 7 other guys can walk out with the title even more intriguing.

Live from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan!! Finally a debut Discovery & Venom of the Space Cadets make their debut and take on a team from the world tag-team tournament that's passing through the OAOAST on their world tour - Team Denmark (Danish Dynamite & The King of Beers) For card making purposes: Discovery & Venom Vs Team Denmark After Bruce's annoucement that he's OAOAST exclusive Bruce has yet another announcement to make on HeldDOWN, will it be as big as him leaving the SWF? Baby it's even bigger
-
Yeah I'm sure Hogan, Austin and the Rock never drew like Kurt did... sjeesh
-
Yes, about the same chance of Kurt Angle signing with TNA, there is zero chance that will happen

He also said Raw was well written so take it with a grain of salt -
Only if you're like mr. supersensitive - otherwise it sounds like me pointing out that WC was trying to make an actual point that could help you improve perhaps (and he mentioned 3 other names as well) Apeshit? Let's just wrap you up in bubblewrap before the world goes apeshit on you - no need to reply, I wouldn't want to go apeshit again by responding calmly and logically
-
That's ape shit? Go figure I didn't even know that
-
Blank quit, you know. Unless he's Nemesis, which is possible. quit or not the man is trying to tell you something about the match here so maybe focus on that point instead?

Survivor Series X-Division Elimination Match The Space Cadets (Discovery, Venom, Supernova & Space Phaero) Vs "Los Internationales" (Ramone Gutierez, Kenji Kawada, El Espiritu & "It") No longer a Spolier and the "Los Internationales" isn't an indicator that they're a stable, it's just Survivor Series tradition and all

Bruce Blank/Wildcards follow up on the horrible, nasty, cowardlike attack on Todd Cortez last week -
723 872 1291 435 123 What's that? the different attempts at me getting started on the match (I started with the action then figured I could always add the intros later) Yeah to say that it's going well is an overstatement.

Bruce Blank replied to chirs3's topic in Smarks Wrestling Federation
Well slap me blue and call me a smurf, I thought I read somewhere this show was pushed to Tuesday, that'll teach me not to read the top of the card too carefully. Since I planned on writing my match today before I thought the show was due I got nothing, sorry. -

Note to those of you writing Bruce for this Twilight Zone show - new profile is up to reflect his drunken state and I've re-added Wayne so that you actually have a profile for the little rat bastard complete with moves and everything else And I guess I'm paid back for torturing Ced Ordonez repeatedly earlier in the year -
