when you do take your road test just take your time and remember to always use your mirrors and signals.

Cheech pretty much nailed everything I'd wanna see in baseball. I mean there was a time when I wanted the DH completely out of the game but I'm starting to see the DH is good for the game for a few reasons. 1.) From an entertainment standpoint which are the fans going to enjoy seeing more. One the game's elite pitchers against one of its elite hitters or an easy out? There's no real drama when a pitcher comes up to hit because you know 99% of the time he's going to strike-out or cue a grounder to second. 2.) Strategy wise I'm starting to see it better as well. Your bench should be pinch runners, defensive upgrades, a powerbat for that late inning circumstance, and injury insurance. Having to continuously use those players to pinch hit in situations not fit for their skills and then not have them available right at the moment later on when you can use them is just frustrating for me to see as a fan. 3.) It lengthens the careers of some players. I would have never been able to see Andre Dawson at an age where I could remember him if it weren't for the DH. Sure he wasn't able to produce as he once did in his prime, but when he played for the Red Sox we got a glimpse as to what The Hawk use to be like. David Ortiz would have been out of baseball after his release from Minn, Edgar Martinez's career would have ended about 5-6 years prior to what it did, Frank Thomas would have seen his career ended about 5 years ago and Jim Thome probably never would have had that chance to make a comeback. cheech and alkeiper nailed what I would do (DH, Interleague and Unbalanced schedule, Playoffs and season length)

In Drew's defense he was robbed of a 2-run single. Tulowitzki was cheating over to the second base side and it still took a hell of a catch as well. Drew's too talented for this to keep up. I've already said what I'd like to see happen...hell if they want Ellsbury to have more time in the minors then bring up Brandon Moss already. With the exception of striking out about once a game he's doing pretty damn good down in Pawtucket.

Inc doesn't like Oz because he's too emotionally similiar to Beecher. Kinetic is his Schillinger. -

There was an episode where a guy knew this fag wanted him so he snuck the blade from his razor into his mouth and brought it into the shower room. Asked the guy if he wanted a blowjob and the dude of course said yes. I don't remember how he got him to put his head back but when he did the dude took the razor out of his mouth and slit the other guy's throat. Oz was a great show. -

I could see her murdered in just as gory a fashion as Sharon Tate. -
Is that a Muppet version of The Thing?

call me smarmy or whatever but I'm not impressed with sweeps of both the dead in the water White Sox and Pirates. This is the part of the schedule where the Yanks do need to have a roll or they're out of it. They took 2 of 3 from Boston and if they can take at least 2 of 3 from the Mets then I'll start to worry. Otherwise they have a cupcake schedule until the end of June. They have a brutal August; 3 at Cleveland, 3 at LAA, 3 against Boston and 8 games against Detroit.

I don't think he will get DFA'd since they seem more than content with not rushing Lester. If they can get something for Piniero though then they'll of course bring Lester up sooner. My main concerns though are CF and SS like any other Sox fan. Didn't like the Lugo signing when it happened and I still don't. I'm hoping they can find somewhere to ship him and bring back Alex Gonzales since the Reds are out of it. Hopefully Ellsbury will be ready by August too so they can throw Crisp on the bench to be the new Dave Roberts.

I appreciate all that Timlin has done for the Red Sox but if he doesn't show improvement over the next few days and they don't get a fair offer for Romero then I'd rather see Romero on the team and Timlin DFA. Three lefties in the pen isn't a bad thing. I also wonder when we'll see Joel Piniero traded since he's obviously not lasting when Lester is finally called up.

Yeah, look how good he was at finding the Undertaker. I enjoyed that as a little kid. -

Weird Al is an awesome concert. He comes out in costume for some of his songs too. I was surprised to see him wearing the Fat costume in 100degree weather...he's a dedicated entertainer. -

I wouldn't mind kicking PK in the nuts for his deleting of "Sound the Alarms". That shit was insta-classic and it still bothers me it was deleted. He may have killed the climax of my messageboard career. -
stick a fork in Mike Timlin, he's officially done after watching him today.

I woke up this morning with massive gas pains that were only eased by explosive diahrea. I feel your pain KOAB

Shit, I wanted to see Tool when they come here in July. I was going to but the chick I'm getting close to probably can't go and her favorite band plays 4 days before her birthday. Instead of Tool I'll be taking her to Incubus...the sacrafices we make sometimes. -
I wonder how his OBP was when he played professional softball.

I never sent her anything interesting via PM on these boards anyways. If you got her AIM logs from like the first month after we met then you'd find some interesting stuff.

I wonder if they ran off together. Neither come around anymore.

That would be pretty boring especially with stuff like this The title was the start (That being "It took a thread about Alfdogg"). I just realised I never clean out my inbox and Leena sent me a fairly sweet PM on April 9 of last year. My first PM after coming back was to Milky. It was wishing him a happy birthday back in Nov of 05

Because I like change and I own this place. So I can change it. Great. Before we know it the board will be called "Mole's Happy-Fun-Poopy-Party-Playtime Message Land" just for the sake of change.

I see IDRM in here so I'm going to interupt this thread for a moment to tell him to check his MySpace messages. I don't want to PM him here with the same thing. Ok, carry on. -
Damnit, why are we fucking around with shit that doesn't need fucking around with?

This season has been ridiculous in terms of 5+ run comebacks in the 9th.
