I'd find it fun to run a MLB team with Al. Hey Al, lets go interview for the Red Sox job together. We can be a team like Jim Beattie and Mike Flannigan were...except we won't suck. If we succeed then you can go to Philli when old man Gillick decides to leave because he's...well...old.

Its a start though, and Jacoby Ellsbury is more a Johnny Damon type hitter. He's a very good defender too. David Murphy started to come on strong in Portland at the end of the season, so who knows. Still that team is inexpensive enough where you can spend for the missing pieces. And I don't know about being unimpressive when the starting rotation would be ridiculously talented and they would be a better defensive team than they are at the moment.

I wouldn't shed a tear if somebody picked off UTSU...

If they do trade Manny I still like that Cameron, Petit, Milledge package. I'd like to see them do what Cleveland did and I believe they could get back to contention faster than Cleveland did as well. Right now Cleveland has a great team and their 2005 roster cost a little over $40mill. Keep David Ortiz, Schilling, Tek, and Wakefield but blow up the rest of the team. As a Red Sox fan the chance to see a young and very talented team like Cleveland has, along with its cost plus the Red Sox financial means...well that excites me. The 06 season probably would be nothing too special, but with what they already have in the minors I think 07 would be a good year. If they got that above package for Manny then in 07 you could be looking at... C Tek 1B ? 2B Pedroia SS Hanley Ramirez 3B Kevin Youkilis LF David Murphy CF Lastings Milledge RF Jacoby Ellsbury DH Ortiz SP Papelbon Petit Jon Lester Anibal Sanchez ? Bullpen Delcarmen, Craig Hansen That right there is alot of great youth. Get a power bat for 1B (As it stands right now Derek Lee is a potential FA after the 06 season. Maybe he wants to test the FA market) and strengthen the bullpen and this team would be young (for the most part) and dangerous. They would also have the leadership of Tek and Ortiz as well.

Agent and Ripper appear to be ignoring the fact that T.O. started the physical portion of the fight with Hugh Douglas and then challenged the rest of his team to fight him physically as well if they didn't like him.

I really wish I did have the money to order it seeing as how I'd like to see them succeed and they won't be having an easy time of doing so if everybody is just downloading the event.

I started at 286lbs and I'm already down to 270.

I don't watch Arrested Development when its on TV but I buy the DVD sets. I figure if strong DVD sales brought back Family Guy then strong DVD sales will keep AD on. I also haven't really watched any of the newer Family Guy episodes after the first 2 or 3. I'll just buy the Volume 3 DVD when it comes out.

Obituaries That Don't Warrant A Thread

Alf, did you hold up a sign that read "Bring Back Sid!" ?

Samoa Joe, AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, etc

That form is too feminant. TNA doesn't need to worry about legal battles with the WWE. Christian will be doing it on his own to ensure he can use the name anywhere for the rest of his career.
-
this is because I don't wanna sift through the other thread, and its a Monday Night game most definately deserving of its own thread.

I feel like I should be showering after I listen to any Drew Rosenhaus press conference.

If I had the money I would. Who knows, maybe I get the job at that Sports Bar and I can have them order it and watch it on an absurdly large Plasma TV.

Yup, the Mets(surprise, surprise) and Mariners are supposedly at the top of the list of teams looking to aquire him. Mets would have him play first base of course while the Mariners would lock him in at the DH position.
-
He's injured still from what I've read. He is working as a Road Agent for TNA during the injury though.

9 times out of 10 you have a guy come in as a heel and then let the fans decide when to make him a face. You can't force the fans to cheer for somebody, but they're usually more than willing to boo. I say you have him come down during the number one contendership match, make it look like he's there to help Hardy, and then at the end he levels Hardy and costs him the match. Later that night have him help JJ beat Rhino. On iMPACT he explain that JJ got him in and he's aligned with him and AMW. If you do this then... You get the Monty Brown/JJ feud Hardy/Christian feud Team 3-D/AMW feud continued That allows for an eventual 8 man tag, and if later on they wanna go down the road and have Christian beat Monty for the title causing JJ to get jealous and attack Christian...well that's an easy way to turn Christian face right there.
-
I expect that to happen at the iMPACT following Genesis though, along with him explaining whatever actions he takes at said PPV. Not the night of the PPV.
-
Why not just have Christian cost Jeff Hardy the number one contendership match and set up a money feud right there? I would imagine a Christian/Jeff Hardy feud would draw in quite a few WWE fans.

If its a call in show then I'll call in and say... "The importance of the sacrafice bunt has been lost in today's game up until the 2005 World Champion White Sox brought it back into the focus of the main stream. Do you feel 'small ball' as its called will once again begin to thrive and prove that sabermetrics is a bunch of hooey?" His tyraid afterwards would make for good listening.

Well why didn't this work for the Dudleys? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Probably because ECW came up with The Dudleys thing and Vince owns the rights to all the ECW copyrights.

It means you're allowed to be in the club but can't be served alcohol as you aren't of legal age.

as long as he can use some form of Christian since his real name is pretty Vanilla and he's already extremely established under the name of Christian.
-
If it is Christian then he can't use that name, correct?
